Thanks 4 the video, This product showed up on my Amazon Prime App, I don't know why But I was just curious as to what applications it would be good for, Good job on this video 👍
Glad I could help
It seems pretty hard to peel the red side off. It is hard to get it started. Have you run into that issue?
I have to agree with you.. you need some good nails to get under that red strip and peel it.
Yes, very difficult. I had to use a tweezers on the microscopic piece of the red tape that flipped up. Eventually got it, but not easy at all.
Yes, I used a sewing needle to assist by slowly lifting l the adhesive and the red tape cover at the edge. Very annoying but it works.
@@candi00793 thank for the hack :D
Came just fot that and didn't find the answer 😢
Hey,
Can you provide the name, and model, and brand, from the camera you install in the car?
Thanks
Gall I looked this up because I could not remove that red backing, I thought I was doing something wrong. WTF. Keep touching it, diggint at the edge but its like its already glued to it or something.
Would this work on rocky concrete surfaces
I plan to use Scotch Mount "Outdoor" type to stick the license plate on my car. Where I live, It reaches 120 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm losing the plate, aren't I? 😂
Do you know if this drys up or loses its power after opening and not using
I used some like 3 months ago
And I put it away
Today I cut some more and tried to use it and it didn’t seem to be sticky any more
Funny enough, I didn't used that roll since I made the video and now that I checked it, it seems to not have lost its stickiness (maybe just the tip where it got cut).
Literally used a exacto knife to get under the red part and still cant get it off
If you want to take it off, will it come off easily or will it leave parts behind?
Is starting fluid to loosen the adhesive, it won’t peel anything but will leave a middle residue you can scrape with a razor blade
Hello, thank you for the video but you are doing a tutorial on a 15 kg extreme tape and you stick a 100 gram license plate!!
What interest? then you stick a new dashcam that weighs practically nothing.....
The goal was to show us the strength and resistance of the tape on a weight of 15 KG. I think you wasted your time and ours too. Best regards
This product doesn’t work at all. Maybe they’ve changed the recipe but when you first peel it, it doesn’t stick to your finger whatsoever. Returning it to Home Depot immediately and getting something else.
Terrible product. The red liner does not release. Don’t buy this junk.
I must agree that it’s hard to peel off but once you do it it sticks very well. Do you have another tape to recommend instead?
