electrical engineer student here, about the amps enel can output, it all depends on the electrical resistance of the material, for example a human body tends to have 300-1000 ohms, and the formula of the current says I=V/R so that means if enel outputs 2 Million volts that would be about 2k amps, keep in mind that 0.1 amps through the heart can kill a person so... you would be literaly roasted from the insides. sorry if i made a mistake, still learning english

Sort of but I mean Enel is actually pretty good with his fruit. He's not just Zuesing it & spamming lighting bolts, he has formation & a transformation. Same with Moria but if Enel had Armament Haki as strong as his Mantra, & maybe even Conqueror's too, he could definitely be Yonko level or MAYBE beyond depending on when they bring him back into the story. Moria...he's lazy from defeat but who knows, he may snap out of it.
Moriah is lazy because he thinks he can accomplish his goals without lifting a finger. Eneru is lazy because he assumes that nothing can hurt him and that he is invincible.

It is mentioned more than once that he tries to do as little as possible when it comes to anything he is doing unless he is invested in his current interest or he has no choice. I can understand the concept of creating expendable meat shields whom he can replace at will, but this means that if he ever faces an opponent strong enough to defeat his strongest zombies, he will have a difficult time defending himself. His shadow can protect him and attack, but it would be more effective if he fought with it. I can't imagine his crew would want to see him like this.

Oars was capable of fighting with him, but clearly Moriah specifically modified his body to allow for that possibility. Moriah stated that his death wouldn't stop the zombies and make the shadows return, but that is not to say that someone couldn't overpower him and break their spirit thus allowing them to be defeated. During his fight clash with Luffy, he remained sitting until Luffy actually struck him. There are not exactly an abundance of places to sit and relax on a battlefield normally.

enel fruit op. his devil fruit boosts all 3 haki types. you have lightning from conquerors boosted(easier to put armament over yourself than external usage if hes lightning easy to copy kaidos move divine thunder) boosts observation to island level as well. straight up overpowered devil fruit.
Im an electrucian student and volts÷resistance=amps .01 amp through the heart can kill a person so increasing the voltage in turn increases amps. Figure out how much resistance a human has and you can calculate how many amps he is sending. edit: I(amps)=E(voltage)÷R(resistance) P(wattage)=I^2×R or E×I

He’s been gone for a long, long time. If and when he comes back there’s no telling what he’ll do. Not to mention there are a ton of people stronger now than he was when he went to the moon. Especially Luffy.
Maybe if he trained he could but definitely has to train regular fighting. He shares the weakness of a few other logia in that he relies on just his devil fruit and has 0 durability what so ever.
That's possible, although we've never seen any other logia pull off that kind of stunt before. Even the admirals from Marineford didn't make such a transformation, and they if anyone would have an awakened logia.

Nathanael to be honest there is not enough known about awakening to really 100% determine if someone awakened their fruit, we can just use theory, head canon, and what we already know. Magellan's Venom demon is a move that completely changes Magellan's form into some sort of poison monster while the poison spreads seemingly absorbing and becoming everything it touches. It looks like everything has turned into poison Enels Raijin form is a stretch but It's a possibility. He completely changed his body but it's probably more just mastery of the fruit. If the same logic were used with Enel then Luffy would probably be considered awakened Ceasars Gas form is more like 100% mastery of his fruit due to him already knowing so much about poison and gas he was able to augment his fruit to do what he wanted with it Chopper in my opinion forced an awakening with his rumble ball but yes it's pure opinion Akainu in his Red dog form looked like an awakening but it may be mastery of the fruit because he didn't affect the area around him and turn the ground into lava. Doflamingo’s and katakuri’s paramecias are substance generation fruits, and their awakenings turn their environment into their devil fruit’s material. The demon guards in impel down had zoans, and their awakenings were better physical stats. As far as I’m aware there are no confirmed examples that contradict this pattern. So when someone says that Enel’s form was an awakening, that would imply that the awakening of logias (which all function the same except for the Yami Yami no mi) are obtaining new forms.
I like how in the Reverse Mountain Arc, Luffy struggled climbing up a steep mountain with Nami and Sanji on his back, but he can walk up a giant bean stalk with a giant ball of gold attached to his arm with no problem.
Eneru is a great example of a character who's so ridiculously powerful by default, that they've never bothered training. If he actually learned haki and such, I think he could easily be on par with the Yonkos or Admirals.
The ost mamaragan comes from the Aborigene Australian God that controlled lightning. Ener has the devil fruit I wish I had. Imagine being able to use thunder. That would be amazing.
Tri Hermawan the observation haki enel is really good at is the sensing one not the one where you predict others attacks he is ok at that one but it isn’t his main one
Rumble-Rumble Fruit is my favorite Logia in the series. I know this goes partly into _user specific skill with specific power_ rather than it being a byproduct of the Devil Fruit itself, but the fact that Enel can drop a lightning bolt on someone from literally miles away is both brick shit awesome and scary.
You fortunately wrong because its really a byproduct of his df, enel focuses a large cluster of electricity above his target, then uses it to send a huge and powerful lightning bolt crashing down from the sky, obliterating the unlucky target.
@@bradznkw But he uses Manta, which isn't DF specific to know the location he wants to hit, though. A regular Logia can't just make their attacks appear in the sky out of nowhere 10 miles away like Eneru can.

