Yog Sothoth how does one that is merely an existence in a dream keep the dreamer asleep? keep on giving him good dreams so he doesn't want to wake up? great name btw

+ManggMangg I just finished watching the videos about Azathoth the creator deity and Hastur. It made me think of a mythology in a video game series I fell in love with. I think perhaps you might enjoy the read. Maybe you'll see connections I didn't see. In the beginning, there was "darkness." Then finally, the "darkness" shed a "tear." From that "tear," the brothers Sword and Shield were born. Sword Bragged that he can cut anything. Shield replied that he could protect anything. Then the brothers began a legendary battle across the deep of the cosmos. At the end, Sword cut Shield and Shield smashed Sword. Sword became the sky, Shield became the earth, and their battle flashes became the stars. And the jewels that adorn Sword and Shield Became the True Runes." According to the legend, true runes are the backbone of the Suikoden universe, allowing it to exist. Each True rune is effectively a sort of god, with its own will or agenda. Because the True Runes hold such immense power, they are often sought by kings, emperors, and other secret organizations, which has ultimately led to many, many wars throughout the ages of Suikoden. No one knows for certain where True Runes came from, but legend tells that the 27 True Runes were created when the brothers, "Sword" and "Shield" fought against each other, shattering themselves into 27 pieces. Because of the eternal struggles between the different runes, or even the different aspects of the same rune, the battles between the True Runes are often paralleled by the struggles for power within and between nations and Dynasties. All True Runes represent a certain aspect of existence, such as punishment, beginning, or even the basic elements (fire, wind, etc.). Because of their ties with the foundations of the universe, they bring both benefits and curses to its bearer, such as agelessness, immunity to disease, incredible magical powers, but most notably, the ability to control the destinies of entire nations. the True Runes are sentient, and have wishes and necessities. Each True Rune has a different desire and follow a different behavior to reach these desires. Some necessities can be potentially harmful or even lethal to the bearer of the rune. True Runes have been known to destroy their own bearer, or even swap bearers, so that they can be more properly aligned with those with great power, or even the stars of destiny in order to bring greater order or chaos to the universe. When the True Rune has really harmful effects to its bearer, sometimes it's branded as "Cursed" by people. Although the bearers of True Runes often stop aging and become immune to disease, they are still susceptible to death from physical causes, such as accidents, sacrifice, or murder. If this happens, the Rune will seek another host, or stay dormant. The Rune will also go with these conditions if the part of the body that the Rune is attached on gets severed from the main body, like the hand, for example. It is mentioned that the True Runes also have the ability to give their bearers immortality. In opposition, if the bearer excessively uses the power of the rune, the bearer will die. "THE BEAST RUNE" A True Rune representing animalistic rage and passion; the rune is officially said to have been given to the Blight family by the High Priest Sasarai. However, the fact is that the Beast Rune refused to be contained within Harmonia and took residence in L'Renouille according to its own will. Harmonia hid this fact by claiming that it was a gift, and used it as a political tool. Since then, the Beast Rune laid dormant within L'Renouille until Luca Blight took interest in its power. After the Beast Rune was realized as a weapon of war, huge quantities of blood was sacrificed to it, awakening various "relatives of the Beast Rune" in the form of golden wolves. These wolves caused confusion to the Allied Forces when they took Muse--the city was filled with golden wolves. During the siege on L'Renouille, the Beast Rune took the form of the Silver Wolf and challenged the Allied Forces to a final bout. After it was defeated, it is unknown what happened to the Beast Rune. "THE SOUL EATER" Better known as the "Rune of Life and Death," this rune represents two inevitabilities: life and death. The rune has devastating powers, and an equally devastating curse. The rune is prone to bend fate of people close to it's bearer so they can get killed by several means, and the rune then can eat their souls. "THE RUNE OF PUNISHMENT" The Rune of Punishment governs atonement and forgiveness, attaching itself to a bearer's left arm. The Rune has tremendous destructive power, however, it comes at the cost of the bearer's own vitality. When the wielder's life-force is at an end, their memories are absorbed by the rune, and the person bearing the rune turns to dust. The Rune then transfers to the nearest available host. Rune of Punishment is supposedly to be the deadliest rune among all the 27 True Runes. Whilst it is still believed that the Rune of Punishment will grant standard True Rune abilities such as agelessness; there is no record of any of its previous bearers surviving long enough for this to be an issue. "THE NIGHT RUNE" A True Rune representing the "power of the night," this rune allows "creatures of the night," such as zombies, skeletons, and vampires to exist. There is argument over the nature of this rune due to the Zodiac Sword's claim that his physical form as a sword is simply a "manifestion" of the Night Rune allowing it to interact with our dimension. Luc explains that the True Runes are aware of the fate of the world, which will end in either chaos or dharma usurping the balance and remaking the world in their image. According to him, the True Runes are the key to this cosmic struggle and destroying even one of them could end it. Lore wise, all True Runes are equal in power, and none can outstep their bounds into another True Rune territory of influence. However, two or more True Runes could "team up" to subjugate another True Rune.
