    sir excellent thanks alot for your good description but i have questions in EX.1 why for cargo to be loaded you after (9.6-9.1 ) *35 also multiply 100 i do not understand this logic of multiply 100 ?

      Good question, I converted the difference in draft from metres to cms. This is required as the TPC is for the unit of cms. Hope you got it?

    Sir, in the 2nd question I assumed HF was behind H, but my final answer came -2 mtr. So should I take it +ve and conclude that my HF is fwd. Is that possible sir. Please advice

    Sir when density change and we need to find fwa then which displacement u should take..final displacement or intial.please advice

    • @SteeringMariners
      @SteeringMariners  4 года назад +1

      when the density changes, the under-water volume changes. The displacement remains the same. When the under-water volume changes, the draft changes (since the length and breadth of the vessel can't change). The difference in drafts is what gives you the allowance.

      @@SteeringMariners thanks for reply sir but when initial displacement is given and after that we load some other cargo that time which displacement we should consider for to find fwa and mctc.

    Sir i'm confusing how do you calculate the 2 meters result from forward of mid ship?
    IF;
    77,000 - 48,000 = 29,000
    200 * 175 =35,000
    35,000 - 29,000 = 6,000
    How do you calculate the 3,000 and the result of 2 meters forward of the mid ship?
