Ray did a wonderful job filling the role of Baylan Skoll and really made it his own. He'll be sorely missed - gone before his time. I'm really interested in this hilt. If I hadn't already picked up 2 other hilts from UW on sale, I'd have given this one a hard think. Seeing it weathered is just incredible. Thank for the awesome review and hope to see more.
Great video loving the saber. Mine arrives soon. Apparently the Baylan saber was created before casting of Ray but he also changed the Pommel design. So the saber had Filoni, Doug Chiang and Ray’s influence.

Perfect way to open the review, giving some respect to Ray! I'm loving the lightsaber. I'm glad it doesn't have the typical open charge port that Nexus usually has. Internals are really nice too. Can't wait to his how the TXQ version compares
Gotta do one on the Shin Hati Lightsaber now that they have it out. And those lights on the chassis would work great on a Crimson Maul Lightsaber, so it would make the clear plastic panels on the side light up.
While I agree on gut reaction you’d expect Baylan’s hilt to be bigger, but if you look closely when it’s on screen it’s much thinner than you’d expect.
finally delivered! My finns on the emitter were lose too! Also light isn't consistently emitting light from prongs on chassis to pixel blade. Sound and smooth swing working but no beautiful pixel light. Awwww why me???? Im a new collector and I haven't had the best of luck .

It's not "accurate" but I got some black rubber o rings and put them into the grooved section in the lower grip and the single slot around the neck. Makes it much more comfortable to hold and the look is very nice

Maybe a bit controversial but - not a big fan of that version. The lightsaber in itself is great, but its definitely much too 'clean'. That one should definitely have a weathered look to it. There's a YT Short where they're showcasing the hilt (Scoundrelsinc?) that's a lot more like what it should be.

Great review. I'm not sure that Baylan's saber was as large as we might recall. Interestingly, the Padawan outpost site states that Baylan's sabre takes a 1-inch blade diameter. Maybe there's a mistake on that.
You should try the lightning block mate activate on app then hold activation button and pull backwards you might have to mess around with the sensitivity on the push and pull activation on app but it’s worth it have a good one🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Well, if you get more lightsabers, you can just swap the batteries. Or, you know, you can find similar batteries online for a fair price. the one in purple here looks like a button head which should have the overcharge protection circuit.
2 different factors. One makes snv4 and the other makes xeno v3. I can’t say one of better than the next as that comes down to each hilt individually. In many cases I have seen TXQ hit more detail correct than LGT.
Ray is the G.O.A.T... Baylon Skoll is one of the best characters in Star Wars. He is the character and Dark Jedi I've been looking for, waiting for and wanting in Star wars. I always said both the Jedi and Sith, Republic and Empire are corrupt in their own ways and that there needs to be a true balance, someone to end the endless and countless war between the 4 factions. Baylon/Ray is that person. To me he isn't the bad guy, he's the good guy, the guy we need. Sith and Empire are fueled by want, greed and lust. The Jedi mean well, they are good people, but it's their blind faith and ideology that is their downfall (like Baylon said, the idea of the Jedi are true, but the Jedi are not)... So you end up with extreme leftist and extreme right. Both parties fucked up with Anakin, he is the chosen one, the balance of the force, yet each side forced him to be either Light or Dark in the force, which led to his ultimate downfall... Qui Gon Jinn would have taught him to be both, the way he was supposed to be. Hell if Baylon was his Master at the age Baylon is in the Ahsoka series, he would have properly trained Anakin to control both the Light and Dark side of the force within him, the way Qui Gon would have.

I was told a couple update on the force park app just came out so I’ll dig in to see what is new. I’m hoping easy updates.
I want more sabers to implement something like that thumb screw to hold the blades and look more authentic.
