Modern craftsmen and women are as skilled but in Glass fiber and sheet metalwork in Aluminium and Stainless Steel. Long may the boats be designed and built inhouse.
You can visit us on the Isle of Wight: rnli.org/what-we-do/lifeboats-and-stations/building-our-lifeboats/inshore-lifeboat-centre or at Poole: rnli.org/what-we-do/lifeboats-and-stations/building-our-lifeboats/all-weather-lifeboat-centre We'd love to see you.
There isn't one Lifeboat Day as such, but many communities with lifeboat stations hold their own Lifeboat Days, which are like open days to celebrate all things RNLI and the amazing local volunteers 😊
Keep up the good work!
Such amazing progress over the years, for which so many casualties and survivors will be forever grateful....bless you all.
Thank you Marion 💙
A brilliant film. Thank you for bringing it out. Any chance of a 2023 version out? ❤
Thanks Ste, that's a great idea!
