Also with Thrive Market you have to purshase $50 worth of pantry stuff for free shipping and for the freezer food you have to purshase $120 worth of stuff if you don't then you have to pay a $20 shipping fee!
I 100% agree with having to sign up just to look at their products that is absolutely stupid. However, I’m gonna have to keep shopping on thrive because I need to eat these healthier foods and be able to order it online because I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis so it’s very difficult for me to go to the store. Thanks for the review. When I can go to the store, it’s always Whole Foods and Costco
Yes, not being able to see the products is definitely inconvenient. But, glad you’ve had a positive experience with Thrive! Thank you for watching my video! 😊
In the same boat with you. Those who don't understand agony of Rheumatoid Disease, not being able to pick up a piece of paper, walk a few feet or know how the next day will be won't be able to comprehend destruction of one's life.
They literally have a 30 day free trial..so you can browse and place an order and completely test it out without paying..do more research before jumping to conclusions
Nice video. Short and to the point. Totally agree on the con of not being able to see items/price before committing. Absurd. Because of it, our family applied for a free membership and we just got it granted for a year! Another pro I would add is the extra thrive cash back on a lot of items, especially if you buy multiples. Don't agree with not all items are healthy being a con. All stores have unhealthy options, even whole foods or trader joe's.
thank you! I was wondering if Thrive was just over-hyped or even legit. I just got signed up after seeing this video (after reading other online reviews first). You really nailed all the questions I was wondering about as well. Thank you for your video and the way it was presented 👍 excellent job!
I signed up last summer and purchased the annual membership and its very useful due to my work schedule can get demanding in the spring and summer in my line of work. Love the snacks, gluten free pasta, kumbucha and taco seasoning. The grocery stores near my apartment is a crapshoot and "everything has to be picture perfect". Its mostly dollar and convience stores/gas stations and fast food inmy neighborhood. After the Lidl in walking distance from my place close over a year ago and the next closest location is at least 2 1/2 miles out. I initially had to make trips to the farmer's market (15 minutes on foot give or take) to get similar food but mostly expensive when I moved to my current place in 2010 which at the time I had to gravitate towards Family Dollar (just down the street from my place and has a high employee turnover) if I want something on the cheap and fast. If I want something healthy for the home and at a reasonable price, its Aldi, Lidl, Trader Joe's or use of grocery delivery services like Thrive or Imperfect Foods.
Great video!! Thank you so much. I appreciate your take on Thrive. I wanted to join but was annoyed at not being able to see the products and or if they'd even have what im looking for≥....in the end I chose not to join as I cannot verify the products im looking for. Thank you!
Yes, I would actually try it if they let me build at least one order seeing prices. I can usually get get clearances healthy foods at the grocery store when they mark them down, but I so hate not being able to look at least once at the prices.
I live around Whole Foods and 3 Sprouts markets. I'm very specific about additives, ingredients, etc. I think I'm gonna take a pass. I'm eating fresch organic veggies and some fruits. A little sprouted grain bread, eggs, some chicken, pork, red meat and a lot of fish. Whole food mediterranean style of eating that I can buy almost anywhere. Not a big snacker. Maybe make some air popped popcorn and Kerry Gold butter. Avocado and salsa etc. No sugar. Thanks for helping me save $60. Love ya. ❤❤
Haha it just hit me that even if things are “cheaper” on Thrive you’re still paying the same amount you would in store or delivered like Instacart bc those don’t require to pay for a membership. So it’s like that technically goes to the extra amount that is “more expensive” elsewhere. Well played Thrive, well played.
Nice review. I am trying it for the first time even though I live in an area with healthy grocery stores. I'm just not as mobile as I used to be but want to keep eating healthy so trying them out.
I don't drive and I have mobility issues. Our local bus service has stopped operating at all on weekends. I signed up for Thrive because they deliver and they take EBT.
Hi and thank you for your great review. I haven't tried Thrive Market yet. I'm still wondering if they have products I'd like to purchase. However, thank you for sharing 😊😊❤
I think by comparing Thrive to ALDI you are missing the point of time saved by not having to go to the physical store and having to search for your items and wait to check out.
I belonged to Thrive for a few years but recently canceled. I found myself ordering things I wouldn’t usually buy like in a regular grocery trip. I think you’re absolutely right as Thrive being a great option if you have limited grocery store opinions
High Five Priscilla! Hey, did you know that you can tell a lot about a person by what they eat? I feel like we could knock some socks and be cool with each other because I eat similar to you. Would one want to live with someone who ate pizza and sugary cereal all day? I would not.
