It's the best plane the Pentagon is currently admitting to. Keep in mind the SR-71 Blackbird, B-2 Spirit, F-117 Nighthawk, and F-22 Raptor were all flying missions for at least a decade before the Pentagon admitted they existed. I can almost guarantee part of the reason the number of F-22s on order was cut back was because a promising replacement was already in the testing phase.

  • @HouTexHemi
    @HouTexHemi 8 месяцев назад +42

The helmet mounted cueing system is huge because it allows the pilot to target enemy planes without having his plane pointed directly at them, he simply has to look at the enemy plane in order to designate it and transmit that information to the tracking computer in the missile. Think of traditional dog-fighting, the idea is that you have to outmaneuver the other guy so that you are behind him and pointed at him to get off a shot. With the helmet and the AIM-9x "off-boresight" missile, you could theoretically fire at and hit a plane that was directly behind you! It is completely game changing for aerial combat. The F-22 pilots say it isn't that big of a deal for them because 1. they kill most targets way before they get into dogfight range and 2. even in the case of a dogfight they are much more maneuverable than almost every other plane anyway.

    • @JU5TINPDX
      @JU5TINPDX 8 месяцев назад +2

Doesn’t it also add the ability to have sort of augmented reality, where the pilot can look through the plane, with the sensors mounted around the jet allowing him to see targets that are not visible out of his cockpit? So say a target was directly beneath the raptor, the pilot could look down and launch the AIM9-x off bore-sight… or am I confusing the system with something else?

    • @HouTexHemi
      @HouTexHemi 8 месяцев назад +6

@@JU5TINPDXwhat you are saying is true of the F-35 but won’t be the case for the F-22. Those capabilities come from the F-35’s distributed aperture system which has all the multi spectral sensors needed. The F-22 doesn’t have that system.

The F-22 truly is a scary plane... and the design is a work of art. It is a beautiful piece of engineering. And that thing has a radar cross-section, that they talk about anyway, the size of a bumble bee. It's likely smaller. Meaning if you can even see the damn thing on radar, good luck actually tracking it. It's fast, it's nimble, and you will never see it coming. Often pilots will talk about how if you even see the other aircraft, you did something wrong. You should be taking them out LONG before you're in visual range. And this is a 2 decade old plane (operational testing) and older than that in terms of design work.

The US never sold this airframe, keeping it for themselves. This airframe won a competition over a competing team of companies for the contract. The win was based solely on the fact the other design wasn't ready in time. That other airframe is the only plane currently known to be superior to the F-22, in the entire world, decades after the competition. Just in the last couple of years, USA gave Japan permission to build & update that other airframe, known as the YF-23. It will be incredible once Japan has more than an Air Wing of planes, so they can introduce themselves to the yearly combat training done in Nevada which put the best airframes against each other in simulated combat situations. Til then, the F-22 is the greatest airfighter on the planet.

      @robertevans2450 8 месяцев назад

@@jamesrussell7760 My understanding is that they are allowed to copy the program, but won't get a frame delivered. What they develop from the program is theirs & their partners to build for their needs, but they must share back any and all info with the US. This is much like making a version branch in the repository of software development, as ownership of the branch is Japan but the entire trunk is US, and to retain sensitive info, McD Northrop will be the manufacturer, and some of the more sensitive parts being US produced while some others would be Japan produced. I think the engine, stealth components, and most of the more advanced electronics will be US-produced, much like we have seen on the more advanced versions of the F-35 production.
This isn't a new level of shared trust, as Japan is significant in many projects that are at the tip of US technological superiority, like Missile Defense, Lasar development, Submarine development, etc. 50% of the budget for Missile Defense of US DoD is Japan's investment, just as an example, and that covers both the sensor development as well as the missile development and even portions of other missile defense systems like laser based defenses. There is no other ally more significant to the US than Japan, & one only has to look at the US investment into Japanese Security to have that validated.
I could be behind in information though.

