- In this episode of Minecraft lore, I'm going to be discussing a new topic about minecraft's secret organized villager religion. There are a lot of things pointing to minecraft's religion(s) in minecraft 1.19, so in this edition of minecraft lore explained, I attempt to show the evidence for this. This all has to do with minecraft villager lore, illagers, weird unibrows, and more! Maybe Minecraft IS a religion!? Or maybe minecraft just has a ridiculous amount of religion lore.

No, I don't use iron farms since it's too inhumane, and i don't "trap" villagers. In fact, a lot of them live in my mansion as librarians, and there's a couple in the main district of my town as blacksmiths and other jobs. Although they disappear every now and then... maybe due to mobs.

Possible lore story:
Ancient builder civilization and who built the see temples since the zombie and drowns are the only stuff that look like Steve but the drowns could not have built the temples since they don't spawn close to them and the guardians have no hands but they do have abilities like stopping players from mining as like a defense system to stop attackers?

Well, if you look at villagers pre village and pillage. They all wear robes and are kinda like a cult if you think about it. They had the golems as protection. They had a church. They worshiped something since they had a church but who knows what. Villagers originally gave me that cult vibe.
Pfft, I don’t have any villagers trapped in an iron farm 😅 or two…

@@PaladinRyan I have a theory, that the clerics, may have been the ones who originated from the underworld, there are both places which use to some extent the 2 temples technologies, ancient city has redstone, is jungle, the stronghold has end portal, and to open portal y need ender eyes and to craft them y need the flame powder, the same powder which is used in alchemy, which points that they may have been once warriors that could kill blazes.

Wait so if creepers are from the desert tribe and they attack you wouldn’t the player be part of the jungle tribe because creepers are hostile to you because you are a member of a tribe that they fought against

@@PaladinRyan btw because the satanism Thing with the evoker, i'm pretty into satanism, its litterly Like any other but closer to atheaism, they don't belive in Satan or are Evil, in fact they first really existed as a Religion since 1961 so a opposite Religion to that of Villagers is way more realistic but shouldn't Illagers then be Able to break or build stuff?
Interesting but i disagree with some of your statement.
2:02 Villagers clearly can modify their surroundings. Just because they dont build ingame doesnt mean they cant build themselves. Where did they get all of that wood, stone and materisls to build their village, and most importantly, where did they get blaze rods for their brewing stands?
2:45 I dont like ancient builders being wiles out by the wither theory for the reason that the wither isnt that hard to beat. I mean even if you put bedroco wither it simply takes multiple well equipped men to put it down.
4:59 the theory takes a nosedive when you put in McD lore. McD is canon and in that game the Jungle Temples are built by Villagers while the Desert Temples are built by the nameless kingdom and their necromancers. Another thing to note that the nameless kingdom is also connected to villager religion as the necromancer has a purple cape described as "priestly" and the creeper hieroglyphs itself. So theres no war against the desert and jungle civilization as villagers cant attack + nameless kingdom uses necromancy and why would they use necromancy if the villagers cant attack themselves? They also dont seem to use Creepers as a war machine because they're necromancer.
5:29 The Idea of Religion starts at McL. In that game theres hosts which are clearly Gods and in trial ruins, theres the host trim suggesting worship for the Hosts and the trail ruins is clearly built during or slightly after the events of McL.
5:30 I dont think just because they use the creeper face for their religion doesnt mean they literally worship the creeper. Its more of a symbol like how rl religions use symbols to represent their religion.
Its either they see the Creeper as a representation of destruction. While they dont attack villagers and they have cats, it spawns in the night along with the other undead mobs. They see the creeper as a harbringer of doom, as a warning sign of danger, they worship it to sway it away from their villages.
Or it could go to a more peaceful one, if we use the creepers are plants, its possible that the villagers sees the creeper as a cycle of rebirth, destroying to spread then repairing. It goes well with their peaceful nature, that even if great civilizations are destroyed, new great ones will rise from the ashes.
