Trust me, this is a better option than in the air force. There, it's not possible to hop into an F-18 at any time of the day and engage in air combat with live ammunition. Or to sit in a helicopter and the next moment be in an F-16.
I never see these chairs being used with a keyboard and mouse. I always wonder how you manage things like using the PC, the interface, the menu's etc. without a keyboard and mouse? Do you always have to leave the chair and walk to the keyboard and mouse for every little thing? Awesome setup by the way!
so when the rig points you (letsay) upwards how does the VR know to keep ur sight level? like, if the rig points u towards the ceiling, how does the vr know its not ur head pointing up?
This is motion composition. There is a sensor on the motion platform that composes the movements so that your head position remains centered. However, you can still move your head in the cockpit.
The movements make it feel so real in VR because your brain is fooled. It also seems like you are actually in the airplane. Small movements become very pronounced in VR, and with all the vibrations, it feels completely real.
Is it correct that the F-16 has a DAR-type stick? And if this is desired when purchasing our system, can it be installed like any other desired hardware?
The F16 is faster, has a lower turn radius has a higher max. ceiling (thus a higher energy reserve) and is more manuevrable so the outcome is no surprise to me.
@@Vrsimsolutions I was just wondering as the Warthog HOTAS is on the lower end of the better flight sim gear and at the same time you have this stunning motion setup. Just doesen´t fit together imo. It´s somehow like having wheels on your car beeing more expensive than the car itself. I´ve replaced my Warthog HOTAS years ago for Virpil (Centerstick base), Realsimulator (Sidestick base and grips), Slaw Device (pedals) and WinWing (throttle, MFDs and UFC) gear, but cannot afford a motion setup for my simpit. Well tbh, i could afford it, but will never get the permission from my wife after already having spent several thousand bucks for these "toys" as she calls it. But still nice to watch these videos, so i can keep on dreaming :)
There are no words in the English alphabet to properly describe the envy I have. I NEEEEEEEEEED IT

@@Vrsimsolutions Ha, couldn't justify buying it at the moment. I'm a broke student.
Raw envy.
Blud failed to join the air-force so he said “Fine I’ll make it myself”

Amazing rig! You need Somnium VR1 with mixed reality capability to fully enjoy your cockpit!
We use Varjo, and they have the Varjo XR-4 that has mixed reality with human eye rendering. Much better! Maybe soon, we will make a video about that.

Never mind, I see on your website this chair has a keyboard and mouse. Very convenient! 🙂
If you look closely, you can see a mouse around the leg and on the right side, there is a keyboard.

@@Vrsimsolutions ahh, thanks for the keywords to search. Always wondered this and now i have a lead to look more into it for my own VR
So awesome
Yeah, it's awesome. Thanks for your reaction.
looks awesome. max lean angle? accel? i think dynamic belts to simulate G is a must in the near future!
Yes, we are looking into the dynamic belt, but they are still quite large at the moment, possibly in the near future.
NICE!!
Yeah, it's awesome. Thanks for your reaction.
@@Vrsimsolutions My pleasure!

Is it possible to make a setup like this for Vtol Vr?
Yes, SRS combined with Space Monkey will do the trick.
@@Vrsimsolutions you should try out Vtol Vr with your setup just for the hell of it
Where n the hell do you find the blueprints or RIG! 😮😮😮😮😮🎉❤

That's correct, except I had killed only the first three, but I got greedy and that was fatal.
All this expensive gear while using a Warthog base... i don´t get it... ;)
We can use any hardware in this example; we are using Thrustmaster HOTAS, but this can easily be switched for something else.