It annoys me that I cannot price compare without joining. Whether it is a rip off depends on your needs, for some time or mobility or transportation is the reason they join so it is person dependent issue. I wonder how it compares to other food delivery or even Kroger/Walmart with a person picking up the order for you. The only online food service is something that is bulk Honeywell (vital wheat gluten for seitan) or Public Goods. Have you tried Public Goods? Thank you so much for the video and doing the math.
Why can’t Healthy Food subscriptions like Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, Factor etc be more like Thrive Market? Instead of charging weekly, they should charge a month or yearly with cheep prices like $12 a month or $5 a month yearly
Wal-Mart will delivery. Many items that need to be shipped are free shipping. The grocery items are delivered free if the total is over 35 dollars. Yes the yearly membership fee is about 100.00 so depending on your needs it can be a big savings and helpful if you have mobility issues. And you can get paramount plus to stream.
@@moneywithpriscilla I do not like the part I cannot see what I want if I do not pay first? and I give them 12.00 and I still have to pay for what I want? just not sure LOL!!
I was a little nervous about getting their fresh items, although the reviews on those are mostly positive. But I have since tried their frozen items and they are good!
Wheather it's a good product or not. I'm not a fan of content creators using click baiting to grab peoples attention. Using thumbnails that give the impression that it's a scam, when it's actually a push to sell a product. Just because it works and a lot of creators do it, doesn't make it right. Always being straight-up honest with buyers will keep they're trust and loyalty. Just sayin.
The thumbnail poses the question on whether it’s a scam and I also say in my intro I’m looking to see if it’s a rip off, which I then present my analysis on. I don’t see how posing a question is dishonest. Hope you can find the content you’re looking for!
You sound dumb. Did you watch the whole video??? What the heck is wrong with her thumbnail when she is clearly evaluating a service to see if it’s worth buying?? If you have nothing nice to say (or common sense from what I see) then don’t comment at all. Good day!
Yes they take food stamps. I just ordered a box today with taco seasoning, granola bars and some organic lentils to make my loaded vegan sweet potatoes. It's going to be great!
Thrive is horrible, they are behind the times, with today's inflation they should not be charging any membership fee they should want to sell their product to whoever wants to buy it it's a stupid plan they think they're making extra money but they would actually be getting more customers if they didn't have a membership fee it's ridiculous; and their products are overpriced for smaller portions. Their name is an oxymoron. You can't thrive at their prices.
no it's not lol If I have a membership at a store and it tells me i can share a referral code so the next person can get a discount and myself a discount then why would i not share it? You can cancel the membership anytime at thrive so why would they share referral code instead of cancelling it?
Wow!! What a limited mindset you have to seek to understand how referral codes work when you get access to a membership account! You're missing out on a LOT of savings.
It’s not a sponsorship! Even when you shop online you get referral codes to share with friends. And she never said in the video that Thrive is great and to go sign up, she gave pros and cons and said do what is best for you. (Great review by the way) You must not had watched the whole video you just clicked and checked for a referral code. No time to watch the video but enough time to make a ignorant comment. Good day!
If you're not sponsored why do you have a referral code 40%? come on now you need to listen to your own video sweetheart something don't sound right to me.
Did you actually watch the whole video? A referral code isn’t a sponsorship, those are two very different things. I gave an accurate breakdown of Thrive and it’s services and paid for everything on my own. If you don’t want to try Thrive or think it’s not right for you, you simply don’t have to use the code.
Sponsored or not you gave a very good review, and you touched on all the points, membership, price comparison, cons, etc..after clicking on and skipping through three other reviewers who just wanted to act for the camera, I appreciated your wholesome approach and got the information I was looking for in a review, Thank you ! 🙂
Thank you. This was a great informative video. I was considering going to Thrive because I've had so many RUclipsrs talking about how great it it. I'm still not sure if I'll do a membership or not.
Appreciate the video and price comparisons. It looks like if you ordered once a month you might be even with their monthly subscription cost but if you order huge orders or 2-3 times a month saves more money. I bet many do the $12/mo to see how they like it and forget to cancel or cancel upgrade to yearly. If you paid yearly and tried it once and realized the time it takes to get stuff, cost of shipping maybe or damaged goods etc you definitely lose with this.
Absolute best review video of Thrive Market. I watched others, and this one answered all of my questions. I love the price comparison and the honest opinion versus the bubbly "oh my gosh, Thrive is so great" opinions from other videos. I think I'm going to give Thrive a chance.
