It’s 💯 oil put on the road.... mt palomar here in San Diego, the residents and the bicyclist use to put oil slicks down trying to kill riders. Angelas crest bicyclist put down packets of nails to pop tires happened to me in my gt350...... people are assholes and dont realize their actions could kill riders or drivers just because their feelings get hurt with someone just trying to have some fun

I haven’t seen it on palomar in a while but my gt350 that was like a year ago. I literally had clumps off screws in my tires. I’m lucky the tire held pressure and didn’t send me careening off a cliff
There are some psychos out there. Pretty sad if someone would do that on purpose, which sounds like it would be attempted murder. More likely are some lazy construction workers that didn't secure their load.

What a coincidence, that dark SUV (or covered truck?) with blacked out windows just happens to be sitting downwind in the middle of nowhere, parked in the middle not on the edge of the side road with a clear line of sight near to the fresh odd-looking oil slick of the top road, oil smudged with a broom or something so it covers both sides. Then when the other bikes turn up he takes off, doesn't offer assistance. I feel sorry for the gixxer guy, and I think you guys were set up by whomever was in that SUV. Hope the plate is clear in a shot from yourself or someone.

Yup. A leaking vehicle does not leave a pattern like that. Look at how square and wide the heaviest spots are. It's as if it was gone over with a broom or something. He didn't want the dripping broom in the Jeep, so he let it hang off the back after driving away. That would explains the drip trail leading away from the seen back down to where he was parked. Hope the 360 cam got a clear shot of the license plate.

Glendora mountain road, bicyclists put gravel out on the turns then come back next outing looking for scratch marks on the road. I guess after being passed too close by motorcyclists some have decided to take matters into their own hands. Just remember to survey any road at speed limit before doing a quick lap. A lot of moto haters out there!
@@gregorymillichap777 I have heard of people doing stuff like that on GMR, not sure if its urban myth or what. I do know that riders obviously crash there every single weekend (told to me by police officers who patrol GMR and neighboring mountain roads). Once upon a time I was a cyclist too and DAMN some of those sportbike boys pass you purposely close almost. I always rode hugging the shoulder too.
Looks like someones vehicle was dropping oil and they did a u turn. Doubt it was intentional. Good idea to tour the street first. Oil or gravel in the turns could be bad.

You can tell who's a friend by the people that help your ass right after a crash. The other biker bikers could use every hand they can get because you all might need to link up hands to reach down amd get them. Crazy shit happens.
Crashes almost daily now🤔seriously time to ease up. It may go without saying, but oil on a road is not uncommon and hence why you have to ride at a pace where you have time to process hazards and react without crashing.

That was the gearbox, check lower right in the dashboard there is a big green N wich stands for neutral when you are rolling and in neutral you wanna give it some gas to match the speed of the gearbox or this is the sound you hear😜.

Just don't go on a Max Wrist Group ride, you'll be fine.
Don’t go on a group rides and you’ll decrease your odds of crashing. Making wise decisions beforehand is the key to limiting or eliminating the inevitable crash. It’s all about percentages and the choices you make. It sounds obvious but how many riders approach a ride thinking about the decisions they make during a ride and how it might increase or decrease their chances of a crash. The mental aspect of riding is as important as the skill you develop over time.
Ride solo, ride at speed limit, pretend like everyone is out to ram into you, anticipate any sort of danger situation and plan ahead, practice maneuvers before experiencing a slam on brake situation, train you brain to look away from danger, and look where you want to go, practice staying extremely light on handlebars and bike, to much rider input is what causes most riders to slide out, if you find you’re chopping throttle on bumps then you have to much pressure on handlebars, don’t rush into advancing, it’s better to take it slow, wear protective gear but make sure it doesn’t restrict your movement, straight jacket leathers will end up causing a crash, survey roads before speeding, ride at your own limit, leave ego at home, better to ride again than be RUclips famous, don’t let the go pro push you past your limits, ride when the sun if straight overhead, don’t ride on weekends or holidays. So much more but You get the point. It’s not as fun when factoring in all this stuff but the point of it is that you have a choice. Doesn’t mean you won’t crash even if you follow all these rules but does mean you will greatly lower your percentages of it happening.

The other riders need to ride to there skill level and not someone else’s. That’s why they are crashing, ride your ride not someone else’s.
What are your race pro modes set at? Obviously power is full and wheelie control off but like what do you set engine breaking and traction control to? Mines fully unlocked and I have the hardest time getting the wheel up even with full powers in 2nd and third after the flash for reference I’m 6’0 and 165 lbs not sure if it’s just my size or what all I can manage is to barely float the front wheel even if I’m giving it the beans