Im so glad you finally got around to reacting to the F-22....probably the greatest fighter ever created by our military and might always be the crowning achievement. The ability to create such a stealthy fighter (only rivaled by the B-2 in terms of undetectability) while maintaining amazing aerodynamic maneuvering and the addition of not just super speed but maintained speed was revolutionary. Its always so hard to wrap my head around the fact this jet was already being developed over 30 years ago. Its still probably the most feared aircraft we can put out.
And no you would not have seen any deployed by Portugal since we never made this beast available to any other country which correct me if im crazy, i believe is the only relatively recent fighter/multi-role aircraft we can say that about. Lets hope we can feel this strongly about the creation of our upcoming 6th gen fighters when they come out.

The A-10 Warthog utterly amazing at dominating the battlefield. But only after air superiority has been established. Which means, all major enemy aircraft and anti-air weapons need to be suppressed before the A-10 can take to the skies.
The A-10 is slow, and vulnerable, and has zero stealth capability.
So the first wave of attacks need to be fighter jets, to clear the skies, and SEAD missions to neutralize radar and SAM sites.

The F22 is designed specifically to secure and protect the airspace. They are part of plans for initial attacks, and plans to intercept aircrafts that encroach on airspace that they are protecting. Each aircraft is designed to work in different types of airspace for different jobs. The A-10 is designed for close air to ground support when there is little to no risk from other air assets. The F-16 you mentioned, is specifically designed as an interceptor roll. Look up sandbox news airpower (I believe is the YT channel). @hu._- Yeah, it's crazy how many different aircraft the military has that are all designed for different reasons. Crazier still is how we then adapted them to fill other rolls. The 15 was specifically built to counter a Russian threat that never really existed and then became one of the premier interceptors/ ground attack aircraft. The 16, if I'm not mistaken, was originally designed as an interceptor roll. Designed to be cheap to produce and maintain, with the idea that due to its cost, they could produce an overwhelming number of them quickly. Their additional goal was to create a capable exportable aircraft for other nations.

The reason for the F22 production to stop wasn't really that peer to peer conflict was believed to be a relic of the past, rather the conflicts the US was fighting at the time were primarily counter insurgency missions where expensive air superiority fighters weren't deemed to be very valuable, and at the same time the little brother to the F-22, the F-35 was being introduced with a number of advanced electronic improvements and a production run that was going to make the F-35 much cheaper in the long run to produce. It came down to budget limitations. Buying more cheaper, more high-tech, more versatile F-35s made more sense than continuing production of the specialized but still highly capable F-22. there a series of expected improvements for the F-22 to help keep it in service until it's replacement program, NGAD, goes into effect in the next decade. Also, keep in mind the US only produced 195 F-22s but 195 F22s are more aircraft than most countries have in total in their whole air force. And that's just one type of fighter in one branch of the US military(the US Navy and US Marine Corps have their own separate aviation fleets with F-35 and F-18A, et al.).

Basically F-22 is a stealth air superiority fighter which fights against other enemy air assets it's only job is to take down other Jets. the A-10 Warthog is a ground attack aircraft it is used to support the Infantry on the ground and take out enemy armor and infantry or structure it doesn't have any stealth characteristic compare to the F-22 and A10 is a lot slower but can carry more precision air-to-ground ordinance and also has a huge 30 mm gun on the nose

Surprisingly we have many airplane types for many roles, so huge numbers of f22s aren't necessary. They're built for total air dominance against premier front line fighters, like the f18 hornet, but the f35, f15, and f16s are used for second line duty, and more standard missions, after the elite threats have been eliminated.

The AC-130s are nicknamed The Angle of Death in some circles. The A-10 Warthog, the Drones, the Apache helicopter, the Cobra helicopter, and the AC-130 are all designed as for what’s called close air support. These aircraft work in cooperation with the long range artillery, missile batteries, and Naval fire support. If using long range fire support isn’t possible for one reason or another than they close air support aircraft are used. The F-22 and other fighter aircraft are designed for fast attack situations, interception missions, and air to air operations.

