Love how you portrayed Neoptolemus. He’s often shown as being apart from the other heros besides his obvious youth. He’s pretty much the only hero in the war who signed up willingly for this, knowing the true nature and extent of the war. His father did join willingly to win glory in the war but was ground down by the brutal nature of the war and the death of Patroclus. Neoptolemus was pretty much the only one in the Greek army to know what the deal was and still rock up for the sack. Odysseus essentially breaks as a person in order to kill Astynax while Neoptolemus is here for the war crimes, in fact that’s the reason why he showed up. It’s the final form of trauma that the war brought about, a young man who was raised and forged to be a monster for the purpose of war and vengeance. This is what Astyanax would have become and why Odysseus cast him of the walls, when a man becomes a monster.
No, Odysseus cast him off the walls because he was a coward, unwilling to face the consequences of his actions. If he'd believed that Astynax wouldn't have brought vengeance to him, personally, he'd have let it slide.
Let's also not forget what he did to Hector's wife. She was kidnapped by the winning party and then was sold off to Achilles' son, who forced her to bear his children. Only after the man died was she able to find peace. And before anyone asks why she didn't commit suicide, according to ancient Greek customs, to kill oneself is to be an act against the gods themselves. Nicely done animation!
This is beautifully done. Love the style.
This is one of the best I've seen so far!!!! Neo's design, little Ajax being sad, Penelope's design, Zeus showing him the future in his palm, the baby design, the inside of the horse...everything was perfect
no way you just made me emotionally attached to characters that have 2 seconds of fame in the musical through your art style and this animatic. you’re AMAZING 🤩
This is probably one of the best animatics I've ever seen it flows so well and the characters are gorgeous!!!
Well done ❤
This is such a detailed and amazing animation! I know it's been a year of this but I hope you kept drawing because is truly so so so good!
I loved the take of Odysseus being struck by Zeus lightning!
@jonamaldo9588 smfh I replied with my non art account last time LMAO SORRY but yes thank you so much again for the support!! ♡ A new animatic is on its way :))
I keep listening to this song, different animatics of it and the one that immediately follows it and I just...
Inside I'm screaming "DENY THE GODS!" that it's the simple obvious choice... But... Then I keep thinking if I were in that position, would I find the answer so simple?
Would I be tempted the same as Odysseus our of fear and longing for home?
DUUUUUUDE respect on the highest levels!
This is mindblowing, incredible, amazing, fenomenal and I could go on all day….holy smokes this is beautiful…
AHHH thank you so much!! That's so kind of you :,))) ♡
PENELOOPEEEE~ AND TELEMACHUUUSSS~ I FIGHT FOR US I FIGHT FOR UUUSSS~🎶❤❤❤
I looooove it
Every animatic I've seen has various elements that one do better than the other, but I LOVE the Neo design here in both appearances! Good stuff!
This is so vastly underrated! this is amazing fantastic job!
Pure lil Ajax and omfg neo
this animatic is AMAZING! the character designs, the emotions that you managed to capture... it's awesome!
So amazing, beautiful selection of scenes and moments. great job
Thank you so much!! You're so sweet ♡
Oh dear!! I particularly love how you depict the future of the infant which finally makes up Odysseus's mind to be the murder!!!! That's a really brilliant design
I loved the way you had Zeus showing all of the characters in the palm of his hand. It really crystallized how helpless the mortals are in the hands of the gods. It was a subtle, but effective way to communicate the powerful forces influencing Odysseus. Bravo
Amazing job, absolutely beautiful work. I hope you do more songs from Epic. You are truly talented, I love how every character has a unique look, and I absolutely love how you drew Odysseus and Zeus
THIS IS SO GOOD OMGOMG THE EXPRESSIONSSS AND IT'S SO DYNAMIC??? AND OMG THE CHARACTER DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!! AAA this is incredible i love it so much omg:)))
Oh, I don't think I've seen anyone else make an animatic with Penelope surprising Odysseus as a spectre in the crowd!! WELL DONE. I LOVE IT. It fits so well with the music!
This was BRILLIANT!! I love your art style and everyone’s design!!
This is amazing!!
The designs for all the heroes r great, the shots r really cool... this is just so underrated. You've gained a new sub :))
I love what you did with Neo!!
Holy fuck, this looks amazing.
Thank you so much!! :D
PLEASE DO MORE EPIC! This animatic was absolute FIRE!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
AHHHH I PLAN TO!!! I am currently INCREDIBLY fixated on this musical so more is definitely on the way!! I just gotta get through finals so I can finally put my all into getting more out quicker!! Thank you so much!! :)) ♡
Good luck with your finals. I totally feel you on that one. 😫😫😫 Also, you got yourself a new sub. 👍
Aw thank you so much!! I really appreciate it!! :D
And ahhh good luck on your finals as well!! We got this! >:,0
Your character design is amazing!!! I love all the details of the different hairstyles, Zeus's lighting-bolt shaped eyebrows, the owl (presumably Athena?) watching at the beginning. The facial expressions are incredible--they portray so much, and the little subtle shifts tell a whole story of their own.
We'll be the one TO SLAYYYYYYYYY
All i can say is amazing!! Im lost for words because of the design, details of the background and characters and fecial expressions 😶😯❤❤❤❤
_english is my secound language so sorry for the mistakes_
That Neo design gave me literal chills omg
YEAH YOU GAVE ZEUS LIGHTNING BROWS

this animatic is truly amazing
"but now we'll be the ones who slayyy 💅"
I love this whole thing, but especially the hair! It’s so good, I love the way that it’s messy but also clean if that makes sense?
This is incredible!!
that was awesome good job hope you make more
oh my god this is amazing keep going! I
love the design of the characters but most of the zeus and his angry eyebrows XD
You know, I would think Odysseus would blind the baby or turn him into cripple rather than kill him. Then again, maybe this is how Odysseus first started learning that there are other ways of winning. The guilt of killing a innocent forced him to think in different ways. It's interesting to see someone who is both villian and hero.
Amazing Work ❤❤❤❤
This… Is the best thing I’ve ever seen. Absolutely amazing!!!
You did a very awesome work dude!
1:33 the enemy soldier here cracks me up every time I see it. Looks like this emoji 😵💫and it is fantastic.
DANM!!!!! This is art!!! i like it so much
