He makes it look easy, but he spends hours making these videos, and he does the research so we don't have to! I wish I had the talent to make videos. I have videos of my animals being cute, but I'll _never_ show myself in my videos! I don't want to frighten children with my "Baba Yaga" looks. It's not easy being as natural as Matt is, while being adorably funny too. There are similar channels, but I haven't found any as good as his.
Where in heck do people find all these clean, organized, well stocked, Dollar Trees? On three separate occasions I went to the two DTs in Concord, NH and they both looked like a tornado swept through on ALL 3 visits. I'm talking merch on the floors, cartons stacked & in the aisles, not just one or two, either. Peg racks empty or totally mixed merch. Floors filthy (no, the weather wasn't bad). I live out in the sticks so trips into cities are rare & far between & just not set up to check out DT in multiple cities. Admitting I'm jealous!
Wow, NH sounds like the same situation we have in our small S. California desert town. We have ONE DT, and it is always half-empty and in disarray. One has to pass by the one or two homeless folks who sit outside the DT. I always tuck one dollar bills in various pockets when I know I'm going there to give out, but mostly I make sure to look them in the eyes, smile and just say "hello" at the very least. They are usually elderly, as in at least 70. My heart hurts for them, but I'm struggling to live on social security too. It costs so little to be kind, but I've never regretted it. But for the Grace of God, that could be me. A big reason why I love Dollar Tree! I can afford a few things!
@@Jeanette888 Honestly, they're not paid enough TO care and they ALWAYS have to work short staffed as sometimes HQ doesn't allow them to replace somebody who leaves. Maintaining low labor costs is part of their business model 😆. My niece worked in one during college and didn't last long. She quit and went to work at Hy-Vee.

My two stores vary in size and how they are set up - the smaller one always have shelves that are mostly messy! The other larger one is better and cleaner! But they can carry different products - so,e. Art shows don’t show up at all!
Our plumber said to stay away from dishwasher pods as the outer casing doesn’t always fully melt and can give you a costly repair bill. We use the Cascade gel from Family Dollar.
Mine said the same thing. I just got a new dishwasher after the one I've had since we built the house 23 years ago died. He also said they can cause putting on metal things too.
Iv heard the liquid isn't very good for the dishwasher. When we bought our new dishwasher, the recommended powder only to extend the life of our dishwasher.
yea i saw the color changing bulbs and baught few but diddent know how well they would work and diddent have lots money and then someoen baught them all up.
Those cup caddies are great when you have people doing yard work and you are taking them water. They also hold cups outside. -Save your dollar on that avocado thing. Just use a knife to cut it in half and a spoon to remove the pit and the flesh. A grapefruit spoon is even better. Give me something to do with that thing. -the rotary cutter in the crafter section is a good item too. -the pumpkin exfoliation isn’t about the smell. The enzyme in pumpkin does the exfoliating. -that magnet is a great gift for people who sew. Use it to pick up/ find dropped needles and pins. -that vacuum would also make a great gift for cleaning up threads. And for crafter to help with cleaning up glitter and other “dust”.
Hello. The jars with the stainless steel lids are AWESOME! I bought over 20 jars so far. I filled them with lots of food items such as pasta, flour, sugar, tea bags, water flavor pouches, candies for baking, cookies, crackers and more. They look so good on our counter under the cabinets- freeing up indoor cabinet space. I will add DT chalkboard labels soon. You can stack the smaller jar on top of the larger one if you're careful. I wanted the dishwashing pods and when I found them I added several to my basket. I decided to take a peek at them and discovered all the gel was gone in them! You can see where it was but they are all dry. I put them back because I wasn’t sure if they were old or not. I’ll keep looking for them and encourage everyone to take a glance at them before purchasing.
I'm an avid gardener, and I'm always looking for the best garden finds. Every spring, dollar tree has the best-ever plastic plant drip trays with wheels! They're the best in terms of price and functionality. They come in limited colors though. I love many amazing garden items from dollar tree.
I was sad that my DT didn't have any hummingbird feeders this year! I like to buy several when they do. I feed hummingbirds all year around here in SoCal and they must be cheeping about it to the other hummers. Sometimes I see about 2 dozen tiny flying jewels buzzing around, and that makes me so happy!
I noticed the pop up hamper from Dollar Tree had a side pocket. That's great if live in an apartment and want to bring coins, or a laundry card, or dryer sheets down with your laundry. The Amazon brand one, while slightly larger, did not have a pocket.

