    this video is awesome everytime i see it but the one thing i want from the song you dont cover! Do you know how to achieve that intro sound effect wth the sax fading into the digital sfx at the beginning of the song?

    • @NoiseChest
      @NoiseChest  Год назад

      Thanks dude! I think that effect on the sax is just a phaser or chorus with an automation in crescendo on depth and rate parameters

    • @Alflowill
      @Alflowill Год назад

      @@NoiseChest thanks ill try it and if it works ill drop a dime but rn its like a major goal to replicate that sound. Maybe its not so hard but its just so excellently executed in this song that It's kinda hard to imagine pulling it off just as well. I also tend to forget that these guys have a legitimate studio to work out of probably.

    How did you get such a nice and T H I C C bass sound? Im a bit of a novice when it comes to instrumental recordings and I cant figure out how to get a good bass sound ;)

    • @NoiseChest
      @NoiseChest  Год назад +1

      I think it is mainly due to two things: the sound of the hofner viola bass itself, which is very melodic and percussive, and on the other hand, I usually play the bass with palm-mute, which gives it a rounder and more powerful touch if you compress it well. Also on my website noisechest.com you can see the effects I use on the bass!
