- In this video we'll look at the global sales of all iPhone models in order to see how they performed in comparison to each other. I include unit sales from the first iPhone in 2007 to the latest, iPhone 11. The popularity is based on unit sales not on how units are currently in use. I also include some quick info for the first few models to keep you entertained.

I wish Apple can innovate again but it seems to rip off other brands. Not saying they are trash I still own Apple cause of iMessage and FaceTime but when was the last time something new came out from Apple. The only thing that differs from older generations is camera quality and a slight battery improvement when they can do more
Rohan Patel what a genuinely fucking stupid comment. You expect them to innovative with alien technology every year or something? No company innovates often, and if they do then it’s not even innovation. It’s just random useless features that never get used. Remember when iPhone X was the worlds first phone to bring 3D facial mapping to a phone? How they had the smallest bezels in the world excluding the notch due to them wrapping the OLED screen under the phone? How the 11 pro is the only mainstream smartphone in the world to be IP 68 for 4m instead of 2m. It was easy to innovate back in 2010 but now it’s just about perfecting the phone, not just “innovating” and creating random useless features that get dropped the year after since no one used them. Also the iPhone 12 is about to have the first ever 5nm chip which is an incredible feat and “revolutionary”. Not to mention how revolutionary the Apple Watch was and is with its fall detection that has literally saved lives. Apple will innovate again when Apple glasses come out and don’t flop life google glasses

For me the best iPhone ever made was 4S.
It has the best design, great weight, feels premium, better buttons than on newer iPhones and it was powerful enough back in 2012.
I’d say it was better than iPhone 5 due to a more premium chassis and look.
5S is just the same but better.
I threw a 4S out of the window from my classroom, like 10 meters down and 30 straight forward, it survived. Thing is built different

More like sales. Back then, the 4 was so revolutionary and new, it was pretty much the 11 of that era. I don’t think many people use the 4 today as much as the 11, but the 4 sold more. Most of those sales of the 4 are probably damaged, thrown away, or forgotten.

I love how people realized the iPhone 7 was literally no different then 6 and 6S except no headphone jack and like nobody bought it at first.
It ended up being a massive upgrade in the long run though. It introduced the dual camera setup, the haptic home button and it was much faster with upgraded base storage. The 7 Plus is still my favorite iPhone I ever owned.

I had my rose gold 6s+ then i sold it to someone then i bought the red 7+ in April 2017 and it became my fav yet.
I mean the haptic home button,stereo speakers,the dual cam set up,the portrait mode still can level up with newer ones.
It still runs fast,currently running ios 10.2.1 which i haven't updated yet and i have decided not to ios 13.
But people who don’t upgrade every model and only every other model bought it. I went from having an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 7. And I went from having an iPhone 7 to an iPhone XR
My favorite iPhone of all time is the iPhone 6s, that iPhone was perfect, battery life was horrible, but aside from that, everything else was awesome, i loved 3D touch, to bad its gone now.

Samvedh basically there are still a lot of people using and even reselling iphone5s. That’s where you can see Apple quality. But if you were to buy today its better for you to buy iphone6s/6s plus models or newer. Most of apples recent updates such as ios version and compatibility now just supports iphone 6s/6s plus or later. As an iphone 6s plus user, it is still very good given that it was released in 2015 and still supports apples recent updates/ios versions. But if you have the budget i suggest you should go to much newer devices such as iphone7 or 8 since you are just going to buy it and i’ve already had my 6s plus for 2 years.

For the design and comfort of use, the Slate-colored iPhone 5 is my favorite. For the display and its performance though, i love the iPhone X (my phone since 2019)
I had the IPhone SE from 2016 all the way to spring this year (2021) and I loved it! But of course it got old and now I’m super happy with my IPhone 11 in Mint color and my grandpa is very happy with his ‘new’ IPhone SE 😄

The battery on it feels insane compared to my old 6s, if I don’t use it constantly I can get away with charging every other night. Looking at it now I would have probably just gotten the regular 12 or the SE2. My mom just got an SE2 and she’s really happy, it seems like a good deal, assuming they will update it for as long as they supported the 6s
I was expecting for the iPhone 6 to be the top seller, back when I was working for a repair smartphone shop, we used to have a whole container of iPhone 6 and 6 pluses jus for parts, and changing like 40-50 screens and batteries per day for those bad boys
I had the iPhone 5c, it was so slow and had about 8 gb of storage. I had the green one. I got the 8 plus for Christmas after like two or three years because it stopped receiving updates lol