The ONLY car made in the USA is the Tesla, pretty much everything else is imported and will have a _minimum_ of 20% total price added to it. That $50,000 car will cost an extra $10,000 because of tariffs. I predict the price of used cars will also go up, because of increased demand.🤨😒
I bought the little vacuum. It does really good for what it is. I love the shammy. I cut them up for dish cloths. The dry quickly and never stink.😁 Thanks for all you do.💙
Great video that shows many new items I didn’t know existed before! Those silicone utensil rests at dollar tree can be used countless ways making them almost worth their weight in gold imo. Obviously they are great while cooking but are perfect for when icing a cake and you don’t want the different spoons or piping tips to touch one another during to different coloured icings or fillings or etc. Perfect for working with any kind of dye or ink tools or colour mixing and they do not stain! Paint brushes, makeup brushes. They work great as a phone or tech charging stand, cord organizer. Works great as a phone stand especially in the kitchen or bathroom where the counter tops can have previously unknown puddles of water. Love using these to rest hot tools for your hair on. Probably my all time outta the box use is a glue gun rest as it keeps the tip pointed slightly up and any melted glue leakage simply pulls right up or wipes right off once it’s cooled. I’ll stop now lol but still have many other uses for around the home, garage and travel. Great list of dupes comparing Dollar Tree and Amazon, significant savings for most things you featured. The Dollar Tree glass storage containers are really good for smaller quantities and I use them often for storing supplies for baking and cooking. We avoid using plastics for anything we heat so we buy glass lids at the thrift store to cover our things for the microwave, they don't emit plastic on your food when heated, are very affordable and wash up easily. The Zoid cutters are a good deal at Dollar Tree but I couldn't find that they sold the replacement blades.
The AXE car air vent fresheners at DT for $1.25 are being sold all over the internet for 3 to 5 dollars each and that was even before they hit DT. Same exact brand, product and scent.
My son loves the dishwasher pods. He said they're the same as cascade. Maybe a bit older or they could be cascade seconds that are good but don't pass inspection.
The magnetic pickup tool is one of my favorite garage tools, When you work on engines and you drop a nut, bolt or tool into the engine compartment, it falls to an area you can not get your hand into, the tool makes it easy and keeps your blood pressure under control.
You are so correct. Resellers hit DT and when they find the new products on the shelves they buy all of them. Then list them on amazon and eBay. I can never find any of these products. I have been looking for the dishwasher tabs for months. I have 5 stores close by and none ever have any of the items I see people haul.

When my teens were babies, we cloth diapered and we made our own cloth diapers and the innermost layer was made of dollar tree sham wows. Those things never leaked!
Great idea, wished I knew years ago!!! But shammo was not invented 50yrs ago, I had to use liners. Bet you can't get liners now, no one uses cloth diapers. I had to cuz my kids were too sensitive to disposable diapers, they were new on market, not good like now.
Matt, I’m still on my cruise. Left Barcelona and on our way to Canary Islands. Can’t miss your episode. We are using the DT collapsible laundry basket on this cruise. I also buy laundry sheets for simple rinses. Lots of DT purchases for this trip.
These are great deals. Too bad I have never seen but maybe 10% of them. I went to the DT yesterday and couldn't even see most of the shelves because of all the stock in the aisle. I love the glass jars and made a Hot Chocolate Coffee and Tea Stations for my Dr.s Off ice with all kind of good stuff in my jars...They all love them and no more running to Starbucks,,,I love all the cleaning supplies, and the dishwasher tablet works just fine for me.. I also use the small Clprox Tablets in my dishwasher too they work amazingly everywhere in my house. I first found them when we all were in Covid. I bought them first at Walmart. I get the differant size containers from D.T. Cook a large meal. Divide all into differant size serving portions. And freeze them. If I don't feel like cooking, just take out enough for each person😮. When it was just me, I used the tony one cup containers to freeze milk, only wanted it for coffee. And none went bad. Thanks Deal Guy, I really like your Videos and $.T. I noticed a feature of the Dollar Tree pizza container that makes it better than the Amazon one. The DT container has ridges at the bottom where the crust sits, and those ridges help prevent your slice from getting soggy. Yay DT!
The moisture absorbers are great for RVs as moisture, especially in closets is a common problem. Glad to see that bowl covers now are made of silicone.

i appreciate you actually buying and showing the comparable product/comparison. it’s one thing to show the dollar tree product but without a comparison it’s hard to gauge if you’re getting a good deal. i’ve found some great things at the dollar stores in my area but now i’m going to start going more often.

Very true that Amazon charges more on most similar products than Dollar Tree, but one of the reasons is that Amazon pays for delivery (with Primed) and not all Dollar Trees are as nice as the one you use, so Amazon or Walmart remains the only option.

