I had figured that a leak of that type existed mainly due to stores getting copies early, and I struggled to decide whether or not to count it as a true "leak." But ultimately, I decided not to. However, I saw someone say the ISO leaked, which, if that's the case, I definitely missed the mark on that one.
There was definitely a leak of GTA 5 before the release date. I am talking the entire game. I know because I had a flashed Xbox and a DVD burner and was able to play it at least a week in advance.
Is there any place I could look at to research this info? I believe you 100% because stuff like this happened all the time back in the day, but I didn't see much info about it, and I would love to see people's thoughts from back then.

I'm definitely 100% down to make a GTA 6 leaks video, but going in-depth is very risky, and I don't want my channel to get terminated. However, if I'm not able to make it currently, when the game officially releases, I'm sure the leaks would be free reign at that point, and I'd be able to cover them fully in-depth.

There was a GTA V Xbox 360 gameplay leak of the mission "Fame or Shame" only a week or so before official release uploaded to RUclips back in 2013.

@@aethuscp yes the ISO leaked and people with hacked Xbox 360s could burn a copy on a blank DVD and play the campaign
