I'm getting the same message but for drawing a section... all my section lines get sent to another floor plan and i can't see the section what is the solution?
I have the same problem but with duct , there is no depth or height option , and I have tried the viability graphics but it is already checked , what is the solution?
The created element is not visible the current view. so, Revit is giving a warning message. Check the visibility settings / View properties of a current view. Or Go to 3d view and check the element.

Check plan view properties. It should be same as section view properties

Check other view parameters. Discipline, phase all view property and reveal hidden items

Did you import in a floor plan or in a 3d view?
It's showing the same problem while importing cad file ..unable to fix it!
Easy, just check workplane while importing. Then check Visibility Graphics settings.
Otherwise simplify the CAD file. Then try again
