The program works well. From May until September, I put Humicahr and chicken feed out once a month and spayed it with SuperJuice with the microbes. By the end of the summer, the Bermuda grass had filled in where I killed off major sections of weeds in my back and side yard. My front yard has a large Live Oak, and St. Augustine began filling in under a large live oak.
Great advice! Soybean meal or Alfalfa meal (not pellets) are great (little tip: dividing the percentage protein by 4 gives you the percentage Nitrogen). In many parts of the US, chicken manure is a better value and it works great. Bagged chicken manure products are all composted, although they're not totally "clean" (and they do smell). But they provide carbon and a good balance of fast/medium/slow-acting nutrients. A good chicken manure product (I like Kreher's) is basically high-test compost. It's good for soil biology, although I just use it as my NPK source... you'll still get lots of value from including biochar, inoculants, etc.
Your knowledge and willingness to continually research and test is making a significant contribution to safer organic farming. In your link below on this video, you pointed out some of the key differences between aerobic and anaerobic decomposition. In aerobic decomposition, “...The heat produced in aerobic composting is sufficient to kill harmful bacteria and pathogens as these organisms are not adapted to these environmental conditions.” In anaerobic decomposition, “...produces little heat. This lack of heat often results in the survival of many pathogens, weeds, and seeds, and causes a significant amount of methane to be released into the atmosphere.” This is really helpful to me. Just these two key differences rule out so called “bokashi” methods of composting for me. Bokashi is really popular among the permaculture folks, but the safety and the likely survival of both pathogens, seeds, and weeds is not discussed so clearly.
By following your super composting methods for my garden during the last summer, I grew way more food than I have ever gotten from my garden. Following your lawn “gardening” methods last summer, gave me the most beautiful deep blue green lawn I have ever grown. Thank you so much.
Doc, I’m in! Just south of you in Smyrna and I’m going with your plan 100% this year. Tried LCN last year, and it did really great... but I’m looking to get that “Doc Lawn” this year. Ordered my Super Juice, Duocide, 10-10-10, Complete, Diothiopyr, Baricade, and Humichar earlier this week. Let’s go!
Doc-I love your products! How do I KNOW that the corn, soy, alfalfa, etc was not sprayed with pesticides/herbicides before it was processed????? I am trying to garden as natural as I can and don’t want to buy/add materials that have hidden chemicals in them. Thanks for your advice!
I have tried to do a vegetable garden in the Memphis area. My problem was that I dug out about 12 inches of the clay but all I really did was create a Sumer time hot tub for the garden. Any ideas on drainage so this does not happen again?
Hey Doc, I'm planning on using a liquid aeration in the next week or so... I live in SC so im also about to put the Andersons DG Barricade down. Which would you do first the aeration or the pre emergent or does it even matter what order. Thanks, love the videos
Hello Doc! Great information. I am planning on laying sod down and my soil is mostly sand in Florida. I was going to use Humichar and chicken feed. Should I till it into the soil or just spread on top of the soil before laying the sod down?
@@HowTowithDoc ok ill send you a boat you send me a spreader lol i feel you its been so hot 1 week here cold 1 week next im scared to jump to early to start the season here in south florida
Hello Doc, I’m Wanting to use this method on my lawn. So if I put down the dirt booster with the microbs I don’t need to put down the chicken crumbles? Or put that down also?
Hey Doc a question: the microbial packs you are speaking of mixing in - where can we get them? I see one will come with the Dirt Booster but how about the packs for other applications? Thanks, Tom
@@HowTowithDoc Thank you. Will head over to the page. Love the videos. Having very little luck with the pre-emergent in Northern Florida. Those weeds are something else. Working hard on making my lawn a great lawn. Whew.

Second for soybean meal. It's incredible for turf lawns.
Where’s the link to Gabe’s video?
Awesome lawn care tips, thanks for posting gardening videos. I'm definitely looking to improve my garden
First! Tractor Supply is great! Now I need to go pay them a visit

I don’t see a link to Gabe’s recommended video, but you can search "Gabe Brown: Keys to Building a Healthy Soil".
Great video. Do you have any info as far as what organic products needed to create an acidic soil for growing blueberries?. Thanks in advance.
Do you apply biochar every year or just once like garden bed.

ANOTHER QUESTION, can I or HOW DO I use this compost acelerator on a NORMAL scrap-lawn clippings-leaves COMPOST PILE?
In Canada they have changed the name from TSC to Peave Ltd.

Build UP not down... just loosen the soil and build up with good cheap garden soil
Why shouldn’t we use chicken feed in the fall? I was planning on spreading this weekend, but now I am hesitant.
Ever tried cottonseed meal?

Lots of humichar and then light coat of PGF balance.
@@HowTowithDoc thank you
Doc, using your program to improve the soil, My lawn has needed less chemical fertilizers and has needed less water that has saved money
Innova is expensive but it’s damn good organic fertilizer
What would the Chicken crumble do to your lawn if applied now?
Question, Doc- can you throw down the chicken feed after a Innova application? Along with humachar? Thank you
Hello Sir... My name is Leo, and I live in San Antonio Texas...How can I and CAN I, apply your product to better my ST AUGUSTINE GRASS?

do you use corn gluten as a pre-emergent weed killer?
Weeds make great free compost with some grass cuttings and manure
Let’s get growing. I need to see more green 😁.
Love TSC!
Best video thanks
How do you prevent green caterpillars from destroying your crops?
Will the chicken feed attract birds?
any updates on what your crew is up to? Witch, and all the others.
Would this work well in flower beds/gardens?
Yes, that's what the video is about.

It's on the page. Will be up on Amazon in the next few weeks.

In Gabes video he talks about infiltration of the soil, is he referring to how well the soil absorbs water??
How much chicken feed are you spreading per thousand?
If you put down chicken feed wont it attract more rodents to your property?
We have had no issues at all. Just follow how we apply it.
