Lol it just forces you to use better strategy. The scrubs wouldn’t get penalised for being casual. This way the people that put some effort in, get the rewards.
I've thought that too, as it's the death of experimentation. At-least reduce the silver cost for players not at level cap, those are the ones that get hurt by the silver cost the most as they are leveling and learning and trying new things.
I hate the system too but if there was no penalty cost then everyone would be turning their champs into gear banks in order to avoid hitting the cap. There are a couple of solutions though. As ya'll mention; 1-they could have free days so you wait till those days to switch everything around like a game of musical chairs. 2-Just cut the penalty cost (across the board) by 30%. It still hurts but much more bearable. 3-Have almost no penalty cost if the piece of gear is enchanted to +12 or higher. It seems weird but that method influences players to commit more to each piece of gear, thus focusing quality and not quantity.

Good tips. Perhaps a vid on what makes a champ good. Strip, Cleanse, Attack down, Defense down, AoE, Cooldowns, etc. Especially within rares and uncommon. Suarus, Shield Guard, Occult Monk. Epics and legends aren't as prevalent or obtainable. Build on that foundation you spoke of "working with what you got". Anyway, enjoying your content. Take care
Spending silver to unequip artifacts is the dumbest and greediest thing i've seen in a "free to play" mobile game. They're not some top tier game that wins awards or makes people famous, it's a phone app. They should be trying to accommodate to the player base, they can't afford to lose their players especially with the way the game is headed.

I did have a catastrophe earlier while half paying attention- I meant to use an ancient shard just to get a new blue on the account and save the other 13 for a 2x event. What happened however was me pushing the x10 summon, and all I got was a Thenaril or whatever his name is... A decent character but I have an apothecary and seem to mainly get support characters so a little disappointing. Pay attention when on the summon screen!!!!!! Lol
What an amazing vid. As a player currently in mid game of my account, these tips are EVERYTHING lol especially since I haven't really played to many RPG style games but I gotta say Raid has me hooked and these tips will save me alot of frustration 🤦♂️
i wouldn't care about spending the silver to unequip the gear if the leveling of gear was guaranteed instead of it might possibly go to the next level, that is the part i hate most in this game
My advice for beginners is STICK to the missions schedule on the lower left of your screen, don't go too ahead of yourself and keep things calm, do the daily quest and if you stack on energy, use that energy to stuff fodder with experience and use them later to rank up your main character, keep in mind who will be your priority, ignore the rares you get on occasions, UN LESS is a really good one like one of the 4 starter champions. Kale, Galek, etc. focus on 4 champions for arena, and i don't mean to win all the time, you will get there eventually, just keep fighting and don't feel discourage if you lose, you wont learn if you win all the time. of course you can investigate like i do on people who make videos like Salt, but have your own criteria and take them as advice. 1. You can't plan out gearing up your toons, because you simply lack on them so you have to work with what you got, eventually you will get that piece for this or that character and you will either remove the one you previously equipped or simply destroy it. have 2 champions with 4 sets of life steal and 2 of attack , and when one ranks up keep the other as your guardian, and when your former reach the peak level , rank the other so the first will be your guardian. meanwhile keep collecting gear and switch if needed. 3 stars are not that pricey to remove. Chack character info, they give recommendations on what to gear them with , take that as advice and don't fallow it as it is. 2. yep that is a pickle... i can understand how complicated that will be once you get a lot of champions. 3. I am doing the other way around, why gear initial champions with outstanding gear , which if you remove it you then will mess with point 1 plan ahead your gear. because when you get that champion that requires that set you will got to pay to remove it. better as an initial player to save those special gear to you get more of it. 4. that is true, but yet again, you can't plan ahead, because you never know when you will get that champion that needs specific stats to work better. 5. that is a great advice actually, should had got it before... I am now out of silver, huge step back for f2p gamers like myself. Oh well!

