That zany comic genius comes at a personal price ...robin williams , richard prior and a few others lived through hell to bring us joy and laughter ....the real person inside cant sustain the comic genius forever
Robin Williams by the time you laughed at one of his jokes. He was already finshing the next line..His life was a burst of laughter Don't be sad that he is gone...You just haven't caught up to him yet..
I remember the first show of Mork and Mindy, my mom and me where laughing so hard that it woke my father, next week he joined us watching the next show and all 3 of us laughed. Thanks Robin William for being part of my childhood.
I was a teen when Robin was first presented before the TV audience on Happy Days, before he got his own show and Mork & Mindy was conceived. Blew us all away. Who was this guy? How I envy all the people who got to see raw Williams live on stage in comedy clubs before happy Days and before he acquired TV fame.
@@Doggeslife I remember that as well. Mork hovered in his "ship" near Fonzie's window, and without cracking a smile, Fonzie demands "who's going WEE WEE!" My mom just completely lost it, laughed for five minutes!
Nobody nobody cannot replace of the funniest man in history of Movie Makers life Robin Williams with best the funniest the best Genie I have ever seen I love him we all did he make us laugh oh man you never had a friend like me never had a friend like him he was our friend he was our favorite he was our hero make us laugh we miss you Robin Williams rest in peace
Garlic held it down! Nice job man. But gotta say, I was SOOOO relieved that they finally pointed out that Garlic and Cronouer were the same rank!!! That drove me nuts the whole time because i'm petty that way. haha! Such a classic film!
Speaking of this awesome movie, I said hello to the man who played his best friend. His name is Tom Tran I believe, (he played fun duc toh in the movie. I apologize. I spelled his character name wrong.) He is so friendly! And I asked him what it was like working with RW. He said that man is a sweetheart and so fun to work with! I told him that is great to hear. So that was the closest I got to Robin. But it was a great honor to speaking with his co-star! And the best part was if he still talks to the beautiful woman who played his sister, he said he still does but only as friends. I then asked if he could say hello from a secret admirer! He laughed and said he would! And he also said just for fun that I have a crush on her! And see if she will respond to my message! I told him great! But we'll see if he lets me know something.
When he got off the plane, he was dressed like a slob and had rose colored glasses. Now the glasses are off and he's dressed in a uniform. His experience has made him a wiser, better man.
While I don’t particularly care for the 3-1/2-inch “girl-sized” rank chevrons being worn here, I do wish we still had these cotton khaki uniforms AAAND round-neck undershirts in the books (like the Navy still does). While it was an honor to wear the blue uniform, good gosh it was never a practical office uniform in my specialty (w/in the AFMS). Most of the time we wore BDUs, and once upon a time we were authorized Hospital Whites, but some days I just didn’t want to be in combat boots and camo, not if I wasn’t scheduled to some “field work.” These tropical khakis filled that need, and if you drip some coffee or tea on it it’s not a disaster.
Can you imagine what he and George Carlin would be saying about commander bone spurs? I don't think they would have to write material. All ya gotta do is watch his film clips and your work is done.
@@ikonix360 really? You haven't seen much of either of them then. Carlin said "they call it the American dream, but that's because you gotta be asleep to fucking believe it". He disagrees with both parties and the president is fair game. Williams and Carlin both passed before dump made the big stage. I believe he would have sent the DOJ after them. Together they had more fans than most comedians combined.
This whole movie is BS. The real Adrian Cronauer wasn’t run out of Vietnam. He completed his tour of duty. The only real thing was his saying “ Good Morning Vietnam” otherwise this movie is false. I just watched a documentary about Cronauer
He actually said "Good Morning Vietnam" in a completely different way. If they made this movie like the reality nobody would be bothered to see it. Chill out dude..its a movie🥱 (actually a pretty good movie..)
Robin Williams is the only celebrity who I ever cried for.
Same her, although i believe i did shed a few for Freddie Mercury. He's was iconic also.
Mr Rogers
So do I. I can not believe, that this person has taken suizid, I am unable to understand it.
John candy

I had his 1st album. It was most excellent. Played it many times.

The man was a genius. No other way to put it.
This pairing of Robin and Forest was absolute gold!
Made you look. ......... but it’s still hard to hear/watch and know nobody knew what pain this amazing man was struggling with xx😢
It's still so hard to believe that he is not with us, even seven years later, almost to the day.
What a talent gone too early. The funnier the man, the more sadness he carries. So true
Such a great actor, he made it look so easy could play any part, just give him the script he was great! Ashame that he passed , he will be missed!
GOOD MORNING HEAVEN this is Robin Williams coming to you from Cloud #9, I'll be here making you laugh and cry so stay tuned !!!

LTAndrew Dixon nobody cannot? So somebody can?
Watch for the double negatives there
Moving ending to a great film. Love that old DC-8 too. Its a freighter so if Adrian is lucky he might just get a seat with a window.
Damn, what great times we had.....What great times we all had.....
Amazing.. RIP Robin one of kind!
Loved Forest Whitaker in this part.
Same here he's a funny guy in this one
Great movie...he will be missed
One of the saddest things is how Robin Williams met his reward. Seemed a genuinely good dude that deserved a better outcome. Thanks.

There will never be another Robin Williams..comedian genius
So sad to watch the takeoff while his signoff is playing.
O Captain! My Captain!
The guy was sooooo fucking good..Shit Great.
When he got off the plane, he was dressed like a slob and had rose colored glasses.
Now the glasses are off and he's dressed in a uniform.
His experience has made him a wiser, better man.
Forrest Whitaker was born in my hometown, Matthew McConnaghy graduated school here.
forrest whitaker is just great in this movie.

25th Infantry or The Electric Strawberry?
Oh yes.
Damn it...
That last part though
So long...
Except John Lennon. HIM ANS AND ROBIN 🌹🌹💖🇺🇸
😭the ending tho
Can you imagine what he and George Carlin would be saying about commander bone spurs? I don't think they would have to write material. All ya gotta do is watch his film clips and your work is done.
They wouldn't have anything bad or funny to say about Trump. At least Carlin wouldn't.

Why does 1:46 remind me of when Genie was set free and left to see the world?
Made you look
Hollywood. Making an awful war entertaining...
