I was there when he was traded. It was the 2/9/04 edition Monday Night Raw.
Still got my Bonzi Wells sac 42 jersey somewhere.
Then Sheed was traded again to Detroit after playing just one game for the Hawks. That year the Pistons won the chip.
Bonz was traded to the Grizzlies for Wesley Person and a future 1st round pick. Bonz was playing well for the Grizzlies the remainder for the season. Until the next following season when the Grizzlies brought Mike Fratello over as coach that season. Dumb move as Fratello had to fxxk with Bonz. Fratello was about acerbic as George Karl as he just had a talent for respect for players.
My favorite Rasheed moment is when he found out about the dirty refs. I KNEW IT! 😂😂😂😂
