- It's been a long time coming, but our Crafter is finally finished and ready to hit the road.
Massive thank you to Rhales conversions for their incredible work inside this.
We'd also like to thank trailer vision for supplying the brilliant camera system.
We still have a few more video's to come on the Crafter including a front / cab audio install. We'll do this showing the standard headunit and also with the new Alpine Halo 11 when they are back in stock.
Coming very soon are the new Crafter / Man TGE dynamic side repeaters. When we have these we'll do a video showing how to install them.
We are alway's working on new Crafter / Man TGE products and hope to so be able to office a full lowering suspension kit for Solow Suspension.

Great conversation. Not enough conversions for families with more than 4. The quality of the fit out and the thought of what is really necessary really shows. My ideal van that. Well done 👌
As much as we love the standard fixed double bed at the rear, this was always designed with family in mine. I'm rear pleased with how it turned out.
@@THQAutomotive the alternating bunk arrangement into a sofa is a great use of space. I would need some form of garage space also, so would be interesting to see if it could be lifted slightly to give some storage space? I guess you went through all these options👍🏼
@@savvysurveyor5318 Yes, under the back bunk is the A/C and heating. If you didn't have A/C or had roof mounted A/C and moved the heater, this would free up that space there as a small garage.
Struggled to find conversions for family of 5 as well. Vw or sprinter.
@@jankaskyevitchjellbet7293 it seems most companies go with the double bed at the back, set up. I've not seen many with space for children. Not 4 children anyway 😜

Fantastic van Andy it looks brilliant, if I had the space I would have bought new crafter. But my driveway wouldn't allow it .so I bought a brand new t6.1 swomper instead 👍

Beautiful van I love the new shape. Did you build the units? Does the air con only work on hook up and the cctv need a sim ?
RHales conversions built the units. Air con work off the batteries. No sim needed for the cctv. Just an SD card to store the files

Out of interest, do you have any rough dimensions of the Reimo seat both as a seat and as a bed? I’d like to model it up in sketchup!
From memory is 120cm wide and 6ft long
That looks so roomy. I'll be looking for a similar sized van for a music studio/gaming build. I've got some costing done and rough plans. Now it's time to look for remote jobs to get the ball rolling, get an RSA (Australia) so I have the option to work in pubs/bars, another option is fruit picking, etc.

Its mounted to the roof rack. The bed is a Reimo variotech.
The only thing missing is "School Bus" down the side! Only joking! It looks cool.
Was WAITING for SOMEONE to do the XLWB Model, I used to Drive Lorries [Class1] But we also had VW Vans the early LT35s XLWB Jeez the room in the back was HUUUGE And they NEVER Broke down. I;d like to see someone do the NEW Crafter XLWB DSG [8speed] And take it to DARKSIDE For a Mild Tune, Then do the Conversion [That is MY DREAM BUILD]. Best wishes on your success [South Wales].
Very nice work Andy. Who manufactures the 2nd row triple seat? Is there enough room for three teenagers to site side by side?
Reimo. Its slightly wider than a standard car rear seat. They do a wider version but this would block the entrance too much

Could the 3 bench rock and roll bed fit in the rear too but face the other way as in with the back against the side of the van making a 9 seater?
Not really. The Crafter isn't 6 ft wide and thats how long the bed is.
Love the conversion, buy the same van but as a man tge, do you have the link of the 2 swivels seats, I cant find them on google
As mentioned in the video, they don't have them on their website. Google R&J camper solutions. You'll need to call them up.
Love the “chill box”, and how coy the builder is. “Chill” is parent code for other activities, eh mate!? Just wondering how much washing and squeaking is going on during that time, and if the kids kids have clued in, or have told you that they already know what’s going on. Safe travels!

I’m looking at a van to use for some building work, then convert to a camper afterwards. An XLWB crafter has appeared, but I’m wary of the all up weight once done
Yes its over weight so had to be up rated
That's like Tesla cameras. I'd be tempted to powdercoat that side door runner black. If the sunstrip said Crafter HQ i'd order one. Significant difference in height for legs under the table! Love the colour so much. Very curious about the weight and water tanks.

No it's going to be over. We're in the process of changing the class now.

Not as yet but it's not done many miles so far.

We don't sell one for the Crafter but the T6 version is very easy to adapt. Its easy enough to see where when you go to fit it.