I'm surprised when you mentioned Bloodborne you didn't also mention the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora as a version of this character or at least inspired by Yog as it's a tentacle monster with an eye that hordes knowledge.
Insane how genius these are. I've been thinking a lot about how to portray a whole idea clearly while not having to describe what each part means. So if normal speech is about describing everything, then this is either a tier above or the opposite, you get it. Pretty much a basic knowledge of the pop culture and after watching this you can ask yourself some pretty specific questions and get detailed answers. The Ctulhu video was a similar experience to watching a long essay on a topic you personally don't have much money in. The structure could be that pretty much exactly, especially the overall impact kind of meta summary at the end. Tomorrow I'm 100% getting a fever considering the state I'm writing this in, so if anyone was wondering. Edit: oh yeah the idea was that this video doing so many cool things so well and all that metaphorically made me smile but I forgot

In the last nightmare you go to in bloodborne, there is an elevator that takes you down to a place that is totally dark. There isn’t even a floor. If you walk around you’ll come across a big mass of eyes and tentacles. Maybe this is one of the cuthulu mythos creatures ?
I watched your MH3U video earlier today, which my partner and I are playing cooperatively, and I decided to later (now) search for succinct descriptions of Lovecraftian entities. Here I am, returning to your channel ever-so-coincidentally...!
Funny enough, the D&D book "Xanathars Guide to Everything" is written as if it was written by Xanathar himself, who is a Beholder (a species based on Yog Sothoth). The book contains notes from the alien to the reader in a simmilar manner that you discribed
Its hard to really comment on something like this. Let me say you are one of two people who really reminds me why I love weird fiction and the masters such as Lovecraft and Blackwood. You don't repeat what everyone says and you stay true to objective views of a writers literary body as well as showing why you appreciate the stories yourself. I really appreciate your Exploration of lovecraft's mythos and its a go to when I have nothing else to watch. As for my opinions of the video itself. Really love how you describe Yog-Sothoth (same with Hastur). Though not a conqueror like Cthulhu or a Deceiver like Nyarlathotep, he interests me because of his forbidden knowledge and it makes me wonder how much he knows of Azathoth himself, especially since even the Necronomicon doesn't contain much detail on Azathoth. It also makes me wonder how aware he is of Nyarlathotep. Whether he watches and records his deception to impart knowledge or to record entropy as it unfolds in the cosmos. All these little details fascinate me about this particular deity and honestly I now understand why Lovecraft preferred Yog-Sothory (sorry if i misspelled that). Look forward to more content and what else you do outside of Lovecraft.
Bloodborne and especially its interpretations by Vaatividya (RUclips) is a great sister to the Lovecraftian mythos. Anyone vaguely interested in HP Lovecraft would do well to check out that game and its interpretation by him. It's a work of art in and of itself.
If you want to hear an amazing incantation for yog sothoth, I highly recommend listening to Red Signal by The Mechanisms. It’s part of a whole concept album based around Norse mythology with an eldritch twist, and the singer just goes HAM on the chant with all this wailing and electric guitar in the background.
I love that you me mention Bloodborne because I put on this mythos playlist to have something matching the theme of Bloodborne while I grind for blood echoes
Yog-Sothoth is also most likely the primary inspiration behind Hermaeus Mora from the Elder Scrolls Series. Though all deadra are beings that live outside of known reality and can shape-shift, Yog and Herma are both described as a mass of tentacles covered in eyes and both govern over hidden knowledge as well as time.
Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.
