I'll admit the Giants did put up a fight but I'm glad the Dodgers pulled it off. One more win for the sweep. LET'S GO DODGERS!
I mean it was a bullpen game, and they had Logan Webb on the bump who’s 3-0 in dodger stadium. So pretty good win all things considered !! LGD💙

It shouldn't have been that close. Twice Kiki should have bunted. If he isn't bunting in that situation than Dave will never ask anyone to bunt. That's why he has a dismal extra innings record. Dodgers will need every run in the playoffs. Can't count on 3 run homeruns like in the regular season.

Hard to believe Mookie didn’t receive any big awards last season with a 309/39/107 season. The 107 RBIS were a major league record for lead off hitters. He also didn’t get a gold glove even though he played at an all star level at 3 positions.
Horrible strike zone today
Phil Cuzzi has always been a strike zone nightmare. You never ever want to see him in the umpire rotation and if he’s there pray he’s on 3rd base to start a three game series. That way he won’t get behind the plate.

As annoying as it may be because it’ll slow the game down. It’ll be nice to have these arrogant umps consistently humbled. I swear these dudes somehow get away with building a terrible strike zone as some sort of persona.. this has always been cuzzi and you don’t think they go back after the same and see where the zone had it? Of course they know all there mistakes but they don’t care because they feel they’re right and that’s all that matters.. fuck the game and leaving it up to the players Phil cuzzi needs his own zone persona,
Angel Hernandez is another one. Joe west who recently retired all these dudes build personas on being bad because they can. They’re allowed to do whatever for some weird reason

Great win for Dodger Blue despite playing against a ten man team all night, Phil Cuzzi behind the plate being the tenth man in the Giants line-up. That floating strike zone was horrendous. If you're gonna be biased, try to be a little less blatant, and a bit more subtle.

It's literally like punching in a cheat code. Really, anything less than the Dodgers winning 120+ games this season is unacceptable. They quite literally bought themselves wins. This does not mean playoff success, though. I predict they will choke again come the playoffs. LA fans best not get too excited, don't forget about my Braves now.. were ready and waiting for you.

They have noticed that Ohtani has not yet paid back the 700 million he signed. Of course, now he is on a team that has good players, when he was on the Angels there was no competition; Now he is surrounded by several stars like betts, freeman, hernandez, muncy, etc. So far the Dodgers do not need Ohtani, all the games have been won by the other players combined, in the end, both Ohtani and the team must be thinking if it was worth the investment. Don't also forget that Yamamoto has not yet paid back his salary as well.Now!!! Let's see if both players are actually good.

As for Ohtani, I think his timing seemed to be a bit off. Plus, Betts and Freeman are hitting well, so he seemed to try to hit a ball hard.
But Ohtani is not the only one who is struggling right now. Aaron Judge is also struggling and he's hitting.125 and no homerun, yet.

I am beginning to think that the MVP of this team is in a suit, not a uniform.
Idk why I feel like ohtani will start hitting a little better but his overall power numbers won’t be.. wouldn’t be shocked to only see 20-25 HR this year.. I think eventually little by little his power will start coming back farther away from surgery. We’ve seen it with other players.. he’s still making hard contact but it just not elevating anymore .. A lot of line drive singles and doubles

They moved Lux from 3rd to second because of his arm. Could nt make it to first from 3rd. And he still cant get it to first from second without putting it in the dirt. Whats wrong with this dude arm man.
They moved him from SS to 2nd base. Mookie was slated to play 2nd and was moved over. Muncy has been 3B from the beginning.
And Muncy is an awful at 3rd base.

Yarborough faced plenty of right handers. He struggled at times but he gave us the innings needed.
Felt Brasier should have went two innings.
@@f430ferrari5, well its called a bullpen game. When Brasier was announced as the starter, it was obvious to all. The plan all along was to have him go 1 inning. Nothing new here.
@@markanderson7833 I believe the whole point is that one manager is trying to fool the other manager that the starter plans to go 4 innings and thus the opposing manager puts left handed bats in the line vs a right handed starter.
Roberts did this with either Pepiot or Sheehan. Both right handers. The opposing manager put a bunch of lefties in the line up.
Everybody thought, Pepiot or Sheehan would pitch 4-5 innings.
What Roberts did was take the right hander out after one inning then went with Yarborough a left hander.
It doesn’t do much good making it intentional and it the opposing team doesn’t switch anything up. Yarbrough just ended up facing a lot of right handers when he came in.
@@f430ferrari5, Pepiot and Sheehan are both starting pitchers. The plan was to have them go longer but they got tagged. Brasier has started 2 games in his career, including this one. The first one was one inning also. Many teams have the bullpen starting in the rotation. Tampa Bay made this popular a few years ago. I guarantee the opposing manager wasn't fooled by Brasier starting.
Betts deserves Ohtani’s salary not Ohtani
@AnayanationAuto, just FYI... Mookie is making $30M a year and Ohtani $2M. Mookie got a $65M signing bonus. Ohtani didn't get any. Let's see your comments when Ohtani gets going.

@@AnayanationAutoDetailing, how did Mookie and the rest of the team prove themselves against the Dbacks in the playoffs? You obviously haven't seen what its like when Ohtani gets going. Also, he will pitch next year and will probably play some outfield this year so he's not just a DH. I love Mookie but everyone has a slump or two each season.
Mookie gets good looks simply for the fact the #17 was the the next batter. That's not going to be reflected in any stats column. It's the same effect when Ohtani hits 2nd in the lineup with the Angels, the only difference is they don't have anyone decent batting leadoff. Even then, their leadoff batter is a rookie who went on a hot on-base streak that carried on to this season.

Then you have Michael grove who I feel like I’ve seen do the same thing so many times where he’ll occasionally come in and look good for an inning but if brought back out he Always sucks and a everyone seems to know it except Dave Roberts some how .. Needs for trade , RP, SS, CF, 3B.. we’re obviously not gonna do all of it but Id hope for at least 2 of those holes filled by July

It's not pressure....He always takes time to get going in the bat.... Even with the angels....He stays cold at the opening and ending of the season it is the mid season where he destroys pitcher....In every season he put up stupid numbers in the middle of the season if he could countinue with that pace he could easily homer 55 homeruns....
