I lived in US for 4 years....my experience is that "it's both the Combination of the System & the People's attitude (mentality)" over there. The system is also stringent, strict...for eg., if anybody goes for Loo there, Cop can put a Fine upon him...so people won't do that..also good facilities would be there and mainly the attitude of the people...the cleanliness is being taught from the Childhood ....that makes a huge difference. Look at the Driving on the Roads for eg., there the Driving is done in a disciplined manner....and many more....these are all possible in our Country "when WE change OUR ATTITUDE"!!! Let's change it for Good, at least now!! pls...

दूर के ढोल सुहाने लगते है ये सुना था लेकिन अब विदेश में सालो गुजारके समझ आने लगा है कि सब कुछ सुंदर होता है पर माँ बाप भाई बहन पड़ोसी रिश्तेदार शादियां जनेऊ रास्ते की चाट सड़क पर भीड़ के बीच दुकाने उनपर इकठ्ठा होकर खाने पीने शोर शराबे की बीच त्योहार ,घर के सारे बड़े बच्चे चाचे मामे मौसी के साथ वाली पिकनिक ये सब पीछे छूट जाते है फिर सालो निकल जाते है शुरुआत में लगता है तरक़्क़ी कर ली रईस बन गए फिर अब बच्चे बड़े हो गए जो यहीं की जिंदगी की इसी शान्ति से अपने विदेशी दोस्तो के साथ एडजस्ट हो गए अब नौकरी और अगली ज़िंदगी बस इसी जमीन पर गुजारना चाह रहे है तब तक हम लौटने का मन बना भी लिए हो तो पैर फिर रुक जाते है सैंडविच कंडीशन सी हो जाती है पहले हम तरक़्क़ी पैसा बड़े मकान कार को खरीद सकेइसके लिए अपने घर के लोगो को छोड़कर आये थे अब बच्चे यही रुकना चाहते है तो अब हम कैसे जाए लौटकर अपनो के लिए बस।।।।सवाल ही सवाल

rashmi singh This is landscaping. The whole area (society) is land scape. So houses build higher than road level (6 ft?). So during rain, water come down to road & even roads are design so that water goes to drain. You won’t see puddle. House design is another story.

Yes agar hamare yaha Australia mein agar koi gandagi failayega tau police, council officers unko fine kar denge. Australia mein har jagah cameras lage hue hain tau bachne kaa chances nahi hai. Sab fault logo kaa bhi nahi hai kyonki unko facilities nahi milti....
Australia mein har ghar mein government 2 rubbisn bins deti hai one for general waste and one for recycling. aur bin kaa size ek drum ke barabar hota hai aur fir us bin ko har week rubbish truck pick up karta hai matlab logo ko apna kuda bahar fenkne ke jarurat nahi padti. Kya india mein government houses mein bins provide karti hai aur kya har ghar rubbish truck aata hai pick up karne.. nahi naa. tau government aur logo dono kaa fault hai.
आपके कमेंट देखो कितनेे लायक हैं इस तरह आप समझ सकते हैं कि अभी हम लोगों की सोच वैसी है कि हम लोग गंदा करते हैं देश को लेकिन दरअसल हम लोगों को ना ही तो सफाई करनी आती है और ना ही कुछ ओर। सफाई कैसे की जाती है इन देशों से सीखो गवर्नमेंट कितना कुछ प्रोवाइड कराती है अगर गंदगी करेंगे तो फाइन लगेगा ऐसे जनमाना सही नहीं हो सकता। यह राम युग नहीं है अगर को गंदा करता है तो उस पर फाइन लगाया जाता है जुर्माना लगाया जाता है ना कि बस हाथ जोड़ते रहो की गंदगी मत फेलाओ गंदगी मत करो ऐसे ही सफाई नहीं होती है। मेहनत करनी पड़ती है। नियम बनाने पड़ते हैं । कानून बनाने पड़ते हैं ।लोगों परे थोपने में पड़ते हैं । नहीं माने तो इसका जुर्माना सजा होना पड़ता है । बस ऐसे ही कह दिया हम गंदे कर देते अगर इंडियन ही गन्दा करते करते हैं तो यहाँ जाकर करे कहीं यूरोपियन देशों में गंदा करें फाइन लगेगा जुर्माना लगेगा यहाँ लेकिन ऐसा कुछ नहीं लगता है जो मर्जी में है वैसा करो सब जगह भ्रष्टाचार फैला है नेता लोग ध्यान ही नहीं दे रहे हैं।

I lived in America for last 25 years and now since last 3 years I have been trying to adjust in India.
I live India but cleanliness in India is a joke. No one cares about cleanliness, educated, uneducated, grown up and children. Even though government has trash cans every where people don't use them. People from houses and shops clean their houses and leave garbage on the road not in the trash cans. I have made a policy if I see garbage in front of a shop or a house I do not enter that building. No matter what.

I feel if India becomes clean then irrespective of the street vendors, the country would be way better and loveable than other countries. You can't beat the street food, the roadside stalls, the cultural spread anywhere else. Population is one of the other problems, but that is something which can't be reduce now but only maintained better.
