Each new conversation of the occupiers intercepted by the SSU only strengthens the conclusion: after our victory, the only possible form of dealing with Russians is over a closed border, not allowing neighbours come closer than distance of a shot.

Everyone actually cheered for Russia after the comms implosion, hoping for a good future for them as well as for the countries who finally managed to *escape (*or so it seemed). Good folks want to think that the Russians have been free to be good people, too, and it's tough to see that's too often not the case. Of course there are decent folks there, but apparently they're just still a minority.
These ARE the "Russian people". No more can we feel sympathy for them. They are not innocent.
My wife is Ukrainian. Half our family was living in Kharkiv. Now, only our youngest son and her brother remain. The rest have fled to safety. Our son and her brother remain to defend Kharkiv.
They never had any ill will toward Russians. Ukrainians just wanted to live their lives and choose their own government. I know these people, I lived with them and shared their lives. I proposed marriage to my wife in Gorky Park in Kharkiv. People in villages have enough to do just to survive in good times, they don't have time to worry about hurting anyone, they have very little, but will share all they have with good people. I cannot imagine someone hurting them or destroying what little they have.
I can tell you one thing...Ukrainians will NOT surrender. Putin has bitten off far more than he can chew.
The actions of these ORCs makes me, literally, sick to my stomach.

In the beginning I felt bad for all the young russian soldiers forced into this, but the more time goes by and after seeing Bucha I want to seem them all burn. I never thought i could feel this way but these horrors are real.
I'm inclined to agree with you, but keep in mind that not all Russians are this way. In a more 'selfish' vain, there are Russians, including POWs, joining the territorial defense force AGAINST Russia. If Ukraine were to treat them like animals and slaughter them without any chance to defend themselves legally or fairly then Ukraine could be getting rid of one of its geatest allies in the days to come. Even the lowliest conscript has a family in Russia he can tell about what is happening. Even the lowliest conscript has some information on troop movements and entrenched positions that he happened to see. Justice needs to be served, but the guys who are purposefully getting captured because they can't stomach what's going on are probably our most reliable eye witness accounts of these events. In some cases they could probably even give names of who gave the order and/or who acted on it. We shouldn't let a blind thirst for justice impede it and just cause more harm to innocents.
i dont feel bad as i knew the only solution to this war are as many Russians killed as possible. 30, 40, 50k....war criminals deserve to die in Ukraine! Russians will only wake up when thousands of Russians never return home!
From what I understood and that people who gets "more inside information" like old soldiers etc. say that it is really the mercenaries that do things like this. They are asked to do it, they are the ones stealing and looting mostly, it's not the young soldiers.

So now it turns out that most Ukrainians don't want to be Russians, Russia is declaring the total annihilation of all things Ukrainian. For Russia, 80-90% of Ukrainians are nazis, and have to be killed / put in camps / re-educated... Russian minorities always had to conform to the ruling Russian culture. Now they want to do the same with Ukraine. They will not accept an independent Ukrainian culture. If you don't believe me, read the government-approved opinion on Ria Novosti about denazification, i.e. the 'endlosung' of Ukrainians.

I watched an interview with Khodorkovsky, he said travelled to Germany to find out when did nazi ideology became hated. He said late sixties. It will be a whole generation when Russians realize what they've done is wrong.

One tries to maintain coherence and fairness when evaluating people, but with what Russian soldiers have been demonstrating with their families and a large number of civilians in their statements, it only generates a deep rejection and contempt for the ideals that they as supposed human beings defend in this criminal invasion and slaughter of the Ukrainian people. There is no way to empathize with the calamities that the Russians will surely begin to experience even knowing that some innocent people will also pay the consequences.
I could never be a politically correct person, and today is not going to be the exception to give my point of view.
Nobody is asking for political correctness. But you mention fairness.. Then be fair and acknowledge that there are also many Russians who are as horrified about the war than we are. Acknowledge that there are Russian soldiers who deserted freely, not to just save their lives, but after they saw that their comrades were doing atrocities.
Also, Russian media is completely under the control of the regime by now and is clearly brainwashing the citizens.
Some of them may genuinely believe this is a just cause..

Shame indeed, but I've been reading comments in the military obituary notices on VK, the Russian facebook. Joyful, celebratory and insulting comments followed by "Слава Украине" are commonplace among condolences to families who lost loved ones who believed in their cause or were victims of circumstances. It's disheartening to see that common grief is used to deepen the problem when there is an opportunity to share the grief. The dead are buried, but not the enmity so war carries on.

It’s awesome to see some Indians supporting Ukraine. I’m sorry to say, but I have seen lots of Indians glorifying Russia. What they fail to understand is that Russia would never help India in a true conflict. The only thing they would do is sell you weapons and earn money of your suffering. Collecting humanitarian aid for their own military? As an American who grew up and remains part of the US military family, I truly cannot believe that. How does the number 2 military in the world fail to feed their troops just miles over their own border? That is beyond insane.

Russia has always been famous for its bad logistics.
Russia has little money left. By doing this it makes the population feel like they are doing something good helping their troops, it makes them feel part of the war effort so they are less likely to oppose it and it save the Russian government money from not having to buy things. In a way its like a stealth tax on the population.