Often, they had to nerf the stealth capabilities of the F-22 to give the enemy a chance in stimulated fights.
Meaning they were detectable on radar, which wouldn't happen in actual combat. Not by other aircraft.

The AIM-9x is the latest in the shorter range air-to-air missiles. It uses heatseaking/optical tracking. The off bore-sight (90 degrees off bore sight) means that the missile can track targets that are 90 degrees from the direction its pointing.

With the helmet mounted sight you can fire missiles off board which basically means you don't have to point the aircraft nose at your enemy lock on and fire they could fire from basically any angle as long as you can see it and in the F-35 case even from behind and the missile will track and hit its Target it's a huge Step Up compared to normal fighter jets where you have to point your nose and sight to lock onto your enemy with the heads up display before you can fire. with the new helmet and aim 9x missile you can basically fire at any angle as long as you can see him you can lock him and Fire also the heads up display is in your helmet visor so everything is basically there to see your instruments so you don't have to take your eyes off the target. if you look at the F-35 helmet it's one of the most craziest engineering I have seen on a jet and with the F-22 getting it it will definitely increase the Pilots and jet capability

F-16 is a very good plane. The platform is almost 50 years old, but the avionics, engines, materials, and armaments have all been regularly upgraded. The first Honda Civic was built in the early 1970s and if you compare that car to the modern one, it’s easy to understand how much better the modern blocks of F-16 are.

A-10: take out anything on the ground. It usually focuses on quick strike targets. Take out tanks, artillery, enemy entrenchments. Then fly back to base or to the next target. But it generally doesn't hang around in the active battlefield for long. CA-130: hang out over a battlefield for a prolonged time just circling and taking out any threat that pops its head up. B-2: bomber: fly WAY over there, take out buildings, and fly back. F-15: Air Superiority Fighter. It goes out and takes out those last 3 plane's enemy equivalent as well as any enemy fighters. F-22: latest generation Air Superiority STEALTH Fighter. It takes out the things that the enemy might try to use to take down an F-15. IT is the top of the arial combat food chain. It is probably faster than the other plane, it is definitely more maneuverable than the other plane and it is functionally invisible. If it is in the air and it comes up against an F-22, it will not be in the air anymore.

The helmet mounted sight with the new ammram and sidewinder missles allow the pilot to use the display in the helmet to lock and fire on targets without the need to use or even look at the HUD. the pilet can shoot at targets he locks on to that are to the sides of his jet. Presently, the F-22 is on the chopping block for replacement. The F-35s and new XF-15 are the newest, with an NGAD replacement in the works. So, thought the F-22 is currently the best US air superiority craft, with the F-35 being more adaptable and inexpensive 'general purpose' craft, the expected NGAD is supposed to be even more stealthy and versatile yet.

part of the thinking behind canceling the f-22 actually was connected to 9-11- the key part is that they thought "high-end state on state" war was a thing of the past, meaning they thought warfare would be more guerilla/terrorist threats than other states actually trying to invade/bomb you. not that they thought war/conflict itself was a thing of the past.

I did not see anyone comment on the off-bore sight feature of the Aim 9X, just for this guys info.. it allows the plane to fire a short-range missile without having to point the nose, (radar) directly at the plane.. this gives much wider range of firing solutions to the pilot to defeat enemy aircraft. Just another cool toy that operates outside the parameters that other pilots and craft cannot do.

The A-10 Thunderbolt (aka the A-10 Warthog) is mainly used for ground assaults, flying low to aid allied forces and DEMOLISHING enemy forces. The F-22 Raptor, from what I currently know (but I could be wrong), can do the same thing and more, since it's supposed to be an air-superiority aircraft like the F-15 Eagle. Since the F-22 is a stealth aircraft, so it can be harder to track on radar.

The F-22 is for air-to-air combat only, and is not a multi-role air/ground strike plane like the F-35 is. It is specifically built to kill ANY airborne opposition. The A-10 Warthog is for ground support.