Gearing is one of the most difficult things so far I have doing in the game. I see the recommended in game gear, plus i've watched many videos with people equipping entirely different gear and then i've read on websites of people even using completely different gear than the others did. As a fairly new player it makes me lost. I don't know if it was this video or another but you mentioned even though it was an epic HP champion that one you wanted to focus on attack or crit based off a A2 or A3 attack. SOOO confusing. I've seen on many websites for clan boss/dungeons the recommended gear is MOSTLY 1 lifesteal set and 1 speed set. That leaves out a 3rd set....and for a new player....what do i focus on?? Again so confusing. I'm going to be more hesitant to level up gear now until i understand it better or why people gear a certain way.

just 1 :) I started off on a different one until I got Sir Nicolas on this one, then I made this account my main account. The other one is still in the level 30's i think. I also have a few alts for the referral bonuses but I stopped at level 20 I believe.
Speed affects how often your champions get a turn - so a champion with double the speed of another champion will get double the turns (ie 2 turns for every 1 turn the slower champ gets)
^^ exactly. Speed is very important for healers and poison damagers on clan boss. More turns = more poisons and more heals. Arena, you just get more chances to wipe out the enemy team and if you have a nuke team, you want to try to attack first. Conversely, you want a counter attack team to be slow (but lots of speed on the champ that applies counter attack). This allows your champs to dish out more counter attacks before the buff expires.
Its a content creator technique to validify their content and make their acc look professional. Makes people think if they listen to him they can make that many gems

imagine in order to change your cloths, that are in your wardrobe, you have to pay, lets say 10-50$ for each cloth and if the cloth is Gucci or Armani you need to pay more 100$ for each......such a bull$&@#^

I got screwed so hard by having to pay Silver to unequip stuff... I always like to try new builds and equip the new good champions that I got with good equips to be able to level them up in the campaign as I did not even finished the campaign yet, I'm lvl 27 and I'm at my 5th day playing this game and now I can't progress further because I have no more silver and my champions can't handle the final boss... I really enjoyed the game and was thinking about purchasing something with cash, but ultimately I will stop playing the game if the only way to pass a wall on my progression is by cash
Cash doesn't help that much in these games actually. Unless.. you either are... A) In a rush and just want to get a quick bang head start, which makes little difference in the long run, or B) you wish to drop a HUGE amount of money on the game (like thousands per year). I came from the game summoner's war (this game is a copycat design), which i played for 2 years (always was freeToPlay), and i was more advanced then most average players, because the strategies i used, and the level of grinding over time. Personally, i have no where to go in a hurry, so i'm plenty happy to waste loads of my time on a game like this. So far i'm enjoying this game (5 days in), but i am noticing this game is a bit harder then some the others (no problem there for me either).

I ended up spending a little bit on the game because I dont really mind paying for good entertainment and I was lucky to get some good deals... Everything I bought so far is not more than 30$ USD, so not really a great amount invested... As of right now I'm player lvl 53, Gold4 in the Arena, Dragon dungeon stage 17, spider 13, FK 14, 3 key brutal CB, got all arena & dungeon challenges done and trying to progress on nightmare campaign stage 8 This game is deep and addictive, keep playing and you'll enjoy it a lot!

Making us pay silver just to try out a new gear set is stupid. The upgrade costs and low success rates at higher levels eats up enough silver as it is. They need to change this.

Should not be upgrading 4 star gear to max level. Easy to get 5 star gear on missions only. I was doing max level missions in the first 30 days of playing so it is easy to get 5 star gear. Get 6 start gear in dungeons but it is much tougher. Rule of thumb is only max out 5 start gear.
he is a a pretty good legendary. i wouldn't say THE BEST or anything, but hes def pretty decent and a lot better then a lot of other legendaries! congrats!
Good 4 stars > Bad 5 stars. I sell all 3 star and lower, but if i get amazing 4 stars I still keep. I am not quite at the point of vending all 4 star yet.

Caveat to this is, sometimes when you're progressing through campaign and you get stuck, the better gear is going to get you over the line sometimes.

Never had to unequipped my gear just waited until I unlocked higher lvl gear.
oh they also didn't have the "destroy" option when i started out, this is a bit newer, so you HAD to pay silver if you wanted to switch out gear :(

Fyi, 100% crit rate is not 100%. Attacking strong affinity greatly lowers crit rate....i think its about 15%. So to get actual 100% u need about 115%

he is a a pretty good legendary. i wouldn't say THE BEST or anything, but hes def pretty decent and a lot better then a lot of other legendaries! congrats!

I still don't understand why theres a penalty for removing gear or why its so expensive
it is a pretty strict penalty, i can understand not being able to remove gear all the time for free, but there has to be some other way.
Because it encourages people to buy silver packs when they run out swapping gear around. It is greedy.

Good 4 stars > Bad 5 stars. I sell all 3 star and lower, but if i get amazing 4 stars I still keep. I am not quite at the point of vending all 4 star yet.
