No they just doing the route as a climb (although they are friends from Queenstown, you always seem to bump into people you know on these routes!) - always a big concern with skiing climbing lines is are you going to knock someone off on lead beneath you, but this line is perfect because it zig zags around the face so much your never really directly above anyone. I saw them just coming up over where my last rap was and hung out for about 20 minutes waiting for them to get to a safe spot and off lead before carrying on