The A-10 Warthog role was more of air support specialist, it's main purpose was to provide air cover to the men on the ground and to take out strategic ground targets before friendly ground units moved in. F-22 Raptor well as the name implies, is a hunter killer. It's main roll is to find hostile air targets and either take them down or use their advantage in stealth technology to make any hostile aircraft to disengage. But, the F-22 is also capable of air to ground combat as well, if needed. Last but not least, we have the F-35 Lightning which is an all around combat aircraft, good at pretty much all forms of combat. By no means am I a specialist, I'm only going by what I have seen on Google, Wikipedia and RUclips. That being said, If I have made any false or nonfactual comments, I apologize in advance.

When they said they added the AIM9X off bore sight missile means the pilot can look to their left or right, lock on a target by sight and fire the missile...it will curve to the target via off bore (bore being where the plane is pointed like a rifle's bore/barrel)...basically they can curve their shots very well.

This is one of my favorite F-22 stories. 2 Iranian F-4 Phantoms were sent after an American MQ-1 Predator Drone that was near Iran. The Iranians thought the drone was alone because they couldn't detect the F-22 with radar so they didn't realize there were 2 F-22 Raptors escorting the drone. Both of the F-22s came up behind the F-4s, one of them went below the 2 F-4s, visually checked out the jets' payload, and flew to the left of the F-4's. The pilots were apparently very surprised to suddenly find an American jet to their left. The F-22 pilot looked at the F-4 pilots and said over the radio while looking at them: "You should go home now." The pilots promptly left after being told that.
Here's a great short video on that interaction if interested: ruclips.net/video/6-3iTIdzsD4/видео.html

The main role of the F22 is to make other enemy planes too scared to fly, and shoot down any stupid enough to try. It's almost impossible to see by radar, but enemies know it's out there somewhere, and they have no way of knowing if they're currently being hunted until it's too late.

The USA will only sell its most advanced military tech to its closest allies (UK, Israel, Japan, etc) but the F-22 has not been sold to any other country.
The F-16 is part of the “fourth generation” of fighter jets that debuted in the 70s. It’s the most widely sold USA fighter jet and operated by many militaries around the world. It’s still an extremely capable multi role fighter/bomber especially if the country in question has good relations with the USA and this has more current versions.
You should do a video on the F-15 which is arguably the greatest fighter jet of all time. Still in service in the USA Air Force almost 50 years after the platform debuted, and just received a major upgrade to take the place of the cancelled F-22 production. The F-15 holds multiple speed and altitude records and has NEVER been shot down in air to air combat (with over 100 victories).

