    Any chance of making a part list of the parts you used to make your fuel setup? Would be interested in making my own to save some money.

      That's a great idea! I don't know why I didn't think to do that before. The line count won't be exact but I can at least post up what I ordered. I'll get that knocked out either tonight or tomorrow afternoon and update the description. I'll post up here too once it's done so you know. 👍

      Description has been updated with fitting count, line ordered, etc. 🙂👍🍻

    I use cheap chinese diamond cutting discs off the 'bay on my dremmel for lines. Stick line in the vice, steady cut, takes a minute.

    Awesome video man! I love your attitude towards “sweat equity” as you put it.

    All about that sweat equity! LOL dude....we're doing the same thing currently, and pretty sure we're using the same fuel line + fitting guy (Guy out of Colorado), I've got plenty of battle scars already and I'm only 2 feed lines in lol. Good vid, I may redo the fittings since i used a cutter, I like the hacksaw method and for peace of mind I'll redo them, I have enough slack I believe (hope). Seems like quality lines though, can't beat the pricing! Good luck on the rest of the system! -Rich

      The sweat equity definitely helps bring the overall price of things down. Lol You're using Frozenboost out of the Springs? It would be worth pressure testing the lines you've already made to make sure they don't leak. The biggest problem with the tube cutters is that once the line fish eyes it becomes incredibly difficult to get the brass insert between the teflon and braids without gouging anything. If they test good and don't leak, you should be fine running them. No sense in wasting line if you can avoid it. 🙂👍

      2JZ Addict Yeah I ordered from AN Fittings Direct, which I believe is the same guy based in the Springs. Either way the line and fittings are he exact same that you’re using. Lol. I’ll most likely test the lines I already made, only bummer is I only have a pressure test kit for my -6 return since the -8 pressure test kits were out of stock. If you end up back there and see any -8 pressure test kits please let me know!! I’ll for sure switch methods, I spent way too much time cleaning up the cuts to make it acceptable before putting the collar in. 👍

      Yeah, it must be the same folks. I think they go by "Silicone Intake Systems" too if I remember right. The Frozenboost site was out of stock too for the 8AN tester. Lol I'll definitely keep an eye out for you though. 🍻

    Nice work!!! I got dual 450’s in my tank.....they were no fun to get past the fuel hat!!!

    • @2JZAddict
      @2JZAddict  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! You're 100% right. Trying to stuff dual pumps through that hole is rough! I remember doing the 044's and ended up attaching the second pump to the hanger after getting the first one into the tank. Haha This was much easier!!

    hey 2jz addict, question: what's those two boxes after the post filter and before the y split ? I want to use a mechanical fuel pump setup as well so this will greatly help man. Appreciate it!

    • @2JZAddict
      @2JZAddict  4 года назад

      That’s a union that attaches the post pump filter and y-fitting. I can’t post pictures in the reply but if you search Jegs for p/n: 555-110324 it will come right up. It’s sometimes called a swivel coupler or female/female union.

    Amazing channel keep the great videos coming.
    I just bought the PHR mechanical fuel pump bracket with the waterman pump, and I already got the dual bosho fuel pump setup from PHR.
    Am going to disconnect one pump and do an all new line for the mechanical pump

      Thanks man! I’m glad you like the videos! Sounds like we’ve both got nearly identical progression in fuel setups. Lol What all do you have left to do on yours?

      @@2JZAddict yeah I was surprised when I saw your video lol. I just finished assembling my short block, and now I'm in the progress of checking the clearance of the camshaft before installing the head on the block. It will take some time to finish the whole build

      Nice! That sounds like a great project! Better to take your time and do it right the first time for sure. What are the specs on the motor? It would be kinda funny if those were the same too. Haha 🍻

      Haha - there’s so much of that I could go right back into today without missing a beat. Lol I was working for Tesla until then laid me off a few months ago. I’m currently looking for a new gig, preferably in aviation. It’s been super hard to get into that though without an A&P Cert. 😬 What is it you do?
