It'll make niche/expensive tools more viable at all stages. A bag could be loaded with keys, shovels, and whatever else and dropped off near the front for people to run back to as needed, then once the day is over everyone just drops their gear, loads it back into the bag, grabs as much loot as possible and runs, making it easier to get equipment back to the ship along with actual loot.

@@z_xd_lol i dont see why they would, though i imagine putting bags inside of bags isnt long for this world. We now have the resources to take on eclipsed moons, lets show those monsters who's really the lethal one!
I feel like even though they are very different games, Lethal Company and Phasmophobia have always had a sort of similar nature in some ways, so when you were requesting possible new games at 8:44 , I feel like it may be a good fit. However, much of the deep diving into game mechanics and whatnot has already been done and continues to be done, so it's not like you'd be the only one doing it, but it's up to you Wurps.
i believe phas served as a jumping point for zeekers to design his own game, there's an old post on the phas subreddit where he ponders the idea of further limiting comms by making the walkie-talkie an item. the difference is LC absolutely clears phas by miles, their dev team is shackled by a leader who lacks creative direction and fun game design ideas. zeeky is just balling on his own, phas is ironically stuck in purgatory for now.
Phas is in the same genre, of 4 expendable nobodies doing pointlessly dangerous stuff because they have to (proximity voice chat is a feature by law). Usually these games feature randomness/seeds, that allow for alot of replayability, because you wont get the same thing twice. Other examples of this genre i can think of off the top of my head are: Content Warning, Deep Rock Galactic, and though ive never seen gameplay nor played it myself, apperently Murky divers is a new lethal-like game
I’m glad that Zeekers is taking time off rather than getting burnt out. Hopefully that means the modders will be able to hold up the game (like Minecraft)
the first impression on this item is incredible, you'd think that such a simple thing like this would be overpowered, but it balances out its massive upside for equal downsides, it weighs 16 pounds, still takes an inventory slot, and if you die with it, everything you stored is practically gone this item is no doubt a very good risk and reward tool
I think it needs a nerf, all the downsides you mentioned are just game rules, like how the ships deletes all of your loot if everyone dies. I expect it to take an inventory slot. There is no reason why we shouldn't be rushing backpacks. The return investment is huge even if you go to a bad planet like Experimentation.

I think the bag should be a two handed item so you can potentially carry in tons more tools for not too much overall weight but it’s harder to loot with it, so it would still keep the inventory management aspect of the game intact while offering qol and item strats
Wurps, I subbed because i enjoy your no nonsense (no padding out) guides and informative content. Kind of a bummer Zeeker didn't get some help to make more content when the game exploded, as I feel like the reason Lethal Company died down is lack of new stuff for awhile.
It would make sense that some portion of the weight of an item would be added since weight is important in this game. Maybe 1/4 of the weight or something.
I think, it's maximum storage should be cut in multiplayer, to 2*3, so it won't really be that broken outside singleplayer. Also, about weight, as someone mentioned down where. It should cut it in half, not totally delete it, it's just that op.
I mean Lethal Company has release a whole new genre of games that are "inspired" from it. Murky Divers and Pilgrims, Content warning are the more notable ones that i have seen other youtubers play! you can try those see if you like it!

Next thing that needs to be added imo is some kind of trolley or shopping cart that can carry scrap. Make it loud and slow or something to make it a risk reward thing but something to haul scrap
Personally I think this is great, but this will definitely be the update to potentially split the player base. The vast majority of the players I’ve encountered actually enjoy the strategies required to get tools in, it feels more rewarding to have successfully brought enough keys or a flashbang for example. Having the Belt Bag sort of just feels like you have a creative mode menu. We will see what happens!