I think this is my first time commenting on anything u've posted so I wanna start this off by saying, I really enjoyed the reaction n i'm really glad I found ur channel a few days ago. Binged a bunch of ur reactions. It did take a bit to adjust to ur accent since it's so strong but I appreciate how much u do try and ur definitely easier to understand the more I watch. I watch on my TV most often which leads to not commenting, but I always watch til the end unless I'm watching the start so it ends up in my history to continue watching when I have more time to. There r a few things that I wanted to say after watching, that I forgot about almost immediately. Since this comment is already so long (I wrote 2 paragraphs before I wrote this top section so I already know it's long af and just gonna get longer) I'm gonna add the 1 comment that I remember wanting to say before n forgetting to.
Warning, the rest of this comment is just as long, if not longer, than this first paragraph. Each section is labeled so u can easily skip that 1 comment part if u'd like to just get to the recommendations or the opposite 😅.
That one thing (originally meant to be commented on response to the question about y Mr. Beat didn't include Lincoln on his top 10 presidents list): Lincoln is generally know as one of the US's best presidents of all time. In some ways, he is. In others, that view of him can be harmful. He, just like most presidents of that era, was EXTREMELY racist towards the indigenous peoples of the US. Its never addressed and half of the population has no clue he ever did anything bad. We're all flawed, yes. "Honest Abe" is no different in that respect. But we need to take those figures down from their pedistals and look at all sides before we put them back up. Knowledge allows one to make their own judgements. I won't tell u how to feel about him. I'm still not sure how I fell about him and I learned about that side of things back in 2020. U asked in one of ur most recent reactions whether u should react to anything about Native peoples of the US. I definitely think u should, but I don't have anyone to recommend for that purpose. Schools don't teach much about native peoples. When they do, it's always in relation to history and never about modern tribes and their ongoing struggles to just keep their land and families together. It took a lot of research to learn anything about the only tribe left in my state. The rest were all pushed west by colonial people. Abe pushed them further west and his orders resulted n a lot of indigenous deaths. For anyone that adores him and knows of none of the bad things he did, its devestating. Some ppl even go through the stages of grief starting with denial. I recommend doing research or finding a good source to react to that can give u more information about him. I intended to comment about this under ur top 10 presidents reaction because I have to assume this is the #1 reason y he wasn't on Mr. Beat's list.
Recommendations for a future reaction/reaction series:
-Someone with an indigenous background discussing modern indigenous issues.
-Someone discussing Lincoln's darker side, and y he's not a hero for the native peoples of this country.
-(Something more lighthearted n somewhat accidentally educational occasionally) Drew Durnil's channel. Not his really old vids but his vids from the last year or so. He reads lots of country ball comics, discusses informational maps, and sometimes does completely sarcastic videos about maps that either say something obvious or something so hilariously opposite to the truth that there's no way u can talk about it seriously. As an autistic person, I'd say he does a great job at making it clear when he's being sarcastic. Its a really good introduction to countryballs so I really suggest reacting to one of his vids on countryballs before reacting to countryballs content of other kinds. I can't think of one off the top of my head that would be a really good introduction but I'm sure a lot of ur community already watches him and could give good suggestions. If not, i could try to find a good one that would explain some important tropes or count maybe make a list of the big tropes if u'd like.
-I also think u should go to the channel "Habitual Linecrosser" n watch a bunch of this vids. He mostly does shorts n shorts style vids. (This recommendation was the original purpose of this comment, then I realized I had a lot more I wanted to say first so I decided to add all the stuff that came before this part.)
Explanations about Habitual Linecrosser's channel and reasons to watch/react:
He's a military guy who does country personification content, speaking as countries using maps to explain modern conflicts n make interaction related jokes between said countries. His channel name is because he sometimes goes a bit close to that delicate line of comedy between acceptable n unacceptable. But I really enjoy his stuff n he's given persona's to certain air force and naval machines, including the F-22. If u would like to react to his stuff, maybe scroll to the bottom of his shorts page n start there. I think he made a playlist as well, but i'm caught up on his stuff so i've never actually looked. I'd say his humor is similar to the fat electrician cuz of that general military humor ig. I've never seen anyone react to him, but that's probably because he's fairly new to the youtube scene compared to a lot of other creators. He seems like a great guy n is one of my personal favorite news sources since u often get military related updates from him before even a single news article gets published. I think it would be great content to react to but it might require a bit of setting up if he doesn't have a good playlist. I'm not sure if he has a policy about reactions since it really hasn't happened yet, so maybe reach out to see if he's good with u reacting (i bet he would be) if u wanna confirm that first.
I hope this comment has been at least somewhat clear and understandable. I couldn't come up with a way to keep it shorter right now. Maybe I'll be able to come up with a way to sum it up later or tomorrow. If I do, I'll add a reply to this comment with the summary n will update the end of this to say that I did so.
    Have a great night/day 😊.

