Fair play that’s really nice, makes me want to give up my T6 ! Although the edging strip around the near side rear window looks a bit skewiff and wonky !
Thanks for the comment! Pleased you like it.. plenty of our customers come up from Transporters, so maybe we can tempt you for a look in person?! As for the window trim, good spot! This van was 97% complete but was missing a few finishing touches, like the tambour door into the garage area, the table and that window trim which we apply a little heat to to allow the material to relax and smooth out. That said, it naturally relaxes with the heat from the vehicle over time so don’t worry, we got it (just not in time for the video!) 👍 Fancy a job in snagging? 😜

We can switch the fridge to whatever the customer needs. This is the joy of a conversion, we can simply work to your adjustments! The tanks are underneath and can be insulated on request 👍
Love the van but it would of been nice to have the overhead storage cupboards alot deeper as there is no hanging space, a storage locker the other side of the bed to so both people can store stuff but besides that lovely van
Thanks Rocky. It's always trying to find the 'optimum' working with a small space. The overhead lockers need to be usable, but if they're too big they made the van feel claustrophobic and you hit your head on them as you lean over, as the Crafter tapers toward the roofline making it a little trickier! We feel this is a good middle-ground, but will keep it in mind for when we have a layout overhaul :)
Great vid and van love most of design. Would love to see one with no oven, maybe induction hob so flush to work surface. Also, a more compact micro, convection, air cook appliance.. Does the faucet supply auto hot water? That would be fab too 😀
High quality work. Good understated design. Would it be possible to put that shower/loo in a standard VW camper? Would accept compromises eg no kitchen.
Hi there - thanks for the comment. I'm not sure I'm following, but we only build vehicles on a VW Crafter chassis, so regrettably not best placed to answer. Looks great, do you convert on crafter 4motion? Trying to work out if it’s possible on high roof or if the floor height difference means a super high is essential 🤔
Hi there! We convert on the FWD chassis only at the moment, as the 4motion and RWD variants add 100mm to the internal floor height for the extra running gear. Our conversions offer a generous space even for taller people, hence we don’t want to lose this. The super high roof is a fibreglass roof and not metal skinned, so it brings its own challenges for the items mounted up there. As a result we stick to the FWD and ‘standard’ issue high roof only for now.. let us know if you need any further info! :)
Thanks Mark. We’d have to take a look at the measured cubic load of your three bikes, but essentially the space under the bed is about 1770mm front to back and approx 780mm high. We’re told bikes fit with the wheel removed, so depends on the size of your kit in reality. The third berth is by means of a double passenger seat up front instead of the single passenger (it swivels) for travelling, and sleeps on the bench seat which is a good size made up and uses the driver seat as a foot extension. Hi Linda.. sorry for the delayed reply! RUclips isn’t showing our comments in order for some reason! We don’t fit a sink as standard, as the shower room is perfectly sized and a sink is just outside the door, but we appreciate some people may prefer a small corner sink in the room so it can be a no-cost option if required. 👍

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. Assume you mean ‘hanging’ space? We choose to maximise living space, but it’s all about compromise. The joy of a conversion is that if this is important to you, then of course we could look to build something in to suit your requirement. Hopefully you found something else in the video that you liked. 👍
@@ultravansuk Thank you for replying; I appreciate that. I understand about compromise; I have owned four motorhomes over 36 years. I suppose that the kind of clothes young people wear these days, especially when on leisure trips, means that hanging space is not considered so important. Yet few, if any, "off-the-peg" motorhomes don't offer a place to hand shirts, jackets etc. This would be essential for me. I did like a great deal about this van - a very great deal actually. It looks splendid. I recently sold my coach-built Swift, thinking I would not have another van - I am now 70 and my Swift required medicals to renew my licence. However, I miss it and was thinking of a compact van conversion, but I think the compromises are too much for me so if I did buy again it would have to be a coach-built albeit a little smaller than my Swift. I see no advantage in buying a panel van which is almost 7 metres long. I might just as well buy a coach-built. Ideally I would get someone to build a van designed solely for one person, with a fixed single bed, decent shower room and a dinette type table I could also use for working - oh, and a wardrobe of some sort. But the snag is it would have no resale value!! Anyway, sorry to write so much. My first comment was brusque, borne out of frustration at the absence of a wardrobe, but, that aside, it looks a great van. Thank you.
Thanks Alan. Sorry for the delay.. We’d prefer it elsewhere too.. alas in a tiny home options are limited for various reasons. An external electrician certifies these vans to this design, given RCD and other mitigations, but as soon as we find a usable alternative we’ll be taking it. 👍
We’ll have a better stab at getting the mix right next time Unplugged. If we can share any further media to help you see past my mug, only too happy to help.. 😊
You should hire a different videographer...too many close-ups, cannot really get a good feel for the interieur, dimensions etc.In the beginning (1min) you talk about different objects in the van but the camera is pointing at you...?
How about, when your telling us about the sockets, and reading lights in the front, why not turn the camera round and show us,instead of ,showing us your face, just a thought,😮
Hi there - pricing varies, based on a customer's appetite for options, new or used base vehicle, etc. That said, if you're in the market for a campervan and look around you'll see that we're actually on the lower end of the scale compared to most others with comparable spec and quality 👍
I don’t disagree with that Fergus! I’m no match for the beauty of the van. Get in touch and let us know which bits got cut in the edit that you’d like to see more of, and we’ll send something over for you that includes less of me.. 👍
Why not sack your cameraman ? Seeing the van would be a good idea instead of the presenter. Incredible. I hope your vans are better than your video making skills
Our cameraman is one of us. In other words, not a cameraman, not a RUclipsr and not a videographer. But we’ll stick to the van building and hope we make a better stab of that. 👍
Cheers Maddog. We did show it on camera, just later on in the video. Agree it didn’t line up with original voice over and should’ve done. It’s all in the edit and we’ll work harder on that next time! 👍

