Correction: It's not Pluto but Goofy. I'm not really into those cartoons and they're both dogs apparently so I wasn't that far off in my guess. Hey, at least I knew it was one of them lol
Hearing Amalia speak in Swedish makes me realize how perfectly she speaks English on the show..thank you for uploading and translating this video of the beautiful actress ❣️❣️
Right? I'm Swedish and I had absolutely no idea she was too! It felt sooooo weird to hear her speak Swedish! A friend told me she was, and I almost didn't believe her. And then she showed me this 😆 There are a lot of Swedish actors that mainly works in the US, like all the acting Skarsgård and Alicia Vikander, that also speaking English pretty much flawlessly. The only one of the Skarsgårds you can kinda tell is Nordic is Stellan. But both Bill and Alexander could just as well have been American. But it's so impressive. To even get a chance to go to the US and/or Canada to act is freaking HUGE! That's every drama-kids dream!
shes so so humble and so smart, the way she expresses her thoughts and how grateful she was for receiving the biggest role of her career (its kinda true when she stated there are so many NO for just one YES). Gotta love Amalia and her performance in MFS is stunning, breathtakingly beautiful and incredible acting skills are displayed. Hope to see her more in the big roles or bigger projects in US
I love to watch Motherland cast interviews and thank you for the translation it helps so much. I admire Amalia's acting talent she's really good and how I wish like her can speak different languages.
Just searching through some Amalia content and found this. First thank you for uploading. Second she is such amazing actor and smart person. I fell instantly in love with Scylla (and her😉) . What I wonder is why the hosts didn't dig deeper into esp. Scylla & Raelle and the huge fandom. Seems to me that they hadn't really got a clue what MFS is about and what it means to the fandom.
MFS isn't really on the radar over here in Sweden. Like no one outside of hard-core fans on Twitter know about it so there really was never gonna be an in depth interview about it. This was more an introduction of Amalia to the Swedish public.
Here i am looking and admiring how she's speaking Swedish that I failed to see the eng subtitles 😂... thanks for translating though I didn't mind rewatching I just love her😍
Of course I will, at least the Swedish things. I'm not really into motherland that much anymore but I'll try to translate any Swedish content form Amalia. Check out the radio interview from August I subbed if you haven't already.
If I could have a convo with any celebrity it’d be with her. She’s so knowledgeable and a political scientist on top of that. Would love to hear her talk more about her views
Ok, regarding the interview... I am so surprised that they never talked about the Motherland FS fandom supporting Amalia! They asked a question about Disney Pluto, but they never once talked about Scylla and Raelle story! The hosts/interviewers mostly talked about politics. WTF. The hosts/interviewers were really bad. Amalia was very graceful and answered their their terrible questions as best as she could.
Nope, you're the one misunderstanding what this interview set out to do. The Pluto(it was Goofy actually and I messed up lol) thing was actually more of a joke but it gets lost in translation. Motherland isn't on the radar of anyone over here if you aren't on Twitter (which is the least popular SM here). I don't even think the hosts have watched it. This interview was more a way to introduce Amalia to the Swedish public (she's not known over here either) and having her talk about topics that interest the Swedish public (politics, her roots/languages) was the best way to achieve that. This wasn't Motherland promo (the show is on Disney+ over here which is far behind in subscribers compared to our very own Nordic streaming services, heck even Netflix isn't that popular here) it was Amalia the actress introduction to the Swedish audience (which will come in handy with her upcoming Swedish releases)
I seconded Wlw Studio. The show is so under the radar in many part of the world and just starting picking up steam. I am glad that the swedish tv and Amelia could help promote it as much as they could. Since this series deserve more than 3 seasons.
@@whewgei4810 Actually, when Disney was introduced in Sweden in the late 1940s and 50s, so much got lost in (bad and weird) translation... Goofy/Janne Långben ( long legs wtf?) has really short legs... Donald Duck is translated to allitterated names in most other languages or kept untranslated (Anders And, Aku Ankka) except Swedish, Kalle Anka. The same with Mickey Mouse ("Musse Pigg", where they on drugs...? Why not simply Micke Mus? ). And Donald's nephews are in Sweden his (non-existent) brother's children (brorson/farbror, "Farbror Kalle") although they're really the children of Donald's twin sister Della Duck...

Thank you for the English subtitles. Majority of her fans aren't Swedish so this is very thoughtful.
Thank you so much for the vid and translation! It's so nice to see Amalia doing an interview back in her homeland, she looks so happy 🤩
Thank you for the translation ❤️ I‘d only understand bits & pieces otherwise and this way I‘m totally learning the way it sounds ☺️

Where u get original video?
She probably recorded it..
I watched it live on tv and recorded it since I'm Swedish and live in Sweden where this interview took place.
Soy tu fan
Just a really tiny comment on the translation:
"Långben" is the Swedish name for the Disney character Goofy, not Pluto.
figured as much. not really into disney cartoons but i knew it was one of the dogs lol