Hmmm, while I agree on your thoughts about what can be considered canon, I personally hold myself to Lovecraft's original creations. The difference between the Great Old Ones, Outer Gods (Other Gods), and Elder Gods was never expanded upon. In fact I personally believe that many of these classifications can apply to a great number of beings in the Mythos. The story that everyone mentions, "Through the Gates of the Silver Key", was actually written mostly by the stories co-writer. That version of Yog-Sothoth seemed less like the others in Lovecraft's work. Yog-Sothoth appeared in "Dreams of the Witch House" as well. It was revealed that he, as well as many other alien entities, are hyperspace and or use Hyperspace to travel. As the protagonist did in his dream. It is implied that this is where the court of Azathoth exist, and it would also explain the nature of many of the beings. I feel that Yog-Sothoth isn't omniscient in the ignorant human sense of the word, but instead an incredibly knowledgeable entity that travels through time and space via hyperspace and is precieved as being 'all knowing' and one with space and time instead of literally being one with space and time. Humans ignorantly applying magical godlike attributes to things they don't understand, no wonder why the Yithians had us right above lizards in terms of intelligence.
I believe Crowley theorized that Yog Sothoth and Choronzon were one and the same. This would sense being that Choronzon is said to be both the gate and the guardian of Daath on the sepherothic tree.
hi! i just found out your channel some days ago and i already watched everything on 40k (that was the theme got me to find you) and lovecraft. i wonder if you can do some analysis or reviews or your impresions/interpretations on ligotti's short stories. best regards from méxico.
YOG-SOTHERY (possible) COSMOLOGY -There seem to be an Infinite number of parallel and alternate universes, some being infinitely big -Also an infinite number of higher spatial dimensions, with each higher dimension infinitely bigger than the previous -First Gate transcends concept of dimensions entirely -Unknown amount of Gates after First Gate, each gate transcends the previous Gate -Ultimate Gate is where Azathoth and the Outer Gods reside, in the Ultimate Void.

Other people here have mentioned this, but another video game that clearly references Yog-Sothoth is Skyrim, where the daedric prince of knowledge, Hermaeus Mora, is portrayed as a grotesque mass of eyes and tentacles and has been known to bind those who come to him seeking powerful knowledge to his service. At the end of the Dragonborn DLC, where you gain ancient knowledge from him to defeat one of his rebellious servants, it is highly implied that this will happen to your character.

Recently I’ve been sort of theorycrafting my ideal Soulsborne type game set entirely in the proper Cthulhu mythos, just as a thought experiment and bit of fanboying on my part
I reckon Yogsothoth is actually the pstafarian god, and the first pastafarian who glimpsed him was a semi blind Italian who assumed his tendrils and eyes to be spaghetti and meatballs
I often wonder if the Chaos gods from Warhammer can commune with gods like Yog-Sothoth. This one seems like one that Tzeentch would very much like to be in contact with.
Haha, I was just about to ask if you knew of Bloodborne, and then I reached that part of the video! I loved lovecraftian aliens ever since I first saw Old Gods and their servants in Warcraft, and Bloodborne has since become one of my favourite games. Especially because of the super detailed lovecraftian influences with cosmos, the nightmare and the creatures themselves. Also, Metallicas songs The Thing That Should Not Be and Call of Kthulu, as well as modern death metal bands singing (growling) only about Cthulhu mythos (Sulphur Aeon is an awesome, eerie sounding band).
I have no idea... but in all honesty, the Cthulhu mythos would be no more ridiculous than any other religion people believe in. At least, it's interesting.
+Woah Man: Not really anything to do with whether I like it or not, honestly. Sure, I like the Cthulhu mythos. It's fun... but that wasn't the reason for my statement above. I think we have about as much proof for God (i.e. a book and some "lunatics" raving about the signs they've seen) as we have of the Great Old Ones (i.e. a book and some "lunatics" somewhere raving about them). Therefore, the Cthulhu Mythos could just as well be a legit religion.
I believe Hermaeus Mora from the Elder Scrolls series could be seen as a reference to Yog-Sothoth. His Daedric Artifact is the Oghma Infinium, sought after by powerful mages seeking to extend their knowledge beyond the mortal realm. Hermaeus Mora supposedly knows & sees all. He appears as a giant mass of eyeballs & tentacles. And typically when his quest-lines are done he allows you to peek into the Oghma Infinium & it greatly increases your base stats. Also! Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC was basically a Lovecraft Nightmare where you end up going into his world, filled with green skies & black seas.