No other Logia in the series, even ones stronger than him have demonstrated that kind of range and accuracy to attack from so far away. His DF enhances his Manta to be able to perceive things from such far distances and focus his attacks from far away.

I'm studying electrical engineering so let me give this a shot. There's this thing called Ohm's Law that says V = I*R, where V is the voltage, I is the current, and R is something we call resistance that's measured in Ohms. Basically, resistance is how hard it is for an electrical current to flow through something. Copper has a low resistance, that's why we use it in wires. Rubber has a high resistance, that's why Luffy wasn't hurt by Eneru's attacks. Side note: resistance depends on a couple other things, like length and temperature, but I'll skip over those. I'm also gonna skip over ionization in the air. So let's say Eneru throws his 200 mil Volt attack at Luffy. Contrary to popular belief, it isn't the voltage that's harmful to people, it's the current. To figure out the current, I'm gonna ballpark that Luffy's resistance as a rubber man is approx. 6*10^12 Ohms, and that the resistance of the air between them is approx. 4*10^15 Ohms. If we flip around Ohm's Law and solve for the current, we get that Luffy was hit with about 0.00000008 Amps of current. To put that in perspective, around 0.1-0.2 Amps is lethal to humans, and it takes around 0.0011 Amps for you to even feel a shock.

You’re right that, as far as lethality goes, it is the Amps that kills. While what you actually feel is the Volts. That’s why most electric fences for livestock have high Volts but extremely low Amps. That being said there is a limit to how low you can keep your amperage while raising your voltage. For example, there’s really no way that you can keep 50 million Volts below 1 Ampere (That’s about how much it takes to kill someone), so Eneru probably doesn’t have to worry about his attacks not killing his target.
Maybe Eneru has found some kind of electrical equipment in the moon city that he can use to augment his powers. Like a kind of suit or something, or a weapon different from a golden staff. That way he would be way stronger without having to train, which would also fit with his kind of lazy personality
Forget the mad monk, if Eneru comes back to the Blue Sea I want to see him cause havoc on a marine populated island and have to go up against Kizaru. Light speed battle!
Finally someone brings up the second set of abilities of the goro goro no mi..eneru uses the electricity to generate an em field to shape and control the gold..it could be used in many useful ways especially in combat..if used properly this aspect of the goro goro no mi is like having an entire second fruit at your disposal
I did some math and decided to use "Little Boy", the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, for comparison. So that bomb had an energy yield of 15 kilotons, which would be 6.17x10^13 (approx.). Additionally, the blast traveled 5 square miles, keep that in mind. So, converting that to Watts, we will use a time of 1 second because we will imagine that the periods are the same. So that measurement, in watts, is still 6.17x10^13. Meaning that Eneru's 2.00x10^8 W attack isn't even close to being able to completely destroy an entire island. Also, I'm a hack so please correct me where I am probably wrong.
you missed a point, enerus limit is 200 000 000 VOLTAGE so his lightning bolt needs about 308.5Amperes to generate the same power as the Little Boy. for comparison a hairdryer needs around 8A.

Sort of but I mean Enel is actually pretty good with his fruit. He's not just Zuesing it & spamming lighting bolts, he has formation & a transformation. Same with Moria but if Enel had Armament Haki as strong as his Mantra, & maybe even Conqueror's too, he could definitely be Yonko level or MAYBE beyond depending on when they bring him back into the story. Moria...he's lazy from defeat but who knows, he may snap out of it.
Moriah is lazy because he thinks he can accomplish his goals without lifting a finger. Eneru is lazy because he assumes that nothing can hurt him and that he is invincible.

