Just as a note regarding the Shisui gear. Since it's a leveling dungeon you actually can't have bad rng on the drop. Every time you clear a leveling dungeon you get 1 piece from the gear set of the class you're currently playing. So you hit the pity system after like 10-11 runs where you just will have gotten every piece (unless you discarded the pieces you didn't want while farming)
Only if you do it in the dungeon finder. If you solo it, you can still have terrible rng. I've unsync soloed it and ran it 20+ times and still never got the full set.
Small tip so people don't repeat my idiocy: Don't bother hoarding MGP Platinum Cards waiting for Make it Rain or anything else like that. The Platinum Cards always reward a flat 30k MGP no matter what, no boosts apply.
That 2P card especially... I spent weeks solo queuing daily for the alliance raid. It was right before Dawntrail release. Half an hour queue time, and this is a long alliance raid. It can really be a pain to farm unless you have an organized group running it. And in the end when I finally got it, the game gave me two copies. So... not only can you Need on this even if you already have the card, but the RNG can give you both cards at the same time on top of it. And afaik, their is still no NPC to play triple triad with who drops it. Save yourself the pain, get it through the Moogle event.
I think itd be nice if you could only roll Need on cards you dont have. That way people in ARs who dont have a card can still roll greed if *somehow* the whole alliance raid already has a card but. That's doubtful
as mentioned in comments this moogle treasure trove will run parallel to all saint's wake. the halloween reward seems pretty useful this time, so better plan to spend some time in Gridania as side content /malevolence emote from MTT comes handy this time of the year :D
Since I got a bunch of mounts from the Moggle Tome Stone events and no longer need most of the mounts they put on them anymore, all I can say is, you can NEVER go wrong with grinding Moogle Tomes for MGP packets!
I've grinded Eureka alot and haven't seen the lockbox for the etiquette dropping. So I'd say its pretty rare, so 30 tomestones for it doesn't sound bad.
Btw there's a free login event going from today until Halloween. So just in time for this and All Saints Wake (starts on the 18th). Aitherea I'll delete this comment if you were planning on doing a video on this.
@@AeeanPlays You can take advantage of it as long as you haven't had an active sub for 30+ days. If possible, wait until next weekend so you can do All Saints as well. Subbing Fri or Sat lets you do Big Cacpot and Fashion Report as well. A Saturday resub lets you play Tuesday after the weekly reset

FYI. The maps not working on flight speed is a misconception started by a person who tested it with SDS Fenrir, not knowing that it has one level of upgraded speed built-in.

re: the innocence gwiber: when people say it's "one of the easier shb trials," they mean that unsynced, there are literally no mechanics. you do not have to learn anything, you'll burn it down before you see anything that could cause a wipe. at worst, a few people might get vulns, someone might die. just bring 1 healer and it's completely trivial.

you are misunderstanding the riding maps, they increase the speed of your mount in the zone in general, still to get the maps is not worth it from mog event since its pretty easy to farm with hunt marks for the expansions prior to shadowbringers and shared fate grinding for shadowbringers and on. so correct conclusion for the wrong reason
i will def get a questionable amount of maps and the ring! unsure if i'll get the drake cos i dont feel like grinding THEN spending 120k on a mount... we'll see lol
Wish they’d just call the allied societies “tribes” or “factions”. Even just “societies” I could live with, even tho it’s a mouthful. The allied just makes it worse, plus there’s an allied tier in the rep itself and it’s confusing.
yes i find it confusing too because of the allied quest that allows you to unite them all. they stopped calling them beast tribes and then just went to tribes and then changed again. I get it because its to steer away from the idea that all these races are like, beastial and "uncivilized" or something but idk maybe calling them "community" quests would be better. I still call them beast tribes a lot ngl xD
The Japanese word is just "friendly tribe" which is better, but not all of them are tribes. The kobolds are a labor union, the dwarves are a town, etc. Beast tribes never made sense. Sylphs are cabbage people. That ain't a beast!! Faction would be a lot better. I guess the translators want to dress up the language though.
I think riding maps also increase flight speed, but either way it's much easier to get them with hunt marks. I'm definitely going for the dragon, barding, and MGP tho!
I think the towels being on there are for people that absolutely loathe pvp... like most of my FC is losing their minds over towels being available lol

Allied society seems like something a corpo would come up with. They are not allied on any way or form. And some have grivances that are never addressed.They just tolerate the WoL and only the WoL. Is colonization. One group saying from now on your society are our allies an you have no saying on it. Next step will be taxation and you have no saying on it.

I like to buy all the buyable items during the event, when their prices are lower, to minimize the tomestone grind but still manage to get everything.

the grind is so much easier than it seems. It's like 10 mins of your time per day for like, 2 weeks xD. Def one of the easiest "grinds" in the game.