So I run a Call of Cthulhu game, and all of my campaigns are in the same universe. I took the Cthulhu Mythos lore and took it and changed some things about it. One of my favorite things that I tweaked I made Yog-Sothoth tire of Azathoth’s desire to do nothing but consume and with the help of some other outer gods overthrew and banished Azathoth, with Yog Sothoth stealing and using the immense power of Azathoth to become the omnipotent being that he is. I make some pretty large steps away from the lore in my own head cannon universe but I do quite enjoy it.
if he is god of all-knowing, and one of supported theory that is used is that everything is of Azathoth's dream, would Yog-Sothoth know that he is merely an existence in a dream?
deep
Yes. That's why the outer gods are in constant desperate struggle to keep Azathoth asleep.

"THE BEAST RUNE"
A True Rune representing animalistic rage and passion; the rune is officially said to have been given to the Blight family by the High Priest Sasarai.
"THE SOUL EATER"
Better known as the "Rune of Life and Death," this rune represents two inevitabilities: life and death. The rune has devastating powers, and an equally devastating curse. The rune is prone to bend fate of people close to it's bearer so they can get killed by several means, and the rune then can eat their souls.
"THE RUNE OF PUNISHMENT"
The Rune of Punishment governs atonement and forgiveness, attaching itself to a bearer's left arm.
"THE NIGHT RUNE"
A True Rune representing the "power of the night," this rune allows "creatures of the night," such as zombies, skeletons, and vampires to exist.
+ManggMangg do you believe the mythology?
What is there to believe? It is all fiction.
+Durendal Arcas Idk this community is weird i can't tell if people actually believe all this
I'm surprised when you mentioned Bloodborne you didn't also mention the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora as a version of this character or at least inspired by Yog as it's a tentacle monster with an eye that hordes knowledge.
You're doing a great job with these Mythos summaries.
Yog-sothoth is my favorite lovecraft deity because he's so smart
And he's everywhere too.
I just discovered your Cthulhu mythos videos, and am enjoying them immensely. I hope you continue doing stuff like this!
Yog-Sthoth - All-seeing all-knowing monster with tentacles, eyes and mouths.
Yogg-Saron - All-seeing all-knowing monster with tentacles, eyes and mouths.
AHAH!!!!
Xavier Reichel There is no relation at all, I don't know him, he doesn't know me.
You'll soon learn nothing in the Warcraft Universe is an original thought.
World of Warcraft references him in their character Yog-Saron located in Ulduar
they don't seem to share a lot of similarities. yogg saren is a God of death who has used corrupting whisper to madden his foes. he doesn't really work well with people helping people lol

Frank J All the old gods are based off of the lovecraft mythos
The passage you quoted is my favourite lovecraft writing of them all. I really enjoyed reading it again at the end of the video.
I am LOVING this series!
Glad I could help out on both counts.
I think Yog-Sothoth's (Yog-sothoth) name always has to be said twice for reasons that elude me.
Hermaeus Mora in Skyrim is an awesome rendition of Yog Sotthoth. It even has versions of deep ones and Star Children of Cthulhu.
Excellent videos on these beings. Was already looking for the next ones, until I noticed that these videos are really new.
imagine what yog-sothoth would think of gamers xD
"why in the name of me would you use THAT? the other option is better in every way! me-damn noob"
Sans the Medic Correct.
Yog Sothoth, the god of Meta.
Funny enough, the D&D book "Xanathars Guide to Everything" is written as if it was written by Xanathar himself, who is a Beholder (a species based on Yog Sothoth). The book contains notes from the alien to the reader in a simmilar manner that you discribed
Wow. That's some potent cringe there. @Sans the Medic
Loving your videos on the mythos so far good sir!
I really like Blizzard's take on yog-sothoth in the form of yogg-saron
Don't forget Yog'Saruman and Yog'SamwiseGangee and Yog'BilboBaggins.
Futurama had something like this if I remember correctly. Went intimate with our whole universe, not just the women.
*Shoots Bullsquid* Say hi to Yog-Sothoth and the Elder Gods for me!
Sooo yog sathoth is hermaeus Mora?
No Hermaeus Mora is Yog-Sothoth
No Hermaeus Mora is Yog-Sothoth
If hermaeus mora were given infinite dimensional steroids yes.
