i own 8 oceanx sharkmaster watches from 500m,600m to 1000m, these watches are great quality for the money and a hardcore dive watch. i bought 7 of them from serious watches who are simply a great watch company. they are highly professional and their customer service is perfect as i rate this company with 5 stars as ive never had any issues. shipping is free world wide and you recieve your watch between 2-3 days, absolutely perfect indeed. thank you for this great video..
They make super good homage watches, super quality and almost 1:1 - I have 5 watches from them, and follow them closely. And then they make their watches in 42 mm., super good size (unfortunately not all models)
As someone who also ordered an OceanX watch from SeriousWatches, I agree on the unboxing experience being top notch. Stroopwafel, high quality gift wrap around the watch box and a hand-written note by the CEO is more than you get from most other online watch retailers. BTW: The watch I ordered was the Sharkmaster GMT with the white dial, which is still one of my Top 3 watches in my collection. The only negative, apart from the ones you stated, is the dial being ever so slightly misaligned to the left. In normal day-to-day usage, you won't even notice it. However, it could trigger your inner Adrian Monk if you're a perfectionist.
I have some Oceanx (GMT, V, 600er, 1000er) watches and I have to say that they are better made than, for example, the Tag Heuer Formula 1 or Aquaracer that I also owned.
@@gageprobst453 I have the GMT sprite, and I must say that it is incredibly precise, over 24 hours I lost between 7 and 8 seconds, which is just incredible. The quality of the finish is for the moment the best tribute watch I have had in my hand. For the price, for me it is a very valuable watch that deserves a lot of respect.
Nice review. Ive got the vsms-521. Very similar to yours, but like mine the better. Date details, and the dials way better designed, like Rolex submariner
It's worth noting that there are 2 lines of watches that look somewhat similar. This is the 42mm 500M ones. There are also 44mm 1000m ones that are just a bit heavier.
@@TheBoldHairspring it's big but I like it. I love wearing it with a t shirt o something with short sleeves because you can't hide it under long sleeves it's too big. But I really like it, in terms of quality I had a car crash with it, I flipped on the side and All it got was a few scratcches which were gone after using some polishing pad
Great video! I just bought my first OceanX watch in part to your fantastic video. Absolutely love it and am looking to buy another one. I'm like you and like my watches on the bigger, heavier side. Also our wrist size is almost the same so I get a very good feel for how a watch will look on my wrist when I watch your videos.
Thanks Sinjin! Really appreciate your comment. Due to making watch videos my collection is constantly changing but the OceanX hasn't gone anywhere and that means a lot. It's really nice and just like you I'm really looking forward to getting another one.

My guess is the Ocean X GMT is better. Better clasp and it has a sapphire crystal.

An extremely nice watch, especially for the money, and a great review. I wish OceanX would re-release their 600 series with no crownguards!
Thanks Jan. That would be nice and hopefully there will be enough in stock for us to grab one.

This is an excellent review of what seems to be a high value watch. Thanks for bringing it to our attention
Thank you for your comment! It's a lovely watch if you're not bothered by the dimensions.

And the 44mm 1000 with the Daytona color dial is 🔥
@@TheBoldHairspring What model is that exactly?

There is also the 600 m Shark master.. SMS611
I got two Oceanx and I love them. One vintage series bicolor and a sharkmaster 1000
Nice! What do you think about the sharkmaster 1000 in terms of size?

Too many influences in one watch IMO and the absolute deal breaker is the short minute hand. Great video!
Thanks man! Yeah, I imagined it would bother some people 😅.
Se puede comprar en Amazon
The "Vintage Series" on the dial is too much. Just the Ocean X would be much better in my opinion.
The text is a bit too much yes but overall it's a very clean dial, so I don't really mind it. Thanks for watching!
Today sep 2022, what do you think about it? Still working good? Any issues? Thank you
Hi Unai! Yes, still working flawlessly and I have no plans to sell it. I really like it a lot.
great video my friend! How much does the bracelet taper? from 21 to 18?
Thank you! Correct, from 21 to 18 and 20 for the clasp.
Look at the website for Nethuns watches. Very similar - as in brothers - similar.
Yes, they're are made in the same factory.
Not a fan of the snowflake hand.the sms611 has the Mercedes hour hand, might pick up a used one.
The sms611 looks stunning. I really like that it doesn't have crown guards.
Ah. You can see my watches here.
I watched a few already. You have some really nice pieces.
Awesome
Thanks!
I own that watch and All I can say is its too big at wrist, not that satisfied!
It's not a small watch for sure.
That depends on taste and your wrist measurements. For some it is small for some big.
