Man... So I've been looking forward to this for sure, and money was spent to access it - but I also just found out that... according to a MOTD bot, on May 2nd, Smite 1 is going to have Corrupted Arena.
I am SUCH a sucker for Pit Game, goshdarn! If it really coincides with the first Alpha day, I think I'm gonna wait to try Smite2 on the next day then! Hah.

Hot take but I hope in assault instead of everyone having beads people will have med for 12 levels and then their ward shard turns into beads at 12. In assault when you have a hard CC god like ares or daji your team will wait for you to engage with ultimate. If you have teammates who only wait for ult engages and the entire enemy team has beads your in for a long painful loss.
No I need my beads it's literally the only counter to hard cc ults.

@@SAINTxSZN but without that get out of jail free card it could help people start to say for example pay attention to the ares walking at them every 90 to 60 seconds and play smarter instead of just relying on beads cooldown.

kind of surprised they doing cernunnos and izzy before Artemis. I was also really hoping that Sylvanus would be in. not sure how many meta changes there were when i took a break from smite. i loved doing burst dmg builds with syl and blink. this was when they had boots and then when they removed them. when they still had boots and i did that kind of build in conquest with a friend. his buddies thought i was a dumbass for it, burst no boots. every time they needed help i was right there, blink in 1/4/3, then the other team would run depending on how hp they were i could get 1-3 kills. that stopped giving me shit after that during the run, i am not a conquest player but it was fun. Being able to use all the items is going to be interesting. there are some gods in smite one if they had certain items would just be unstoppable period. I just wonder how they would tweak them so it would not happen.
i would come up with some off the wall builds that would get me a lot of shit in game from my team. when the match was over, my team did not give me a lot of shit. attack speed+frost bell, crit build izzy with the items that slow and reduced healing. loved my crit builds on art till they changed her passive :X

Yeah I tried getting back into smite after a few years hiatus and I lost my progress. I'm currently working on figuring out what happened. Was looking forward to smite 2 but this is putting a huge damper on the excitement.

Even more horrible is that this game has a little community and it will divide the community in 2 because smite 1 will continue to exist. Not only that, but this game will have only 30 Gods or so... when we have like 130 in smite 1. It is a cash grab and made for you to buy everything all over again and for them to get pubilicity again because of the tittle. Horrible
The thing I want to know is my low end pc can still run it cuz in smite 1 I have like 80 fps

I need adventure mode in Smite 2 please!! It was so much fun in Smite
So, the first time you boot up the Smite 2 play test it gives you a link to an "alpha expectations" web page. Right now this page is blank but I really like that they have it. I'm hoping to also have a place ahead of time where I can read the new items because building is something I'm interested in. Note for everyone playing the alpha, matchmaking will be AWFUL, expect a lot of f6 at 10 type games as folks experiment w/ builds and get used to new mechanics

Not sure how I feel about every character being able to build everything. Also not sure about active items, I liked that smite didn't have those. It makes league too complicated.
Yea after I saw all the active items it’s just overkill. Try predecessors it’s sick I’m gonna main that from now on, all they had to do was make smite but better physics

im assuming something like (hold rb + x,y,b,a = actives

It will be on console also yeah but I think it might be xbox series x and ps5 only not sure on that tho

You can't use the banned account on smite 2 but you can make a new account on smite 2. Devs confirmed this. So you still lose everything and get no legacy gems, etcx.

If your smite 1 account is banned can you play smite 2?
Yes but you will have to start fresh and can't link your accounts so you won't get legacy gems.

Is it okay to play smite 2 alpha as a complete newbie ? I played lol for 10 years but I am very tired of it and smite 2 looks very cool so I am thinking about buying the supporter edition, but I don't want to be insulted and flamed by toxic players brausen I am new to the game. Is the community toxic or is it newcomer welcoming / friendly? Would be nice if someone could give me advice on that.

The alpha is going to be on console. The founders pack can be purchased already on Xbox and I have it downloaded waiting for the 2nd

beads on an even longer cd than it was hurts my soul. Smite 1 already had such a crowd control creep where almost every god has at least 1 form of cc, often hard cc, and most times more. Beads is a must have but the cd was often way too long. and now you tell me it gets worse? ugh....

blink is now an item that you can buy, and you can use it in combat now. Unfortunately I don't know its cooldown though

She will probably have int scaling but there are no classes in smite 2
Personally, I don’t think smite 2 will do that well I think after a month, it’ll have an even lower player base then smite 1