A little more information for you.
First, when I was 15 I wanted to be a fighter pilot, I was in Air Force junior ROTC in high school. My goal; to fly the F-15 Eagle.
In world War II, our planes dominated the air, the P-51D mustang, the p38 lightning, the f4u Corsair as well as the British spitfire were absolutely dominant fighter aircraft.
We still dominated in the Korean conflict, but by the time Vietnam rolled around our technology and strategy for air-to-air combat head lag behind and we barely had a two to one ratio.
A group of experts in air-to-air combat called the fighter. Mafia came up with a formula for fighter aircraft to be maneuverable, fast and deadly.
The byproduct of that was the F-16 falcon which you said your country has, and the F-15 Eagle. Are allies have including Israel, Saudi Arabia and Japan. Japan is the only country allowed to make them outside of the United States.
The F-16 falcon has an air-to-air combat record of 71 to 0. You're going to see that number go up soon, Ukraine has them and their pilots are almost fully trained on the aircraft. The F-16 has active radar for both air and ground. They can be shared with allied forces.
Ukraine already has M1A1 Abrams tanks in place. So when the falcons take to the air, they will be able to target a Russian t90 tank, share that location precisely with an m1a1 Abrams which can be traveling at 60 mph. Mph turn its turret use the targeting information from the falcon and one shot one kill the t90 without them ever being able to see the Abrams. The Abrams won't even have to have line of sight to kill the t90. Having F-16 in the air is a game changer for both the air and land abilities of Ukraine in the coming year.
The F-15 Eagle, the most dominant fighter aircraft ever built. When you watch one just know this plane is the only aircraft that fully fueled and fully armed can break the sound barrier going straight up. Fully fueled and fully armed. It weighs about 45,000 lb. It has 80,000 pounds of thrust, it has two of the engines that power the F-16.
The record of the F-15 Eagle in air to air combat is 104 to 0. So the combined effort of the eagle and the falcon are 175 to 0. These two planes are what won the Cold War. Even today Russia has nothing that can shoot one of them down.
In the first Gulf War in 1992 an F-15 and a MIG 25 approached each other at over Mach 3. Closing speed. The MiG-25 turned and tried to run. The F-15 Eagle did a 12G turn and killed Iraqi plane in seconds. That means a 200 lb pilot would have weighed 2400 lb. In that turn. His head alone would have weighed 240 lb. The most impressive thing about our pilots is DF15 pilots do not wear a g-suit. It interferes with the joystick because the joystick is between the legs instead of off to the side like the falcon and raptor.
So now you know the dominance of the F-15 eagle, the most terrifying aircraft for enemy countries over the past 50 years.
The F-22 raptor is as much above the competition as the eagle was its competition. When they were talking about scenarios they meant like top gun. If you've seen the movie top gun or the sequel you know what the training is like. You have pilots chasing each other trying to kill each other in air to air combat but it is simulated. You're just actually flying so you get the experience. They have flight simulators as well, but it's not the same.
In one simulation, they took five of the best F-15 pilots in the world and pitted them against one F-22 raptor. The raptor kills all five at 15s every single time by itself.
    4. F22 raptors are expected to be able to kill 32 enemy aircraft no matter which country or which planes without losing a single aircraft.
The F-22 raptor is extraordinarily maneuverable and has vector thrust which means they can channel the thrust up or down to make the plane go up or down faster.
They have 22 is technically invisible. Remember when they were talking about the missiles being able to destroy the enemies before they could even see them. They weren't kidding. Imagine being in an aircraft and nothing is on your radar, but although a sudden 15 missiles come flying in to kill you and your fellow pilots. You still can't see them, you may never see them on target. Imagine trying to use radar to detect a bumblebee from 100 mi away. That's literally what your tasked with doing. The radar. Signature of an F-22 raptor is the size of a bumblebee or a marble.
In 2013 Iran shot down one of our drones. So they put a couple of f-22s up in the air to protect them. Two Iranian pilots were targeting another drone. As they were approaching the drone and requesting permission to shoot the drone down, the F-22 raptor and its pilot were literally right behind them. A little underneath them. Their radar didn't detect anything.
It wasn't until the F-22 pilot eased his plane up in between the two Iranian aircraft and communicated with them telling him he thought they should probably go home now. To which they quickly broke off and flew home knowing that they were dead if they didn't.
The reason the F-22 was canceled, cost. I don't remember the exact figures so I'm ballparking it. NF22 raptor costs approximately 350 million to produce. Maintenance and repairs cost approximately $50,000 per flight hour. So it's not just expensive, because of its high-end needs. It is also expensive to maintain.
And one final thing, when Vladimir Putin threatened NATO last spring, President Biden sent 12 F-22 raptors and their crew to Poland. Poland. Four f22 raptors are expected to destroy 32 planes without losing one. So that squadron of 12 F-22 raptors is expected to destroy 128 Russian aircraft without losing a single plane. And that's not an exaggeration. If Vladimir Putin tried to attack Poland, his entire Air Force would be destroyed in less than an hour. He would have no airplanes left in his Air Force.
    And he knows it.

