- Stacey gets down to business on the Big Bad Buick. With the top end engine rebuilt, the exterior and interior of the car need some serious updating. You don’t have to spend a ton of cash on simple modifications. Stacey shows what’s behind making a good clean line with your bumpers and how a simple front and rear bumper tuck can drastically change the appearance. Replacing the grille and scraping off that old vinyl top are also sure-fire ways to add attitude to this big ol’ boat tail. That old carpet has got to go! Follow along as Stacey shows the ins and outs and some tips and tricks to keep your exterior and interior redo from breaking the bank.

My old neighbor Kevin Green actually has an early 1970's Buick in his garage, and I really want to buy it.
Thankyou for tackling a boat tail Riviera. They have always been my favorite car. Always loved the old buicks. I currently have a 63 Riviera that I will soon be starting
Love the show. I've been watching since you were on trucks. Great to see a full episode. Thanks
Stacey David I've been a fan of yours for ages. Love your show Brother! I have a 71 Riviera GS that I'm going to be finishing up hopefully soon!
Fantastic tip at 11:40.
Ive always enjoyed watching Stacey David. Always real and honest
clicked here to see Buick repairs---not commercials. had this exact car (71). can't wait to see you change the door hinge bushings and re-install the door alone. sold this car for '68 Electra---REAL CAR---room in trunk for 10 bodies--'Riv trunk-small dog burial delivery
Ah yes "Blues Brosthers", my favorite film.
She caught the Kathy and left me a mule to ride.
I really love the floor mats and I've always liked the '70s full sized cars cause they were massive enough to strike fear and respect from others on the road and if you're hit, you will be glad that you are in a heavy metal vehicle
Go Man, Go! Riviera a super cool project. This show Rocks!
I really wish Stacey would finish some of these projects!
I have been a fan since the days of the show trucks love it
Nice to see a Buick!
great to see full episode been waiting awhile.
Love this show!!🥳
I used to be a fan of this show but now it is a long commercial for sales purposes with an old car thrown in for fun that you have to watch continuously to hope you see finished.
That's why I like those "over-riders, because they say "MOVE IT OR LOSE IT "!!!
Wow the intro really brought a team to my eye, me and the boomer crew listening to the wing dinga, we truely were the best generation. Enough of the trip down memory land, I gotta get my diaper changed.
Your knowledge is incredible
New Gearz right on
I always thought that "restomod" meant "restoration" and "modernization"-since most cars called such aren't concerned with being original but updating various parts of the car to make it drive and perform better.
It can be either one.
I used to be able to watch this show on TV but now I don't get the channel 😭
Think that Riv looks better with a Vinyl top. It isn't a sports car, it's a cruiser. Would leave the bumpers alone. You get hit, or tap it, nowhere for it to move, 'cept right into that sheet metal.
I got a 1979 Buick LeSabre and I'm struggling to find interior parts and exterior parts I tried OPG but they don't have LeSabre where do you recommend me to look???
Are you ever going to finish this car ??
The Riviera is a great choice. But those bumpers don't need to be tucked at all. They're perfect as they are. That would be ridiculous to shove them right up against the body and ruin the proportions.
Stace like your project kits
I hate vinyl tops also because my brother and I had a '74 Catalina with a vinyl roof and people like to take a knife 🔪 to it and they are harder to keep clean
Steele Rubber is great.
I'm pretty sure stacey david is an alien. Hes looked the same since I was a kid and I'm 33..
Shayne I’m pretty sure these are same episodes you watched as a kid lol I know because I used to watch them on Saturday mornings lol
@@enrage55 I'm talking before spike when it was tnn. I didn't think gearz was around then.
It's called a good makeup artist
Mark Randle he’s pretty spry still
Is this show still on?
16:14 This radiator doesn't look that bad. I made rebuild some radiators that looked worse thant this, for I don't know 120 € maybe. Depends if you want that original look or not, and I find that coper core fins are harder to bend and be damaged.
He is going full James May spec.

72 is cool but the 71 is cooler and the 71 GS IS THE COOLEST OF ALL !!!
I had a 1971 Riviera (Non-GS) special ordered with NO Vinyl roof and NO side moulding. It also had 4-5 horns that were harmonized to sound like a train ...
5000 lbs of steel!!!!
Me too to bad covid killed my project and my retirement. Oh well still walking and typing. LOL
My ex mother in-law had a big boat tail
its opgi.com
I love big butts😅
the riviera would look better in black
A radiator is WAYYYY cheaper than an engine
Ruining a classic with stupid mods, way to go.
Every petrol head in canada cringed when you started talking changing things!
😖😖😖🤨
Cut that mop of hair man
