@@TheCollectorsOutpost I'm wondering about the knurled screw you tried to use as a blade retention screw. I'm guessing it's a standard thread pitch so a normal hardware store would carry similar with maybe a bit longer to work in place?
@@chalion8399 yeah I have a few longer ones that I use on other hilts BUT i recently hear that is for the chassis there’s a screw hole on the chassis to screw it in and out of. I truly have NO idea why you would need it as the chassis comes right out
@@TheCollectorsOutpost If that's what it's meant for, maybe it's just an optional in case future hilts have the end of the chassis more recessed? Who knows.
I keep looking back at this hilt and getting more interested in it every time. I really wish they would Collab with a better chassis maker though. I'm not a fan of the push-pin connector type. But having a kill switch is a major improvement for proffie cards.

After seeing your video on the Hati saber, when I get mine, I'm going to put a chassis light window in the handle like you suggested. I'm going to cut out the window and resin a frosted window into it so it'll just glow. Thanks for the idea! Keep up the great work!
just as a size reference to the show.....when Shin holds hers 2 handed (top hand under the guard), she has what appears to be about 2-3 inches of space between her hands. When Baylan holds his 2 handed (top hand all the way at the top) it appears there's about 4 or 5 inches between his hands. so it makes sense that they are about the same size. Also, the advert poster with all 4 new sabers (Sabine and Marrock being the others) the length is very similar with Baylan's maybe being an inch or less longer.
So the moral of the story is that Ivanna Sahko has *really* small hands?

So many super fun things in this video. Great review of a amazing looking hilt at a budget price, plus doggies, and a fun poke at long install times. I'm definitely going to purchase this saber and weather it. I prefer 7/8th inch blades and this hilt is better for using it. I actually prefer the sdabers like SN-Pixel and Xenopixel that have Bluetooth apps.
I have two cats, one is my shadow. I've only made two RUclips videos and my cat decided to make a cameo in one.
I bought the weathered version! Can't wait for it to arrive
This lightsaber looks just as good as Shin.
I also love the Bluetooth features. Hopefully we will be able to download sound fonts through Bluetooth eventually.
I have a lap Rottweiler. He has no clue that he’s 110 pounds and he just wants to be doing whatever you’re doing. Makes everything more challenging but also more enjoyable. Good to see your pups hanging out with you for a video, give them some pats from all of us.

I ordered a worn version & compared to the pictures of the one they use for the one in the show it looks really accurate👌
Also just did some weathering on my already weathered Sabine Wren lightsaber using some techniques from your videos, just to start off small. It came out looking A LOT BETTER & more accurate to screen!!! Probably won't try to weather my Shin Hati, but will on another saber thanks to your vid, definitely getting better...

I imagine the button screws off so you can use the hex wrench to tighten it so the button can be screwed back in for cosmetic purposes.
3:33 my best tip would be to go to a home depot store and find a m4 thumbscrew that’s long enough to fit in and screw the blade in and it would only cost a few bucks
If you shave the thumbscrew down a little you can get the grub screw in to hold the blade, and then the thumbscrew will hide the hole

a window/slit on hilt for leds would make great battery indicator
This is one of the sickest saber designs. It's up there with Rey's yellow saber, Kylo's cross guard and Luke's green saber. (probly my top 3 fav designs) shin's will probly take 4th place instead of Plo Koons now haha

Great show mate good looking saber just to let u now the extra silver screw is to help u pull out your core if u look at the bottom of the core there’s a thread that’s what screw is for just to pull in and out core then unscrew it and attach pommel
Yeah I was just told! Kind of dumb giving that it slips right out haha but I do use these some screws on many sabers as quick release for blades ether way. I just need a longer one. I have these things on maybe six or seven savers that I grab often.

I really need help with mounting the blade, I have 4 short screws and 4 long ones. They both fit and work with holding the blade, but it wobbles a lot when I hit something. It's just not stable, although it doesn't feel like it can fall out either. I had the screws in so deep it made dents in the blade, so it's not that. Any tips?
You should give the TXQ Version a look !
I feel like shins hilt looks best with a yellow or white blade

Hold up on that for just a bit, I have 2 other versions of Baylan I’ll be reviewing that are coming in from VS. one I already show in the Shin Hati video. It’s a bit shorter. I’ll have a video for that soon. And there is one more on the way that I think may be the best version of the 3. So just hold off so you know all your options first!
