What?? Wtf haha Stargate was followed with a series, tons of episodes, I'm not sure but I even think there are even 2 or more Stargate series made back in the 90's,2000's, and I think 2010's also
Great cast. Soundtrack was the perfect mix of creepy mystical and triumphant victory. The writing was good. Characters were alive. The story was creative and really groundbreaking for it's time. What more can you ask for? I honestly think the fact that it isn't quite as big as star wars or star trek adds to it's charm. Makes it somewhat of a hidden gem. Or at least a little less mainstream.

I was watching Stargate recently and I thought "wow this music really sounds similar to the movie independence day" ironically, it's the same composer haha.
People know little about MUSIC APPRECIATION anymore!!! Like "feeling" the WOLF'S STEPS IN THE WOODS from PETER AND THE WOLF operetta during the overture! Received handed down "78" format records in1950--my brother received in the mid 1940's from "Record of the Month!" membership. One side was the operetta, the other pointed out "hidden secrets" in the music! Wonderful!
Yeah I hear that. And that in turn sounds like the nut cracker act 1, scene 2 number 8. Listen to around 20 seconds in ruclips.net/video/SFdY_7vJaZk/видео.html
If you think of it the song's progression actually is the movie. Starts with not much, a slow build then suddenly wonder as they discover the Stargate but then finally muffled evil that grows into the climax vs. Ra.
