How the Thar became so populated
within seven years of its first receiving more more precipitation than necessity, is matter of our
curiosity. The present state of affairs
of Rajastan has become the headache of the people of rest of
India where people are dying due to
      nonstop heatwave which is a
precursor of the death of entire population of the subcontinent.
The people of Rajastan will not be spared. We have no enmity with marwari or other Rajasthanis ---
above all we are Indians .Live and let

Hii gentleman, I am from jodhpur rajasthan, have u ever been visit the west rajasthan in peak summer time of may and June month?
Probably no , so u don't know what kind of difficulties we have to face especially in the remote areas of village .
We always worship for having a rain in Monson , we also plant neem sapling to make thar green and be habituated for not only humans also for the animals bcoz we are vegetarian.
U don't know that how many animals have been dieing every year in summer time due to thirst , but we build ponds to store rain water for that sothat they survive .
Rainwater and Indira gandhi canal still not effectively successful in thar desert ,man..
I specially invite you for visiting the thar people life in peak summer time then u will realise the importance of having greenery and water ..
For u it's very easy to make a video on such a crucial and nonsense topic of limiting the greenery in thar desert it's too much disguising on u ,
Instead , u have to encourage the people to make plantation more in thar desert to make it dedesertification , just like China is doing in it's own region GOBI desert ,we have to take inspiration from there .
If there's the monson siftment in our country, then we all our Indians are the responsible for this climate change not the little greenery of thar desert , illiterate dumb men 🤫🤫🤫🤫
If u have the power of influencing the large number of people on the basis of such an stupid report ,plz don't misuse that power my brother.
I hope u will self introspect your self on it and make a video of the harsh reality of our Indians who are actual cause of the Monson and climate change ,not the greenery of thar , wise man....

Thar Desert deserves to retire from the Indian territory after 7 millenias since it's formation. Yes there might be a few geographic and climatic anomalies after the disappearing of Thar Desert in future but it's benefits outweighs the follies. If Thar Desert dissappears from the neighboring states of Rajasthan and Gujarat then the average temperature of Northern India would slowly cool down. With dissappearance of desert there would be reduction in incidents of violent sand storms. Not 2 forget Rajasthan being one of the poorest states of India needs greening of Thar Desert desperately in order to provide more land for farming, industrialization and building of new smart cities that could generate millions of new jobs each year for the growing youth population.

Thar was not always a desert and the River Saraswati flowed through this region during the Harappan or Indus Valley civilization. Maximum number of archaeological sites have been reported from here and desertification was caused by the river channel shifting and drying up due to major earthquakes further north.
Indian Monsoon system was not majorly affected by this as we also have the Mediterranean belt which brings western rains in winter up to Punjab. Also, the western Ghats don't weaken the monsoon, the Himalayas create that wind break so our monsoons easily climb over to central India.
The Omani desert is also currently going green so this phenomenon is wider within the region. Of course, we have countries like China and Israel who have successfully irrigated deserts.
Simultaneously, we have other areas which are gradually becoming arid due to lack of rainfall, extreme groundwater extraction and poor agricultural practices.
Considering the new climate regime there will be new desert regions coming up soon. These changes happen naturally throughout ages but we should be happy to get more agricultural land even as we learn to survive in the new weather patterns.

What are you trying to say? This is a strange argument, to preserve desert animals and to promote desert tourism prevent deserts from becoming green!
For the first time I am listening to something like this. What are you smoking? we need that in Noida. Here temperature is above 45 and maybe if we smoke what you smoke we will also start liking desert climate.

The problem is human population and their endless needs. Nature will and should take its course. Deserts today were basically ocean floors in the past. Don’t forget that.

A study is essential before any intervention. Adequate species should be planted. See how China is reducing deserts and increasing food production, specific plants and trees are planted

An other reason for rising greenary in Thar desert, it is Narmada River water coming from Sardar Sarovar Dam which has reached deep into the desert up to Badmer close to Pakistan Border. Reports are there that Water from this canal is being smuggled into Pakistan.

basically he is saying UP and north India should keep receiving rainfall , at cost of Rajasthan people. He is greenary of rajasthan is bad , for whom , not for rajasthan at least , there land productivity will be at best , temperatures will cool, more people would leave there . For the sake of north India , you want rajasthan to sacrifice itself.

Rajasthan water table is a dead zone. no amount of rain will raise water tables. Water has to be brought in by canals and the ERCP is a project that will alleviate the drinking water shortage of residents of Rajasthan. Rajasthanis are a resilient people having understood the importance of water storage over millenia by developing water conservation techniques baoris etc. Also they have stood and defended Bharat against foreign invaders.
About time the rest of India learnt how to cope.
