    Being a Malayali happy to see both of you... ❤️ I am a forth year student doing MBBS in China.. It is a great deal and my terrific dream when I think of Mci exams.. But at the same time my intense dream is to work in UK or USA as a doctor..I don't know whether I deserve it or not... seeing your video once again made me to think " why shouldn't I try for PLAB"!😌

      Thanks. Sometimes attachments opportunities are advertised on the NHS jobs website. You can also email HR of the hospital you wishes to work and see if they have any opportunities available.

    Hey ,,just had some doubts that is ...is it better to study mbbs from India and go to UK like you guys did or study medicine or MBBS or whatever idk..in UK and continue working in UK like which is better in the terms or everything.... I'm asking in the point of view of a 12 grade student. And even if we pass out of the university what is the chance to get a job offer like our future secure or we get a job for sure like that.       Clinical attachment means shadowing a clinician in a hospital/ primary car setting to understand Uk health care system. It can be sometimes free or you may have to pay some fees to do it..
      Yes GP training and all the speciality training are done under NHS.

    Hi I am a going to give my plab 1 examination on august and after watching your video I realised that even I have the same issue of difference of name in my certificate and passport......I studied in Karnataka....so how am I supposed to prove that both are same ...can you please share with me the format of the certificate we have produce stating both are same

      We worked as Junior clinical fellow for 2 years before entering to training.
      Entrance exam depends on the speciality you chose. Some specialities will have interviews, for some you will have to write MSRA exam along with Interviews. If you prepare well its easy to crack. Thanks

      No, if have done an accepted internship (by GMC) in India you don't need to do FY2 to get Full GMC registration.

      You would need to contact the HR of the hospital you wish to do the clinical attachment. Some hospitals do change fees for doing it. It differs from hospital to hospital.

      We got a certificate first from our medical collage and then from University.

      Its shadowing Doctors/ Consultants in Uk for a month or two to understand the health care system. You could apply through NHS Jobs website or by emailing the HR department of hospitals/trust.

      Clinical attachment means observing a Consultant to for 1-2 months to understand the UK system. You won't get any pay during this time. You might need to pay some fees to do clinical attachment.

      In order to increase your chance of getting a non training job you need to do a clinical attachment.

    Ma'am I want to ask u.. is the plab or uk pathway only for those who want to settle in uk..? After completion of training can I come back to home country.. and will there be job opportunities available for mee..?

      After completion of training most of them stay back due to better health care system, work life balance and quality of life. If you wish you can go back to home country once you finish studies. You might need to check with MCI which all speciality degrees are accepted in India.

      It depends, if you are not doing internship in India, you won't get MCI registration to work in India. If you are aiming to work mainly in UK, entering early on the training pathway as FY1 would be beneficial. But you need to understand the requirements for entering UK foundation programmes are different and you have a specific window period to apply for training every year. Taking a FY1 equivalent non - training job would not be sufficient.

      We have given IELTS as OET wasn't an option when we were giving our exams. But I have heard OET is better as its medically related.

      In the last 5 years the pass rates for Plab1 ranges from 69% - 74%, Plab 2 66%- 78% .