I can understand the concept of creating expendable meat shields whom he can replace at will, but this means that if he ever faces an opponent strong enough to defeat his strongest zombies, he will have a difficult time defending himself. His shadow can protect him and attack, but it would be more effective if he fought with it. I can't imagine his crew would want to see him like this.

Oars was capable of fighting with him, but clearly Moriah specifically modified his body to allow for that possibility. Moriah stated that his death wouldn't stop the zombies and make the shadows return, but that is not to say that someone couldn't overpower him and break their spirit thus allowing them to be defeated. During his fight clash with Luffy, he remained sitting until Luffy actually struck him. There are not exactly an abundance of places to sit and relax on a battlefield normally.

I have been under the assumption that the Raijin 200,000 volts form is a form of awakening as well as Magellan's Venom Demon
That's possible, although we've never seen any other logia pull off that kind of stunt before. Even the admirals from Marineford didn't make such a transformation, and they if anyone would have an awakened logia.

Enels Raijin form is a stretch but It's a possibility. He completely changed his body but it's probably more just mastery of the fruit. If the same logic were used with Enel then Luffy would probably be considered awakened
Ceasars Gas form is more like 100% mastery of his fruit due to him already knowing so much about poison and gas he was able to augment his fruit to do what he wanted with it

Rumble-Rumble Fruit is my favorite Logia in the series. I know this goes partly into _user specific skill with specific power_ rather than it being a byproduct of the Devil Fruit itself, but the fact that Enel can drop a lightning bolt on someone from literally miles away is both brick shit awesome and scary.
You fortunately wrong because its really a byproduct of his df, enel focuses a large cluster of electricity above his target, then uses it to send a huge and powerful lightning bolt crashing down from the sky, obliterating the unlucky target.

No other Logia in the series, even ones stronger than him have demonstrated that kind of range and accuracy to attack from so far away. I'm studying electrical engineering so let me give this a shot.
There's this thing called Ohm's Law that says V = I*R, where V is the voltage, I is the current, and R is something we call resistance that's measured in Ohms. Basically, resistance is how hard it is for an electrical current to flow through something. Copper has a low resistance, that's why we use it in wires. Rubber has a high resistance, that's why Luffy wasn't hurt by Eneru's attacks.
Side note: resistance depends on a couple other things, like length and temperature, but I'll skip over those. I'm also gonna skip over ionization in the air.
So let's say Eneru throws his 200 mil Volt attack at Luffy. Contrary to popular belief, it isn't the voltage that's harmful to people, it's the current. To figure out the current, I'm gonna ballpark that Luffy's resistance as a rubber man is approx. 6*10^12 Ohms, and that the resistance of the air between them is approx. 4*10^15 Ohms. If we flip around Ohm's Law and solve for the current, we get that Luffy was hit with about 0.00000008 Amps of current.
To put that in perspective, around 0.1-0.2 Amps is lethal to humans, and it takes around 0.0011 Amps for you to even feel a shock.

You’re right that, as far as lethality goes, it is the Amps that kills. While what you actually feel is the Volts. That’s why most electric fences for livestock have high Volts but extremely low Amps.
That being said there is a limit to how low you can keep your amperage while raising your voltage. For example, there’s really no way that you can keep 50 million Volts below 1 Ampere (That’s about how much it takes to kill someone), so Eneru probably doesn’t have to worry about his attacks not killing his target.
Maybe Eneru has found some kind of electrical equipment in the moon city that he can use to augment his powers. Like a kind of suit or something, or a weapon different from a golden staff. That way he would be way stronger without having to train, which would also fit with his kind of lazy personality

I did some math and decided to use "Little Boy", the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, for comparison. So that bomb had an energy yield of 15 kilotons, which would be 6.17x10^13 (approx.). Additionally, the blast traveled 5 square miles, keep that in mind. So, converting that to Watts, we will use a time of 1 second because we will imagine that the periods are the same. So that measurement, in watts, is still 6.17x10^13. Meaning that Eneru's 2.00x10^8 W attack isn't even close to being able to completely destroy an entire island.

you missed a point, enerus limit is 200 000 000 VOLTAGE so his lightning bolt needs about 308.5Amperes to generate the same power as the Little Boy.