Can someone tell me how to summon him? I really would like to meet him. He seems nice.
I don't think it's a good idea. You may create another Dunwich Horror.
The Nihilistic Neckbeard Alas! My plan to let me myself be the only one who could summon him is foiled!
+StygianTraveler141 tell me how to summon him! NOWWWWW!!!!
Barrett Bailey Uhhhhh. No.
find the necronomicon, it holds the ritual to releasing him, and to raise the dead
Yog-Sothoth knows the story of how Shaggy became Ultra-Instinct Shaggy
Omg it's the Flying Spaghetti Monster!!!!!!
Great Yog Sothoth grant us knowledge of the ancient ways
Christopher Vaughn No.
I love that you me mention Bloodborne because I put on this mythos playlist to have something matching the theme of Bloodborne while I grind for blood echoes
Well, I can't believe it. The so-called flying spaghetti monster that Richard Dawkins loves to talk about appears at 2:55.
ramen.
0:07 Flying Spaghetti Monster! Praised be!
Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate.
Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth.
He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.
Your endings give me the creeps, also I like the quote you used for this one, it was from Dunwhich Horror correct?
That's correct.
I was playing Bloodborne while listening to this
I believe Crowley theorized that Yog Sothoth and Choronzon were one and the same. This would sense being that Choronzon is said to be both the gate and the guardian of Daath on the sepherothic tree.
4:06
We know that Yog-Sothoth is watching us.
I just sent a middle finger in the ceiling I wonder if he sees that
Just by that quote, I imagine Yog as one of those nature recorders filming a predator that is about to eat it's prey.
It should also be pointed out that Yog-Sothoth is the link between the Cthulhu Mythos and Doctor Who. Ol' Yoggy is The Great Intelligence.
Spider Pope "Ol' Yoggy"? That's a new one.
These are soooo good. more background music please!
the flying spagettimonster!
Hail our noodlely overlord
May he allways bless his followers with good pasta sauce and meatballs
The titles for these gods gives me chills.
He's also mentioned in needful things, by Stephen King. Pretty cool.
That quote at the end is absolutely chilling

Buzz Lightyear is on the pyramid
Unseen things cannot be unseen.
hi! i just found out your channel some days ago and i already watched everything on 40k (that was the theme got me to find you) and lovecraft. i wonder if you can do some analysis or reviews or your impresions/interpretations on ligotti's short stories.
best regards from méxico.
I wonder if we can conclude that Yog-Sothoth is present in every rabbit hole, wardrobe, and tornado.
KOBUN40 It's been a few years since I've been in a rabbit hole.
Thanks for the Abigail, I will pray to you from now on
So he’s basically Hermaeus mora
YOG-SOTHERY (possible) COSMOLOGY
-There seem to be an Infinite number of parallel and alternate universes, some being infinitely big
-Also an infinite number of higher spatial dimensions, with each higher dimension infinitely bigger than the previous
-First Gate transcends concept of dimensions entirely
-Unknown amount of Gates after First Gate, each gate transcends the previous Gate
-Ultimate Gate is where Azathoth and the Outer Gods reside, in the Ultimate Void.
So... Yog-Sothoth is Zone-Tan?
TheBloodswordsman Good lord, I'm not proud that I know who that is.
I am : 3
I'd like to really emphasize that for his power, he is pretty chill.
So is it true that Yog-Sothoth is capable of granting any wish of a human?
Yes, Randolph Carter wished to be part of the Supreme Archetype and Yog-Sothoth made it happen
@@lawrencerowley8581 Then i have but one wish... i have nothing to personally be gained, as it will positively affect ALL humanity.
@@AceKite00 actually correction:
Carter wished to gain the knowledge of Yog-Sothoth and so Yog-Sothoth delivered it, Carter then learns about the true nature of the Outer Gods and how he is actually a part of Yog-Sothoth. But then in an unexpected turn if events, Azathoth appeared causing Carter to [REDACTED] despite being a part of Yog-Sothoth. Yog-Sothoth couldn't anything to the Supreme Archetype known as "Azathoth"
NO AZATHOTH IS NOT THE SUPREME ARCHETEP YOG SOTHOTH IS AZATHOTH WAS AYBAL TO END CARTAL BECOS HE WAS ORDY A PART OF YOG SOTHOTH EVEN BEFOR TGE WISH YOG SOTHOTH IS THE ALL IN ONE KARTAL AND AZATHOTH AR A PART OF HM AZATHOTH ANDING CARTAL IS LIKE YOUR BIGST FENGER ENDING YOUR SMOLST FENGER SO NO AZATHOTH IS NOT SUPREME YOG SOTHOTH IS THE SUPREME ARCHETEP
Yog-Sothoth being YAHWEH does actually explain a lot about why YHWH acts the way he does...
