    The gong fu method of brewing oolong is far superior to the method you've described. Not only do you get far more steeps out of what can be very expensive tea to import but it's going to give you so much better flavor, aroma, and enjoyment. Gong fu is absolutely the very best way to go.

    On one of my trips in Thailand we rode up North to a place where they grew Oolong tea. It was a beautiful place. I was told that the Chinese use to grow opium there.

      Fun Fact: the soil and environmental conditions that are best for growing and fermenting tea are also just about the best you could ask for if growing poppies. I live in the Northeastern US, so I've got to have a greenhouse to do just anywhere near as well.

    • @Hypercube9
      @Hypercube9 10 месяцев назад

      @@YikToChan Nope. Watch the video again, pay close attention to the 3:50 mark. That's where they FINALLY give the directions on how tea is MADE (according to the title)!
      I didn't hear you complaining when they explained how to HARVEST tea, or how to DRY tea, or how to TUMBLE the tea, or turn the tea into pellets! The final step in MAKING tea is always to brew it, otherwise what's the point? If I asked you for a cup of tea, would you bring me a cup of dried leaves?
