  • How to do a Double Hammock back carry with a woven wrap.
NOTE: Two of the passes in this carry were formerly referred to as "rebozo passes". These passes are now referred to as "sling passes" to avoid the culturally insensitive use of the word "rebozo". For more information, please look up the #takebacktherebozo movement.

I am pretty petite too so I am glad I can do this with a 4. Great video! Thank you so much. Did my first DH today with no problems. You rock!

Thanks, I am just making it with a 5 and a 2 year old as I'm pretty small too. Thank you for giving me the courage to try wrapping after 2 years of buckles and mei tais! Your videos are perfect. Fast enough to make it look easy but detailed enough to make sense. Well, took me a while to work out the sandwich part but I'm there now :)

Michelle - it's a Didymos Petrol Fish. Ariscotm - I haven't had that problem, the tension is pretty even over a wide area :)

The wrap in this video is a size 4, but I am very petite. Most average-sized moms would use a size 6 for this carry.

Hi! Thanks for a great video. I have a question - with a very small baby do you think it's still possible to form the seat while the baby's on your back or is pre-tucking better? My baby small for her 5 months and I find I just can't seem to form the seat while she's on my back! Thanks.

I have the same problem with my 5 month old, but he's a big boy. My theory is their legs just aren't long enough in proportion at this age, lol. I either pre-tuck his seat or do carries that have spread leg passes for seats.

Do you find that the wrap tension on or around the breasts in these back carries cause leakage?

+liz alcala Didymos Petrol Fish, size 4. I only know because I saw in another of her videos comments with this same wrap.
Most people's base size is a size 6, so this one is actually one of the "shorter" ones. My base size is a 5, but I'm short and under 130lbs. Your base size is the smallest size you can do all the full length carries in, according to wrapyourbaby.com, leaving most people a size 6, under 130lbs a size 5 and over 180lbs a size 7. :)