Elder scrolls Hermaeus Mora is a good example of Yog-Sothoth, both imagery wise and relating to hidden knowledge.
Azathoth = The One Above All.
Yog-Sothoth = The Living Tribunal.
Is that about right?
NO YOG SOTHOTH IS THE SUPREME LORD NOT AZATHOTH AND AZATHOTH DOES NOT DREAM REALLTY THATS JUST A MYTH ALSO IN ALL 100 STORYS OF LOVECRAFT YOG SOTHOTH IS THE ONLY CHARACTER THAT LOVECRAFT REFERD TO AS OMNIPOTENT THER IS NO MINSHON OF AZATHOTH BING SUPREME OR DREAMENG RIALLTY
Reminds me of Hermaeus Mora from the Elder Scrolls lore, no doubt he was based off of this Yog-Sothoth.
Hermaeus Mora.
Nimos Rellak I love the way hermaus mora talks
It may be naieve of me but, i feel yog would see us with some form of kindness, Seeing our thirst for knowlage as some aspect of itself.
K N O W L E D G E
Recently I’ve been sort of theorycrafting my ideal Soulsborne type game set entirely in the proper Cthulhu mythos, just as a thought experiment and bit of fanboying on my part
I hate it when they compare this guy to the hell gate guardian
[ Madman ] Isnt he the one from the godzilla in hell comic?
Sothoth is very similar to the old timey and kind of folkish name for tuberculosis
I thought Nyarlathotep was the most knowledgeable of the Outer Gods.
No he has more forms
I reckon Yogsothoth is actually the pstafarian god, and the first pastafarian who glimpsed him was a semi blind Italian who assumed his tendrils and eyes to be spaghetti and meatballs
Ya boi yoggie uses the ability to watch you in your private hours.
Jimmy's buzzard Advent Why do you all jump to this conclusion? I do not.
I often wonder if the Chaos gods from Warhammer can commune with gods like Yog-Sothoth. This one seems like one that Tzeentch would very much like to be in contact with.
I wish i was this smart
Are there people who actually believe in this?
Kevin Izquierdo yup
I have no idea... but in all honesty, the Cthulhu mythos would be no more ridiculous than any other religion people believe in. At least, it's interesting.
Kevin Izquierdo Yes.
+Woah Man:
Not really anything to do with whether I like it or not, honestly.
Clairvoyant81 The Christian God itself feels like a Lovecraftian horror deity
I believe Hermaeus Mora from the Elder Scrolls series could be seen as a reference to Yog-Sothoth. His Daedric Artifact is the Oghma Infinium, sought after by powerful mages seeking to extend their knowledge beyond the mortal realm.
Hermaeus Mora supposedly knows & sees all. He appears as a giant mass of eyeballs & tentacles. And typically when his quest-lines are done he allows you to peek into the Oghma Infinium & it greatly increases your base stats.
Also! Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC was basically a Lovecraft Nightmare where you end up going into his world, filled with green skies & black seas.
fuuuck... 666 likes... if I click like, I'll ruin it! :( If I don't... well, it'll still be 666!
Why is the number in a alien video
So I run a Call of Cthulhu game, and all of my campaigns are in the same universe. I took the Cthulhu Mythos lore and took it and changed some things about it. One of my favorite things that I tweaked I made Yog-Sothoth tire of Azathoth’s desire to do nothing but consume and with the help of some other outer gods overthrew and banished Azathoth, with Yog Sothoth stealing and using the immense power of Azathoth to become the omnipotent being that he is. I make some pretty large steps away from the lore in my own head cannon universe but I do quite enjoy it.
Fuck it
Schrodingers Deity
Existent and Nonexistent simultaneously
Yogge-Sothoth is watching our every move.
Great. I have another stalker.
Isn’t yog-sothoth more powerful than azathoth?
Yog-Sothoth "is watching our every move"? You mean like Santa Claus? "Gonna find out who's naughty and nice."
