Great content! Keep taking advantage of Cds, Tbills and HYSAs while interest rates remain up!

That's the plan! A couple rate hikes are still planned for 2023 so we'll see how much higher rates can go!

Super content! Keep it up! Do you think interest rates will go up more over the next 6 months (by Christmas)? Do you think interest rates will fall in 2024? Thanks.

Great question, Rose! With the Fed announcing two more potential rate hikes in 2023, there's a chance rates will move up a little bit more by Christmas before falling (at least, that's the plan).

Great info Eric. I went with my brokers regular money market fund. Just going to keep most of my money parked in there at around 5-something percent yield. Also Im still doing t bills but not as much as I was before. Have a good day.

Hey Eric, we have a Marcus & Capital One 360 high-yield online savings account. I had opened a Discover savings account to take advantage of a $200 bonus offer, but for some reason Discover wouldn't accept my deposit from my local credit union checking account.
I had no issues with Marcus or Capital One making deposits from the same account.
Discover customer support was friendly but not helpful so I closed my account without ever making a deposit.

So sorry to hear that you ran into some trouble! Glad you had a lot better experience with Marcus and Capital One though. It sounds like Discover & credit unions don't work as well.