I think its actually interesting to be able to have a way to take tools only, things like a stun grenade or flashlight or TZP, because the only reason you dont take them is because they take up the slot, so pretty interesting to see what will happen.
this is actually fixes a problem I had with lethal, being the need for a shovel increasing greatly while inventory staying low. A flashlight is near nessecary, and that taking up one of my few slots sucks
I also noticed the jetpack has different fuel visual and the timer goes now by 1 instead of 6/7 or whatever it was (like 12:45 into 12 52, now it goes up by one). Is that a mod or is that also a feature now?
if a bag with stuff in it can be put in an another bag that scales the employees strenght into infinity. I would scale their durability to inf as well but that would mean I would have to say that the shovel has inf durability as well so that is up in the air
There is a bit of crossover between the Lethal Company and Splatoon communities. This is mainly due to one of the game modes in Splatoon 2/3 being somewhat similar to Lethal: Salmon Run. You have to work together fulfill a quota by collecting items and bringing them back to spawn. In this case, the items are the Golden Eggs of the bosses you face, and it is a horde-based mode.
honestly, i would love to see proper mod review content or modded moon gameplay content, its a subgenre of lethal company which has essentially no in depth reviews and frankly lack luster content with mods which sometimes are quite honestly phenomenal. having go to guides to certain mods, like 'welcome to oobltera' that ACTUALLY help you understand and appreciate that mod would be AMAZING and could help expand the modding community even more, PLUS! its still lethal company if you want to stick with that specifically!!
Honestly I think this is a great addition. For the main reason that they can still die from a dangerous monster and loose EVERYTHING that was in that backpack
8:00 I cannot recommend rainworld more. By far my favorite single player game of all time; really fun gameplay, huge emphasis on player agency, completely non-linear, almost no handholding aside from a 5 minitue tutorial at the start and occasional room specific hints, and the best immersion in a 2d screen scroller possibly ever. It does have some parts that are quite frankly poorly designed, mostly stemming from the game not communicating the non-linear part well enough- if you get in a region that you simply cannot progress in due to difficuly, do not be afraid to leave and come back later when more skilled. Content wise there's a pretty good amount of stuff. Obviously there's anything you would want to do with the first playthrough, but also a very large amount of tech to make videos on, especially regarding movement and AI. The rainworld community tends to give a decent amount of views to people that are videos on it, (I rarely see a rainworld video perform below average,) so I think it might perform well views wise. In any event, it's a great game you should definitely check out even if you don't plan on making videos on it. Mini rant over, good luck on diversifying content in the future if that's what you decide to do! It's hard to pull off, but it's better to get started sooner than later, especially if it looks like your main game might start losing popularity.
Damn moving on already? That stinks. Seeing this little bundle made me realize how much I’d love someone to create a real open world game like Minecraft but with the twisted horror of lethal company. Maybe some bunkers, abandoned buildings. 0 mining, just surviving and exploring scarier things
Lethal Company has a bit of an overlap with other coop horror games, as of now the most popular are roblox doors and pressure, theres also just Phasmophobia or Pilgrim which is a new one
That's why I use the mods for dedicated flashlight/radio/shovel slots and wish the dev would just make those mods standard features. Even if "realism" were a concern, the flashlight and radio are just clipped to the suit and the shovel is slung on the back, boom.
Im glad he’s trying to add ways to deal with invincible monsters as fun as it is to have unstoppable or near invincible monsters its gets real old fast when so many are like that and how unfair it can when technically more can spawn in and make it glaringly obvious how unbalanced the game can become
Idk how i feel about this, i mean on one hand, it makes gear more viable, but it also kinda is stupid you can just store infinite items in a 16 pound one item slot thing
You should play Abiotic Factor. Fantastic game with a lot of its own style as well as surface level similarities to Lethal. Its a spooky, goofy immersive sim where you and friends survive the offices and facilities of a Half Life Black Mesa esque science lab as it all goes to hell. One of the best games to release this year.
I do think that with Zeekers taking a break, the modding scene may be able to improve a lot and you could even do mod showcases or something of that nature.
this is 100% gonna get nerfed. No way this isnt gonna instantly break the game. I'd honestly rather see like an extra inventory slot for flashlights, like the mod that allows it. Because like you said, there is literally no reason to bring a flashlight in because it just hinders your ability. The only people who use them are new people.
Hey a great idea- Review mods There's a million of them and I would love someone that could find a bunch to then recommend what mods work well together. Ex- make a QOL pack, a better/more moons pack, or even a crazy monsters one with just too many things running around.
here is a comment about ur last part of the video.. I think and feel like lethal company was a super hyped up game (for good reason), and as a result a lot of people who enjoy all sorts of different kind of games hopped onto it. I personally am very big on soulsborne and souls like games, but play all kinds of stuff. I think what most people who enjoy lethal company would enjoy is games that are fun to play with a small or bigger group of friends, whatever the genre is.
