I just picked up one of these today. This is the only video I could find of them, thanks for helping me decide. It was between this or malus 'prairie fire'

      Glad it helped!
Mind you both of these would make excellent choices

Thanks for watching. We are pleased to hear you liked this. it is true that when they do flower they are very beautiful.... and like I mention in the video they just get more and more flowers as they mature, and it is really nice to have ones like this one that have long lasting foliage and decorative fruit to carry the interest on through the rest of the growing season - that's why this one is so special.
If you haven't already, may we suggest you think about clicking to Like and SUBSCRIBE to our channel. We are adding lots of plant videos all the time - many that you won't find anywhere else. And, of course, if you see any videos (like this one) that you think are worthy of other people knowing about, it would be nice if you could click the "like" button because that will help other people find them too in the future.

Thank you for the great video, I am thinking of using some Malus Show time's down a driveway on both sides of the road roughtly 8m (26ft) apart, do you think they would be suitable? We are in Armidale, NSW Australia

Our experience is limited to our Mid-Atlantic & Northeast USA region so you would be better to check with your local garden centers, they will know what grows well in your area and which ones won't! For what it is worth this ornamental crabapple is an excellent selection that does very well here but we have no idea how it will perform in "Aussie" conditions.