The F-22 also has a Radar Cross Section size of a large insect. What we call a Bumblebee.

It is not about having the "best plane" overall. It's having the best plane for each specific roll.

7:52 The letters before the numbers tell you an American military plane's role. So, the A, as in the A-10 Warthog, stands for attack. Attack craft are primarily used to hit ground targets like tank convoys or artillerypositions. The F, as in the F-22, stands for Fighter. Fighters are for air-to-air combat. You also have hybrid craft like the F/A-18, which can bomb ground targets and then fight its way out in dogfights. C stands for Cargo, like in the C-130. You also have hybrids like the AC-130, which is a cargo plane with tons of guns. B is for Bomber, like in the B-2. These are mostly long-range stealth aircraft designed to drop tons of bombs on stationary points and will usually have fighter support to protect them. The last relevant designator is E, which stands for Electronic. This will be for things like the E-2 Hawkeye, which is typically used for monitoring and coordinating the sky.
The numbers are differentiators for different types of plane within a role. They don't carry over from role to role, so the B-2 and E-2 aren't the same plane but set up differently. They're completely different planes. Then, letters after the numbers are there to differentiate between revisions of a type of craft, so a C-130H has the upgrades from the 80s, then a C-130J is the fully modernized version of the same plane.

To explain the helmet upgrade- assuming I understand it myself- essentially it's a VR helmet that lets you see everything the computer is telling you as you look around. Radar finds an enemy plane? Now it's highlighted for you, it tells you how far away it is, etc. Ally plane? It tells you that, too. I believe it can even show you the lead of the plane so you know where to aim the guns and still hit. And all of this you can see as you turn your head around, even "through" your own plane. You could look down and see it.
Somebody else could probably be a lot more accurate, but that's what I think it's about

Nobody but the U.S. has the F-22 Raptor. It's the only airframe we do not export to anyone. It's radar cross section, RCS, is lower than any other plane at 0.003 meter squared or about the size of a bubble bee. So, even if you pick it up on radar, good luck recognizing what it is and even better luck trying to track it. By the time you realize it's around you have already been blown up.

Modern fighter F-22 & F-35, but don’t count out the F-15Cs and Es, but we still have the A-10C Warthog for killing armor also B-52 for bombing everything

The F-22 is basically the most powerful and advanced Air Superiority Fighter ever built. It used the knowledge gained from its predecessor, the F-15 and F-14and improved upon it. (Air Superiority meaning it focuses primarily on defeating enemy fighters). However its yet to go up against any air target, whether thats because its in the wrong place at the wrong time, or simply other air forces dont want to mess with it, so it doesnt have any combat experience. But it has engaged in war games and training in which it defeated some of the US fighters without any issue. So i have no doubt if and when the F-22 faces off against actual enemy fighters, it will reign supreme

I think the f22 would be air support for the a10 warthog. By my understanding it sounds like the warthog protects the ground troops, the f22 protects the warthog. Which also protects the troops.

New helmet allows 360 view completely around aircraft and shoot targets behind him.
Didn't hear but the new 9X is stealth on it.
    Thanks

The part where you said "I don't understand a thing he said", the AIM-9 x is a missile that can shoot down planes behind you