I have that Zoid Rotary Cutter and it’s fabulous. It’s sharp and cuts perfect. I bought mine a couple months ago at Dollar Tree. I cut a lot of fabric so I stocked up. lol

Great list of dupes comparing Dollar Tree and Amazon, significant savings for most things you featured. The Dollar Tree glass storage containers are really good for smaller quantities and I use them often for storing supplies for baking and cooking. We avoid using plastics for anything we heat so we buy glass lids at the thrift store to cover our things for the microwave, they don't emit plastic on your food when heated, are very affordable and wash up easily. The Zoid cutters are a good deal at Dollar Tree but I couldn't find that they sold the replacement blades.
Matt, I'd love to see you do more videos like this and keep Amazon in line!

The AXE car air vent fresheners at DT for $1.25 are being sold all over the internet for 3 to 5 dollars each and that was even before they hit DT. Same exact brand, product and scent.

My son loves the dishwasher pods. He said they're the same as cascade. Maybe a bit older or they could be cascade seconds that are good but don't pass inspection.
The magnetic pickup tool is one of my favorite garage tools, When you work on engines and you drop a nut, bolt or tool into the engine compartment, it falls to an area you can not get your hand into, the tool makes it easy and keeps your blood pressure under control.
I use the moisture absorbing boxes from Dollar Tree in my closets and other places where moisture tends to hide. They work great!

I think these videos are further proof that some savvy people purchase items at dollar stores and then resell them at a higher price on Amazon.
You are so correct. Resellers hit DT and when they find the new products on the shelves they buy all of them. Then list them on amazon and eBay. I can never find any of these products. I have been looking for the dishwasher tabs for months. I have 5 stores close by and none ever have any of the items I see people haul.

When my teens were babies, we cloth diapered and we made our own cloth diapers and the innermost layer was made of dollar tree sham wows. Those things never leaked!

Great idea, wished I knew years ago!!! But shammo was not invented 50yrs ago, I had to use liners. Bet you can't get liners now, no one uses cloth diapers. I had to cuz my kids were too sensitive to disposable diapers, they were new on market, not good like now.

Matt, I’m still on my cruise. Left Barcelona and on our way to Canary Islands. Can’t miss your episode. We are using the DT collapsible laundry basket on this cruise. I also buy laundry sheets for simple rinses. Lots of DT purchases for this trip.
These are great deals. Too bad I have never seen but maybe 10% of them. I went to the DT yesterday and couldn't even see most of the shelves because of all the stock in the aisle. Thanks for the video Matt, I love $ Tree products/dupes and love your videos! I bought one of the facial washes that was a dupe of an expensive one that you showed us in one of your videos, and love the way it cleans, feels and moisturizes.
I love the glass jars and made a Hot Chocolate Coffee and Tea Stations for my Dr.s Off ice with all kind of good stuff in my jars...They all love them and no more running to Starbucks,,,I love all the cleaning supplies, and the dishwasher tablet works just fine for me.. I also use the small Clprox Tablets in my dishwasher too they work amazingly everywhere in my house. I first found them when we all were in Covid. I bought them first at Walmart. The magnet is amazing I will pick up a few of them and put them everywhere. Great Job here Matt. I loved this Video and all of your hard work...

I get the differant size containers from D.T. Cook a large meal. Divide all into differant size serving portions. And freeze them. If I don't feel like cooking, just take out enough for each person😮. When it was just me, I used the tony one cup containers to freeze milk, only wanted it for coffee. And none went bad. Thanks Deal Guy, I really like your Videos and $.T. Mainly stocking stuffers 🤭 I did buy the plastic grater as our metal one was rusted out after 27 years of marriage and use! I noticed a feature of the Dollar Tree pizza container that makes it better than the Amazon one. The DT container has ridges at the bottom where the crust sits, and those ridges help prevent your slice from getting soggy. Yay DT!

i appreciate you actually buying and showing the comparable product/comparison. it’s one thing to show the dollar tree product but without a comparison it’s hard to gauge if you’re getting a good deal. i’ve found some great things at the dollar stores in my area but now i’m going to start going more often.

The stackable wine holders are great for storing insulated bottles too.
Very true that Amazon charges more on most similar products than Dollar Tree, but one of the reasons is that Amazon pays for delivery (with Primed) and not all Dollar Trees are as nice as the one you use, so Amazon or Walmart remains the only option.

I have that Zoid Rotary Cutter and it’s fabulous. It’s sharp and cuts perfect. I bought mine a couple months ago at Dollar Tree. I cut a lot of fabric so I stocked up. lol
I would love to know what Dollar Tree you are shopping at. It must be near their corporate office. The ones in my area never have this cool stuff and the shelves are mostly empty every time I go there.
They have these here in Northern Virginia. But each one is operated differently.