Thank you.
id suggest that your 240v socket is way too close to the sink/water, housing regulations would never allow it so close.
Thank you for showing the van. Although the shooting, in terms of perspective and layout, is terrible.
Best wishes.
really awesome...lgmario
Looks like a nice van. Unfortunately saw more of the commentator than the van.
We’ll have a better stab at getting the mix right next time Unplugged. If we can share any further media to help you see past my mug, only too happy to help.. 😊
Ooh yes let’s,😂
Would be great if the camera point at what you explain. camera man just focus on YOU.. He ore she could move the camera maybe--.
We'll try harder next time. Hopefully you found some bits of the video useful. Thanks!
How much for this van, 6k?
🙃🙂🙃 ⬆️
@@ultravansuk hummer, how much then?
You should hire a different videographer...too many close-ups, cannot really get a good feel for the interieur, dimensions etc.In the beginning (1min) you talk about different objects in the van but the camera is pointing at you...?
Thanks for the feedback, we’ll try harder next time. Was there anything you liked?
When you describe what's what of the interior at the beginning why not show it instead of a man in shot gesticulating.
We’ll try harder next time.
@@ultravansuk Thank you so much for responding. Other than that your video was great.
Keep it up guys. 🙏
frig so little...
We can fit a larger fridge if required - this one is medium sized!
How about, when your telling us about the sockets, and reading lights in the front, why not turn the camera round and show us,instead of ,showing us your face, just a thought,😮
Well give up RUclips and stick to van building then? Hopefully you got to see some of it..
Beautiful but...
£80,000...........Eighty Grand......kinell
Hi there - pricing varies, based on a customer's appetite for options, new or used base vehicle, etc. That said, if you're in the market for a campervan and look around you'll see that we're actually on the lower end of the scale compared to most others with comparable spec and quality 👍
Be nice to see more of the van & less of himself!
I don’t disagree with that Fergus! I’m no match for the beauty of the van.
Get in touch and let us know which bits got cut in the edit that you’d like to see more of, and we’ll send something over for you that includes less of me.. 👍
When your talking about the bed show what your talking about rather than you
We’ll try to do better next time.
Volkswagen products suck ass but this is a beautiful build!
You’re too kind.. although I’m not sure VW would agree. 😇
I don't want to watch the guy talking. I want to see the van
We'll try and do better on the next video.
holy feck man, when you discribe something show it on camara too for gods sake !!!!!!!!
Cheers Maddog. We did show it on camera, just later on in the video. Agree it didn’t line up with original voice over and should’ve done. It’s all in the edit and we’ll work harder on that next time! 👍
man, i can't believe you're talking about stuff but the camera is focused on you. Ha! Celebrity! But honestly interior looks like the luggage room at the airport. Bland as bland can get. Brown and off cream 1940s style. uugghh.
Thanks for the feedback! Always nice to meet a fan.. be boring if we all liked the same things though, yes?
Worst guided tour i have ever seen. Selfies are more important than the actual product .
Thank you. I guess we could just not upload anything, and then you wouldn’t have to see any of it. 👍
