Ya know, we all have great influences. In the early 80's it was Frankie Banali and Neil Peart for me. I just wanted to play like them. I wanted to do everything like my heroes. Looking back, it was good direction. Frankie Banali set the mold for the entire hair metal scene. Super solid player, and always reliable. He set the mold for Johnny Dee and guys that are just super straight and professional and super solid. Frankie is under rated. He is to modern rock, what Ginger Baker is to classic rock.
If this is the last time we're ever gonna hear DuBrow, Banali, and Sarzo on a track, then it's a beautiful final song to hear them on. Wow...that made me genuinely emotional...
@@KISStributeNYC97 Word from guitarist Alex Grossi is thay there is "a very good chance" there's more lost songs with Kevin on vocals and Frankie on drums

My youth wouldn’t have been the same without Quiet Riot. I can remember having to buy a second audio cassette of “Mental Health”, because I wore the first one out. One of the greats!
Listened to this song at 2am in a 24hr vet clinic parking lot with my 20 year old Jack Russell in my arms after he passed. My best friend. 2004 - April 21, 2024. RIP Scruffy. See you on the other side, bud.
Amazing! I've been a Quiet Riot fan since day one. Hearing Kevin's voice again here sent shivers down my spine. Thanks to all who made this happen. It's an instant classic for me. Long live the legends of QUIET RIOT!
As someone currently battling cancer, before anyone feels sorry for me, everything looks good for me but I feel like once you have cancer you’re waiting for the other show to drop so you become jaded and guarded. This video is so so SO hard to watch. Seeing Frankie go through what he did is completely heartbreaking. Despite all of that I do love this song and video it just hits hard. Never made it through without shedding tears. My heart goes out to his family, his Quiet Riot family and everyone else battling the various versions of this fucking disease! FUCK CANCER!!!
