It's really great seeing you play the finish off of Trigger. You definitely put some wear and tear on that guitar. I watched a video with Mark Erlewine when he was doing some repairs on the guitar. How often do you take Trigger in for a makeover? I can remember good times in 1981. That was shortly before I went into the military. When I went to boot camp I took with me the album "Willie Nelson Sings Kristofferson" on cassette. Many nights of listening. It's hard to believe that it has been over 40 years since playing on Austin City Limits. You still sound great today. I don't what your secret is but I want to know it. Stay safe and keep on making Trigger sing.

I love this song! Like all of em. I was at an outdoor concert somewhere between Norman Oklahoma and Texas. Lol we couldn't take n containers. So we filled up 4 ice chests full of opened beer! Time of my damn life! Team Willie! TJ
This should be an epic or epoc moment. Before this we had Jimmie Rogers, The Carter Family, Merle, Cash, The Doors, Zep, Skynyrd, Bob Wills, Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Lefty , and Hank. Since then we've had Millie Vanila, Madonna and some dude named Andre 3000. Point in time: before Willie and after.

Just great what I remember from back then the great Texas Fiddler Johnny Gimbal and the guitar player next to him. Great additions. Back then, I saw Willie, at least, three times. Once at one of his Picnics in an arroyo outside Dripping Springs. Great music, great sound, and a hell hole otherwise. Ran a spotlight at a show of his at the Sportatorium in Dallas. Saw him at Willie Nelson’s Whiskey River on Greenville in Dallas. Boy, three ever different places. The same great music and musicians.
At 1min the Bass player walks towards Willie paying him the musicians ultimate compliment, watching listening and smiling 😊 Along with his, I got yo back, "heavybag hit it! hit it!" thumping playing till 3:30min, when Willie moves to the mike. That makes me truly appreciate any player doing that, cause oi know oim on the same page . 🌴🇫🇯🌺🇦🇺😎👍
