Feel better soon Jem. Your customer service is fantastic to see, you have such a lovely way about you. I come up maybe once or twice a year to watch Liverpool and I am alway blown away by the warmth and friendliness of Liverpudlians
Jem, long time viewer, first commenter. You guys are the true backbone of modern society. Keep the sanitation blockage free so we we no longer die of cholera. I love how you could hear in the lady's voice, just how appreciative she is of you. I'm a sparky from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Keep up the good work gaffer.
Proffessionaly cleaned that one jetter 1! Wipes wipes wipes!! Easily done without any equipment too, a lesson for everyone to learn if they can stomach it ✌👌👍🍻
It's nice to see someone who cares about the work you do, you guys always go the extra distance to make sure the job is done correctly and all the extra stuff that you probably don't have to do like cleaning. Keep up the good work.
Top job Jem as ever in spite of you being under the weather. Hope you're better soon x Send our wishes to the team. From Simeon and Ruth now back in Chesterfield
Hope you feel better Jem! As always with Jem, kind and professional, leaving the scene smelling better than when he arrived. 5 Star Service with The Drain Unblockers!!! 👀🏳️🌈
When are we going to meet Jenny ? She does a great job editing, feels like there’s a key member of the team we’ve never met ! Thanks for all the great videos
As a gardener, I always ask if they have outside water. 1, to clean my gear off incase of dog bombs, 2 water in weed and feed and 3 for weed killer. I now ask "has it got any pressure behind it!" It drives me mad when you get the hose pipe out and it trickles out like this. Still, better than nothing.
Get well Jen! If there was better water pressure over there, you would have been able to get home faster and take care of that man flu (What is that 10 mins to fill the bucket)! For a second there at the end, I thought you were going to sit down on one of those couches. BTW, I'm thinking of investing in a disinfectant company, Nice and clean, love it!
@@tehs3raph1m I don't know of any 'wipes' that are truly flushable. I did a week at a Thames Water treatment plant and they confirmed this. You should see the filters they have to catch these wipes. They have to clean them almost every hour. If they fall apart like toilet paper does when they get wet, they are not very good wipes 😁
No wipe on the market is safe to flush. They will ALL flush. Concrete will also flush, but in the end... clog. The only thing safe to flush is toilet paper 🧻
Here it is, 12:40 am on a Tuesday, and I'm watching an Englishman I can hardly understand unclogging drains... Can't complain. On a side note, I could piss a better stream than that hose. The lack of pressure has to make life difficult
When urologists talk about the strength of urine flow in men, they say that someone has 'a non-competitive stream'. Which I assume means 'wouldn't win any pissing contests'.
You did well dealing with the furniture man and a cold. Plenty of lemsip will get you back to full capacity!! Do you ever use a drain snake on any jobs?
Jem get well soon from the man Flu and your back is OK and don't work 💼 to hard on your back I love ❤️ your video 📷 the are the best ones to see #GetWellSoonJemFromManFlu
Your bread and butter is the man of the house unable to lift a manhole cover and pull a piece of angle iron out of the manhole and give it a good hose down
Like my youngest son says Jem "its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice. We had an objectionable neighbour when I was a kid and my dad a man who didn't mince his words, said of her "she's a sh**e and not a good one of them ! ✌❤ Bob.
Didn’t understand much but I did understand women wanting more and more and spending. I think that’s universal language for men. Haha. Great work and get better soon.
Is water pressure always that bad in Britain? I've never seen an unblocking video where there's decent pressure in the garden hose. Love the videos, cheers!
GB has a weird system when it comes to fresh water. I only recently learned it. In the US, Canada, Australia you have city water and pressure. Direct line under pressure, maybe 35psi. My mates house, 300 years old, has a cistern in the attic. I thought it was the age of the house, but another mate has a new home, same thing. I guess it works for them, but just seemed a bit old fashioned.
It depends on the property really. Our hot water systems used to be a gravity-fed setup where a cold water cistern in the loft/attic would feed a copper cylinder (typically either indirectly heated from a boiler, or with an electric immersion element) for the hot water. The bathroom would usually draw its cold water from this cistern also, so that hot + cold pressure were equal, but the kitchen tap would normally be directly from the mains. This property looks like it has it's bathroom downstairs, so the hose might be being run from a bathroom tap
I was wondering about the wipes. If they’re not removed and are washed further down the system…do they cause problems further along? Or are the pipes much bigger further along so it’s not a problem?
Wipes cause big trouble at the treatment plant and costs big money to sort out. They don't just clog up smaller residential pipes, they can shut down treatment ops while wipes get picked out of equipment and sent to a landfill. There are many videos on YT about the wipes problem at municipal sewage plants.
Wipes should be banned from the planet. Didn’t have them growing up and we all survived. Such a racket. Plus why would anyone flush them? Feel sorry for the lack of water pressure. Love how your country has easy access to home sewer pipes. Smart design.
Have you and the boys won the lottery as there say shite for look ask if I send you and some sweets way do I send them as I live at prudhoe Northumberland
Those dam wipes , there should be laws against labeling them as flushable , I am by no means a plumber or a drain expert , but the first time I ever heard of them I knew it was a sham , If folks think they need a wet wipe after relieving themself , jump in the dam shower lol. I guess on the positive side , it gives the drain men plenty of work to do , job security in a sense.
Mersey Rod; what a bunch of respectful and kind professionals.

