Super fast charging requires 25 watts which is only available when cabled. Fast wireless charging is 15 watts.

@@StefanVanya in a word: Marketing. I don't think they are deliberately trying to deceive. In 2022/3 super fast is 25w. Maybe it was super fast for the S20 or earlier version.
Hi. The description on the box maybe not clear. So I’ll explain. The last generation of far wireless charging maxed out at 12 watt max output. The new generation of wireless charging maxes out at 15 watt so they have named it super fast wireless charging. It will charge you phone 3watt faster which is an improvement. But you won’t see the super fast charging symbol in your phone. As only wired fast chargers can do that. Hopefully that clears it up for you🙌

anker power supply doesn't match Samsung capacity wise, I learned the hard way
dude if you even put a 200W charging adapter, it will still charge at max 15W, which it will sustain only for first 15 mins or so, as temperature rises and battery becomes hot, it will drop down and will charge at around 10W to 12W, finally dropping to around 8W!
I just got this it said 3 hours to charge my phone. I unplugged it and just charged my phone regularly. Waste of money

Mine just came today. I ordered it with the travel adapter. (Edit-the Samsung travel adapter has "super fast charging " stamped on it and my s22 U gave same results as you got re: plugged directly into adapter saying super fast or using the wireless and it saying just fast

maximum wireless charging capacity for s22 variants is 15W aka(fast charging level) and the wireless charger also max output is 15W. So we can't get any more juice out when we increase the capacity of charger.

You need Samsungs 25watt Super Fast Charger block, from what ive seen this specific charger requires the Samsung block too work right and too last longer

The only bad thing is that the user can not turn on or off cooler. At slow charging smartphone, it heats up to 39-40C.

wireless charging is a lot less efficient than wired charging. the pad takes max 25W input (9V*2.77A). the max output that reaches the phone is 15W. some of the rest goes to the cooling fan, and some of it is wasted as heat because of wireless inefficiency.
It can only do max 20 W input actually.

Anyone know how to get the fan in this thing to run? I assumed it would run automatically to cool my devices as they charged, similar to a laptop cooling pad, but not so, and my S22 Ultra was very warm after being charged with this charger.

I didn't give you a thumbs down. It's towards Samsung. I have an S22. When I purchased my phone from Samsung in November 2022 . They sent me that exact charger and it's NEVER charged my phone. That tiny ledge doesn't let my phone lay flat to charge. I've called Samsung and itc was like talking to the man on the moon. I had a difficult time understanding each customer service rep. I'm not holding that against someone from a foreign country. Samsung never could fix the issue. I did fully charge it. I finally gave up and put it away. Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you in advance !

No it only works when its plugged in.
Any wireless charger device that is not a Samsung will only charging as fast as 10W for a Samsung smartphone such as S22 Ultra, no matter how many Watt it capable of delivery. Unless you buy a Samsung one, now you can have a full pack of 15W.
Will the induction charger destroy the battery faster than the traditional charger in the S22 ultra ?

Marek .... If you want to keep the phone for 2 years, then no problem. If you buy a phone for 1000 euros, I assume that you won't buy another one after 2 years. I've had it for about 4 years and charge at 1A and my battery capacity is 94% after 3 years. Hot not only affects battery, it also affects components, no matter if you charge wireless or adaptor.

Sadly they sorta duped people by putting super fast wireless charging. It's simply not capable of it by the definition we're used to. Maybe they'll be a lawsuit about it.
Got mine today and won't even charge my brand new s22, maybe I need that adapter plug for it to work.
OK later on today I found a fast charging adapter so I tried that and my phone now charges so that was the problem. 😅

Anyone else have this charger and need to press the phone down hard on the screen so the phone almost touches the wireless pad so it knows its on the charger?
The raised plastic edge of the charger creates too large of a gap for my note 10+ to connect automatically. If I hold it down for like 5 seconds I can finally let it go because it realizes/remembers it's on a charge pad...????

Thanks for helping...yes u r right but the adapter has to be orginal not the cable I am using Samsung 5 year old 18 watt adapter and 3rd party type c fast charging cable it's works great showing fast charging on my s22 ultra
