- Now the playoff final has come and gone, the Championship season is OFFICIALLY OVER. So today, I grade EVERY Championship sides 23/24 season!

I think you were pretty much spot on with your tier list Matt! I think Leeds failed too, they really should have gotten promoted with their squad! Birmingham just imploded, massive disaster. Leicester really should have won the title more easily. Ipswich just defied the odds with what they achieved. You have to give great credit to Norwich and West Brom for getting playoffs, and Plymouth for staying up and having a decent first season. But more so to Sheffield Wednesday, it looked more likely for them to go down, they turned it around quite incredibly! 😊👍
I'm a Saints fan but I think Leeds is quite harsh given their points tally would've seen them promoted automatically in 6 of the last 10 seasons and they had the second best defensive record in the league. Farke simply just did not learn from the two games he played us in the regular season and tried the same tactics again in the final
Saying Leeds were a better side than Southampton throughout the season when Southampton beat them three times and were just 3 points behind them
but Leeds beat Ipswich twice and Leicester twice ...so whats your point?
But that’s how a league table works? Head to head then yeah, but over the course of a 46 game season Leeds were better…because they finished higher? It’s not really rocket science.
@@marsports14 back at the start of the season you predicted Leeds finish 5th below Southampton ... now 3rd is failure ??
Danny Rohl gets an A for the great escape, but if the grade is for the whole season, then there's no way Wednesday get the same grade as Ipswich ... they literally finished 2 pts behind Ipswich season before, and both teams had more or less the same squad for 2023/24. Ofc this is only a bit of fun and I agree with everything else (and I have nothing against Wednesday). Cheers!