Jem, you should have your own TV series. Your a natural!

Top job again m8 and great camera work you guys are the best cheers
“I do use them but I personally don’t put wipes down, it must be someone else” 😂
Must of been the dog digging them out of the trash and flushing them down.
It’s always the same excuse 😂 “it wasn’t me”
@@mattw8963 Wet wipes, if you don't buy them you can't flush them, it's not rocket science...
I do use wipes as well, but they go in the trash. I'm so fussy with my septic tank, I rarely even put paper in.
I hope your customers appreciate you! Feel better soon!
Majority do but as I’ve said before we always get the odd strange one 😁😁
Very nice video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.

Great water pressure about like it is my house. Lol.. great video again as usual. 👀👍
The camera angle @13:24 is a classic
I was surprised you did not quote for a new manhole and frame Gem. good job is done.
Ques: What is the name of the disinfectant that you are using? TIA Congrats on the new little one...

Water pressure terrible like watching paint dry 😁😁
Top work, thanks for sharing.
Hi jem great video mate love the channel too
Cool Andy glad you enjoy 👍
Great job guys!! Too bad the water pressure is so weak, you probably could have finished sooner otherwise.
Isnt it amazing how nobody uses wipes but they are constantly blocking drains. I wonder where they all come from?😂
I use wipes and flush them (they are certified fine to flush) but I also know where my drain is and don't mind lifting it to clear if they get stuck.
It is a mystery isn't it.

Great job from the states united
Would have eaten my dinner off that floor by the time Jem was done with it.

The amount of disinfectant you use, can you not buy it in 210ltr bulk barrels?
Good job well done 🙏🇧🇧
Nice job! I recommend some strong ale for medicinal purposes as that'll take care of the flu and if not, you should be too whammed to care ;)

I knoticed the pressure too, but more so I think just about every video looks like it just rained or is just about to rain...
I was thinking the same thing. Doesn’t make their job any easier
Not all of Britain has that low pressure of water. I live in the south of England and my water pressure is good.
I was wondering about the wipes. If they’re not removed and are washed further down the system…do they cause problems further along? Or are the pipes much bigger further along so it’s not a problem?
Have to send through to main drain in roadway which can be huge 👍

There's more that should be banned from this planet, but that's a whole other story

Could the water pressure be any worse?
Painful 😞😞😞

Who's got man flu? Have some chicken soup.👍🏻
Omg the water pressure was driving me crazy…. It was so low

Whats a few skids on your undies when a blocked drain can cost a fortune. Thats my philosophy Jem ! Hakunah Matatata
Man Jem I can pee a harder stream than that water hose is putting out....is low water pressure a common thing there?
Water Pressure is apparently not a high priority item among the Estate Councils
Is it common in the U. K. To have such low water pressure?
Is that hose mains pressure?😥
