Hi Daniel, thanks for the kind words! You can change that in the tool bar from the emulator, I believe its in the 4th column, you will find a "Controller" option and also a Hotkeys option

Hi, Can you help me. So when I try restart the run I have selected the second file for from Fireredfiles so new rando file shoould start when I press A + B + Start, but it is the same randomizer file as the frist one. SO there are the same 3 starter pokemons as the earlier run.
@@IT-KAIZO Hi bro, when you do the randomization, it should be different starters every time. Did you set the Folder where your roms are to select the second rom on it (example: you load random1, select random2 when you set the folder in the tracker). Try loading a few runs and see if the problem continues lmk

i know im abit late to comment, but any idea as to when i reset the game after the first attempt it changes the levels of trainer and wild pokemon, first time they are level 8 at the first battle, as soon as i restart it if i die they go up to level 12. Ive tried everything i can think of but nothing seems to be working
Hey mate, I ve seen some other people having the same problem! Make sure you didnt apply the patch twice by mistake! If not try this: 1. On new runs, select Generate Roms 2. As Rom, use the basic patched rom (not randomized) 3. As Jar, use the Randomizer you downloaded 4. In the other one, find a .rnqs file that says Fire Red Kaizo (its the one you saved when randomizing). You wont need premade files any more, so it should be no problem!

For some reason my ironmon tracker doesnt work after I open the rom and it says NLua.Exceptions.LuaScriptException: ironmon_tracker\screens\StartupScreen.lua:127: attempt to index a nil value (field 'StartupScreen'). How do i fix this?
Yo hello there! After you open the emulator and tracker, try to open the "clean" rom you have (not randomized) and see if you still get an error message. If you do not, try applying the patches and everyting one more time. If after that you still have the error going, join the discord pinned in the comments where we can help you better!

The problem is that i didit , the version of the game is the 1.1, the patch is the "faster firered 1.2" and i patched it but when i go for the patch editor and i load it it says that error. any idea on how to solve it?
Hi Aaron! If you have created the log of each rom when you were randomizing, they should be working fine! If you check the folder where the roms are, each one should an extra file below that says log. Let me know if they dont work, we can look into it more deeplu

Okay I got everything working except My rival starts with a lvl 12 pokemoN? I thought he is supposed to start with lvl 8 pokemon...

Is The Emulator not opening? The Lua Console or the game? If it is the emu, just try reinstalling it
The emulator wasn't, but i fixed it by adding some DLL files to the directory of it@@mazyyKaizo
