This game is very dear to my heart, my first castlevania and a lovely gift from my now deceased father. It makes me so happy to see all the content you do on it, styling all over the game with impeccable movement and optimized runs, but also funny randos and such
Great time. I only wish Julius was more useful in his own mode! Sadly the Belmonts don't have a very good showing in the final good games in the series. More of an afterthought since SOTN became the gold standard.
Great run! The Somacula fight always makes me so sad; what an awesome close to the base game some variant of him could have been, instead of the annoying "infinite purse monsters while the boss wanders around" Menace fight we ended up with.
I wonder if there is any route change that can grant better damage ranges on death, I feel like doing 11 or 12 damage per hit can speed that fight up considerably given how many hits you need doing 10
5:15 thanks friend for your quick game since I want to find a way to skip the bosses to face soma with a more extreme difficulty since if I do it cleanly he only reached level 29 and I want more potential in difficulty
Very nice, very clutch. All you need is 1hp! I wonder if it would be faster to get level 11 before Death, since you're basically doing chip damage with Yoko. 7(or possibly 8) damage per whack would greatly speed up the fight, even if you have to bap a few more monsters along the way.

Julius mode shouldve been called Yoko & Alucard mode but then it wouldve ruined the surprise that you unlock them too
