Whoa the Manon DR, Chun does a lv 1 in response, and Manon does EX hit grab to go through it. Sick. Didn't know that worked.
Chun li's LV1 doesn't have invincibility at start up i think. That's why she sets herself up if she tries countering jump ins with it, Unlike USF4 where kikosho was a deadly invincible anti-air tornado against literally anything, here it's just a stale fireball. Also other lv1s and even lv2s don't have invincibility
For example, ken can be countered with a drive impact even if he used his lv2 as a rehearsal,while cammy can break through no matter which LV she used. It's really inconsistent with every character.
Oh wait nvm, ALL lVs break drive impact.
@@yeetvocals3786i think manon EX hit grab is just invulnerable until after the first active frame. pretty sure chun's level 1 is invincible. also all supers break DI regardless if they are invincible provided you do your super soon enough. even 1 hit supers like ken's lvl 1.
@@sighyawn6378 yeah yeah ik about the LV1s, But Chun-li still takes a massive risk anti airing with kikosho and it's kinda annoying that she still gets hit.
@@yeetvocals3786 i would just use her other anti airs like mk and hk because they lead to some chunky damage for no meter. chun lvl 1 just isnt a good anti air.

I feel like they have negative edge on and as soon as they press forward to release it then press back to charge the next. Its crazy
Also, 1 thing nobody told me, you can only throw a kikoken when there's none on the screen. You need to wait for it to be blocked, or to disapear by itself ;)
I heard if ur chun li and run away you can fireball every 2 steps