Idea for balancing: make it have a battery and everytime you put stuff in it it loses battery and when it’s completely empty it gives you the true weight of what you have in there or just make it 2 handed to make it harder to use with jetpack on rend and dine.
Pros: For a small price, you can carry all your tools at once to help with any situation. Cons: You're still going to get neck snapped by the Bracken you didn't see and lose everything.
Putting a jetpack in the bag is actually kinda redundant since you could just fly with the jet. Unless you needed to carry a jetpack through the facility for some reason. Edit: also two handed transfers
Oh yeah? What if you need to walk back with a painting but you also need to take the jetpack back? Normally jetpack weight slows you down quite a bit, but with this bag the jetpack weighs nothing
I wonder if Zeekers adding this as an extension of LC's existing design framework and made it OP for testing purposes, or if he's adding this as a way to fundamentally transform how the game plays? Will be fun to see. In any case, I think this has potential to fix the poor synergy or conflicts between some of the core mechanics. Namely the game encourages employing all the different tools to contend with the threats and environmental roadblocks, but the weight-based speed/stamina makes it very unfun, even impractical to do so, and carrying tools and can actively hinder the broader goal of quickly, efficiently bringing back loot which you need free slots for. It's fun to see how devs reconcile conflicts in their design to discover where their game is most fun to play. It is still in early access after all.

Mini rant over, good luck on diversifying content in the future if that's what you decide to do! It's hard to pull off, but it's better to get started sooner than later, especially if it looks like your main game might start losing popularity.
Probably the weight will change the more you put in
Damn moving on already? That stinks. Seeing this little bundle made me realize how much I’d love someone to create a real open world game like Minecraft but with the twisted horror of lethal company. Maybe some bunkers, abandoned buildings. 0 mining, just surviving and exploring scarier things
Nah we really gonna get to the paper now
honestly, try some games potentially involves strategies(or make do a commentary) idk why but ur voice is really soothing to hear lol
This is insane!
Oh man I'm going to have to update my Black Mesa interior mod again so soon by the looks of it 😂
1:00 you can look down to access it? Does this mean we're finally going to be able to look all the way down?? Lets gooooooooooooooooooi
Im glad he’s trying to add ways to deal with invincible monsters as fun as it is to have unstoppable or near invincible monsters its gets real old fast when so many are like that and how unfair it can when technically more can spawn in and make it glaringly obvious how unbalanced the game can become
1:12 what is this, TARKOV?
LMAO❤
What about the meteor strike
Wow this really changes everything lol
AMMO BAG
In terms of other games, Noita would be cool to see.
This will be great for scooping tools people drop at main so they can carry more loot...now bag man can recover all the tools for the next day.
Would be nice to have a tool belt, which would have like 2 or 3 separate slots for flashlight, shovel and walkie
this is 100% gonna get nerfed. No way this isnt gonna instantly break the game.
I'd honestly rather see like an extra inventory slot for flashlights, like the mod that allows it. Because like you said, there is literally no reason to bring a flashlight in because it just hinders your ability. The only people who use them are new people.
a lot of not new players use them (pro flashlights) because it makes clearing much faster and when you have money you can leave them in facility
Hey a great idea- Review mods
There's a million of them and I would love someone that could find a bunch to then recommend what mods work well together.
You should check out some of the lethal clones and see if you like any of them.
Cons: You're still going to get neck snapped by the Bracken you didn't see and lose everything.
woah bundles from minecraft
Putting a jetpack in the bag is actually kinda redundant since you could just fly with the jet. Unless you needed to carry a jetpack through the facility for some reason.
Edit: also two handed transfers
Carry a jetpack for your friend.
Oh yeah? What if you need to walk back with a painting but you also need to take the jetpack back? Normally jetpack weight slows you down quite a bit, but with this bag the jetpack weighs nothing
Aint no way it can hold everything, that is op as hell. Probably gonna change.
you might like Vermintide 2, its a L4D2 like game, and it has tons of replayability
It is still in early access after all.
if your looking for games to cover, pilgrim is quite good, it's a medievel lethal companyesk game
